My husband case was documentarily qualified since 12 December 2022. Also, his priority date is 2019, December 19, the date the case was initially filed with USCIS. My question is how soon will he get an interview?? His visa class is IR1.. Embassy is Monrovia
Thank you for your informative content. I am an EB2 NIW applicant from South Africa. If you are DQ and current, how long does it take for your interview to be scheduled?
Can you do a video that explains what it means to be document complete please? What documents are you referring to - birth certificates, divorce papers etc?
Awesome video. Do you know how embassies prioritize interviews, assuming a pool of candidates is documentary complete and their visa is current? Do they go off the oldest priority date, or oldest DQ date? I’ve heard mixed things. Thanks!
Hello, my dad priority is July 2004 and the current priority date now is June 2009? How do we know our priority date is current? He is in F3 category. Hope you answer this question 🥹
Good day sir, 1. when my form I-130 petition was filed on my behalf by my elder brother who's an American citizen in February 18, 2022, I was single but now I'm married. Will it have any impact on the petition and if yes, how do I go about resolving it so it doesn't affect the petition negatively? 2. The monthly visa bulletin, how do I check it or where do I find it? 3. If my date becomes current, will USCIS contact my brother who's the petitioner or me the beneficiary?
It's going to affect you my uncle and aunt did the same thing and they all was taken off of the filing only the others was still on it . They were the only ones to be in the states . But he can do over the filling for you wen ur married meaning start from scratch . If u waited to get married it would have done a number on u considering brothers and sisters filling could take many many many years .
Hello Sir, it’s my first time watching your channel.. I got curious as I go over about immigrations.. thank you for the informations . How long does it take for nvc to send to you a welcome letter for a f4 category from the rest of world ? Does it mean that when you receive a welcome letter means that you are documentarily qualified?
Sir what is expedite case and how it can be done? When status becomes current, do NVC notify petitioner? How long status remain current if by any chance petetioner doesnt check or know for long long time? How much is wait time for sibling for Islamabad embassy? How do we can read visa bulletion u explain every month bz there is no islamabad written in that and how we can check for sibling for islamabad in that visa bulletion? Plz make a video on this also.
So when your documents have been approved and your Priority date is current, are you supposed to wait till you are contacted by the nvc or you have to email them ?
Which date of visa Bulletin must be current date of filing or final action date ? I’m A DQ in June 23 F3 category. Question is : is it possible to get my interview before my PD be current in final action date or its not possible I should be current in final action date so embassy can schedule an interview spot for me? Awaiting for your kind support. Thanks In advance

Good night My priority date is showing January 4 2016. I was documentary qualified June 26,2023 so are u saying I should get my appointment date January of next year?
January 2024 could be a possibility for your interview. However, factors like visa category, current processing times, and potential retrogression can affect the timeline

And ask for the application to be null or something? I have had a pending interview since Nov 2021, my priority date is April 2019. Hi, Jacob. I haven’t received updates on my F22 visa application from the NVC for the last four months, as expected. I used to receive an email saying ‘Your case is in line for an interview’ every 60 days. What can I do?
Hello sir.. I have an issue bothering me while I wait for my interview F4 category.. sir I have illegally entered one European country and lived there for 3 yrs and had a legal job..I have proof of employment ... I was not deported I voluntarily returned home. The question is would this violation have any bearing on my interview... this is giving me sleepless nights..
Your situation involves a complex area of U.S. immigration law. Generally, any past illegal presence or unauthorized employment in a country other than the United States can have implications for a U.S. visa application, including those in the F4 category (brother/sister of a U.S. citizen). Here are some key points to consider: Disclosure is Important: During your visa interview, you must be truthful about all aspects of your history, including your time in the European country. Failing to disclose this information, if discovered later, can lead to more serious consequences than the violation itself. Impact on Visa Eligibility: The main concern for U.S. immigration authorities is usually any illegal presence or violations of law within the United States. However, they also consider your overall immigration and criminal history, including in other countries, to assess your eligibility and admissibility. Proof of Reformation and Ties to Home Country: Demonstrating that you have ties to your home country and that you have reformed since your illegal stay in Europe can be beneficial. Evidence of steady employment, family ties, and community involvement in your home country are all positive factors. Potential Waivers: If the consular officer determines that your past actions make you inadmissible to the United States, they will inform you if a waiver is available. Waivers are complex and often require demonstrating that denying your visa would cause extreme hardship to a U.S. citizen or permanent resident relative. Consult with an Immigration Attorney: Given the complexity of your situation, it's highly advisable to consult with an immigration attorney. They can provide personalized advice based on the specifics of your case and guide you on the best approach to take during your interview. Prepare for the Interview: Be ready to explain your situation candidly and provide any documentation that supports your case. This could include proof of your voluntary return to your home country, evidence of your legal job in Europe, and any other relevant information. Remember, each visa application is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and the consular officer has the discretion to determine the impact of your past actions on your current application. Being prepared and honest is the best approach in these situations.
Priority date Oct 2012 Due to the numerical limitations on immigrant visa issuance prescribed by law, this petition is not eligible for further processing at this time. The National Visa Center (NVC) will retain the petition until an immigrant visa becomes available. The NVC will notify the petitioner, principal applicant, or attorney of record when this petition is eligible for further processing. The principal applicant should not make any firm plans such as disposing of property, giving up jobs, or making travel arrangements at this time.

