I’ve been loving the wider leg jeans these past two years, and find them very comfortable and flattering if the proportions worn with them are right. I’m tall, pus size, and pear shaped, and I’ve been getting compliments on my wide leg jeans whenever I wear them. Somehow the drape and softer shape works better at creating the illusion of a smarter outfit! Good tips in your video! Thanks from Canada!
I don't like to tuck things in because of my tummy (working on it 😊). I have found that shorter, more fitted tops look better with the wide-legged jeans. Sometimes I knot the looser tops to make them fit better. Kudos to you for your slim figure! Cheers from Chicago 🎉
Same here. I have a really short torso, and find that shorter tops, or knotting something up instead of tucking in is more indeed more flattering to my frame. And for me the most comfortable as well. :)
I’m loving the newer high waist wide leg jeans. I am 5’8” and pear shaped so have a small waist and wider hips and thighs. They look better and are much more comfortable than a tight leg and below waist jeans for me. I will buy enough to last for a while if they go away, but I think they will be around for a long time. Many people look better in them as they hold the muffin in rather than having it spill over the waist!
Merci, Marie-Anne! I always learn something from your videos, even when I'm not keen on the style, such as the wide leg trousers. Pairing the jackets was helpful as well. Your mother's jacket is a wow, as it is always good to see Coco and Peanut. They are effortlessly chic 😊❤
I think the first two pairs wide leg jeans make your lower half look wide even with the better choices in tops. I like the third pair, which is fitted through the waist and hips. I just don't think the first two would be flattering on anyone. xo~linda
Yes! The look works. I also think wide leg pants go well with shorter blazers, eg, blazers that hit at the hip. I appreciate your style tips so much. They help we work my wardrobe well.
Thank you so much for describing the body shapes that can wear wide leg jeans. I am pear shaped and have always thought I look like a giant post in wide leg jeans or a midi denim skirt - one long, wide silhouette. You are correct about boot cut jeans. They do flatter my pear shaped body.
I’m a slender, borderline petite (164 cm) rectangle-shape and I just never feel as good in my wide-leg trousers as I do in my straight-legged ones. Even with my beloved 2.5-inch mid heels, as high as I can stand. Even though I wear them with fitted tops, I just don’t think they’re as flattering on my short, narrow frame as straight-leg or tapered trousers. Part of the problem, I think, is that my hips are quite narrow, so I get extra fabric there if the trousers are sized to close at the waist, absolutely essential! This is why I wear mostly dresses and skirt outfits, I’m 64 and never found even one pair of jeans or trousers that fit me properly. Most can’t be altered because of the pockets, flat-felled seams in jeans, and/or side zippers, it’s much more involved than taking in a waistband.
I love wide leg jeans and trousers! I have an hourglass shape, so I choose the style that has a high waist that is closer to the body like the last pair you wore. I like to wear them with tops that are v-neck and broader in the shoulder, tucked in with a belt. I always get compliments when I do this. I recently purchased 2 vests, one like the one that you wore and another that is more like a jacket that is nipped in, with a notched collar. The second one really emphasizes my waist when I wear it with a plain v-neck t-shirt tucked in with my wide leg jeans. I have some low-heeled gold espadrilles that look very nice with this look.
Hello Marie-Anne x I saw this video pop up, and I decided I would purchase the wide jeans before watching. Risky 😮 I know. I love this style, and I feel amazing when I try them on, and yet I shy away from purchasing them. So I got a white pair and a dark denim pair and thought I would watch this video after. After watching your videos, I am beginning to love the body I now have and not fixating on the slimmer body I was before babies and health problems. A lady at church said to me that I had a merrier figure of a life lived. I loved this comment very much ❤️ 😅 Thank you for all your tips and tricks. I'm going to enjoy putting my autumn/winter look together ❤️ 🎉😊 Xx
Thank you Marie-Anne. I have been dealing with chronic pain for the last 20+ years and am very limited in my movements, because of this (and comfort eating due to pain and frustration), l've put on quite a lot of weight and have a lot of associated shame and body image issues. I've been attempting to lose weight but, in the interim l have gone from a slim rectangle to a middle aged apple which l have no idea how to dress. Thanks to your tips l feel l can at least go out in public looking respectable and even stylish while l continue my journey. 😊
Thank you Marie-Anne for your insights. I am a Rectangle, but my preference is a straight leg jean sitting at mid waist. I have them in white, dark denim and black. Love Coco and Peanut making an appearance 🥰
Merci, Marie-Anne. Love your wide leg trousers and jeans, I own several of them and as a rectangle bodyshape myself they suit me, everything you mentioned makes perfect sense. Great helpful advice.
Over the years no matter what style has been the most popular I always look best and get the most compliments whenever I wear bootcut jeans. I'm a petite hour glass 5'1" (155 cm) and 125 lbs. (56 kg).
I’m so glad fitted-waist, or nipped-waist, blazers are finally available again. For at least five years, only those huge, boxy, too-long blazers were offered and I didn’t buy a single one. Showing shape at the waist is absolutely essential for my rectangle shape. I won’t wear those big, long shirts or tunics, either, they’re so visually thickening, leg-shortening and generally unflattering. I either tuck in my tops neatly all-around or wear waist-length ones, when I can find them, it’s not easy. So many brands still make their tops in that outdated, almost thigh length, that was designed to be worn with lower-rise pants from 2000-2020. The best thing I ever did for my style was to get rid of all those long tops and low or mid-rise pants! Longer tops are coming back in again, but they’re fitted, not boxy, and usually worn open from hem to waist, 100 times better.
I always leaen something from your videos. I am onle 30