Good day sir, My wife in philippines just got her case got documentarily qualified on july 03, 2023. and the priority date is 15sept2020. Do you have any data or an estimate in when she'll get her interview. Any information will be greatly appreciated, Thank you!
When it comes to predicting the interview scheduling for a case that has just been documentarily qualified, there are several factors to consider: Documentarily Qualified Date: Your wife's case became documentarily qualified on July 03, 2023. This is an important milestone, as it means the National Visa Center (NVC) has reviewed and accepted all the required documents. Priority Date: Her priority date is September 15, 2020. The priority date must be current in the Visa Bulletin for an interview to be scheduled. Case Category and Processing Times: The specific visa category and the current processing times at both the NVC and the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in the Philippines will impact the scheduling. Local U.S. Embassy/Consulate Capacity: The U.S. Embassy in Manila, like other consulates and embassies, has its own processing capacities and timelines which can vary based on staffing, local COVID-19 conditions, and other factors. General Estimates: Historically, once a case is documentarily qualified, it might take several months to get an interview date. However, this timeframe can vary widely depending on the factors mentioned above. Given these considerations, it's challenging to provide a precise estimate for when your wife will get her interview. It's important to monitor the Visa Bulletin for updates on the priority dates and stay in communication with the NVC. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, and for any further assistance or guidance specific to your wife's case, you can: Text Me: at 619-483-4549 for a consultation. f you can't find a valid affidavit of support for your immigration process: Application Risk: Your visa or status adjustment application may be denied. Alternatives: Consider a joint sponsor, use assets to meet requirements, or consult an immigration attorney. Public Charge Concern: The affidavit proves you won't depend on government assistance. Importance of Documentation: Ensure your sponsor can provide proof of income or assets. Legal Advice: It's advisable to get legal guidance for specific advice or alternative options.
the derivative beneficiary's age is calculated by adding the age difference between the filing date and the priority date (in years) to 21 (assuming the beneficiary is at least 21 on the filing date).

The best form to use for a marriage visa is the Immigrant Petition for Alien Relative, Form I-130. This form is filed by the U.S. citizen spouse to petition for their foreign-born spouse to obtain a green card. The form can be filed online or by mail.

If your father filed an I-130 petition for you and your family in 2011, and it has been pending with the National Visa Center (NVC) since 2015, there are a few key factors and steps you can consider: Visa Category: The visa category for which the I-130 was filed will significantly impact the waiting time. Family preference categories (F1, F2A, F2B, F3, F4) have annual numerical limits, leading to longer wait times. Priority Date: The priority date (the date the I-130 was filed) is crucial. Your priority date must become current in the Visa Bulletin before further action can be taken. Check the current Visa Bulletin to see where your date stands in comparison to the dates being processed. Processing Delays: The processing times vary depending on the visa category and the country of chargeability. Delays can also occur due to administrative or documentation issues. NVC Status: If your case has been with the NVC since 2015, it's essential to ensure that all required documents have been submitted and there are no outstanding requests or requirements. Action Steps: Regularly check the Visa Bulletin to monitor the progress of priority dates. Contact the NVC to inquire about the status of your case and ensure that no additional information or documents are required. Consider consulting with an immigration attorney for personalized advice, especially if there seem to be unusual delays or complications. Keep Your Information Updated: It's important to keep your contact information and any relevant changes in your circumstances updated with the NVC. Prepare for Next Steps: Once your priority date becomes current, be ready to proceed with the next steps, such as submitting visa applications and preparing for interviews. For personalized assistance or a consultation regarding your specific case, you can: Text Me: at 619-483-4549. Generally, any past illegal presence or unauthorized employment in a country other than the United States can have implications for a U.S. visa application, including those in the F4 category (brother/sister of a U.S. citizen). Disclosure is Important: During your visa interview, you must be truthful about all aspects of your history, including your time in the European country. Failing to disclose this information, if discovered later, can lead to more serious consequences than the violation itself.

Hi have you received interview yet ?
Good day sir,
My wife in philippines just got her case got documentarily qualified on july 03, 2023. and the priority date is 15sept2020. Do you have any data or an estimate in when she'll get her interview.
Any information will be greatly appreciated, Thank you!
When it comes to predicting the interview scheduling for a case that has just been documentarily qualified, there are several factors to consider:
Documentarily Qualified Date: Your wife's case became documentarily qualified on July 03, 2023.

What happens if you cant find a valid affidavit of support?
Case reject
f you can't find a valid affidavit of support for your immigration process:
Application Risk: Your visa or status adjustment application may be denied.
Alternatives: Consider a joint sponsor, use assets to meet requirements, or consult an immigration attorney.
Public Charge Concern: The affidavit proves you won't depend on government assistance.
Importance of Documentation: Ensure your sponsor can provide proof of income or assets.
Legal Advice: It's advisable to get legal guidance for specific advice or alternative options.
how to calculate age of derivative beneficiary based on chart b the new method? please provide formula Thanks
the derivative beneficiary's age is calculated by adding the age difference between the filing date and the priority date (in years) to 21 (assuming the beneficiary is at least 21 on the filing date).
So detailed explanation...Good work Jacob👍👍

My dad filled 1-130 for me and my family since 2011 and we are still waiting for as it is pending with NVC since 2015
If your father filed an I-130 petition for you and your family in 2011, and it has been pending with the National Visa Center (NVC) since 2015, there are a few key factors and steps you can consider:
Visa Category: The visa category for which the I-130 was filed will significantly impact the waiting time.
Action Steps:
Regularly check the Visa Bulletin to monitor the progress of priority dates.
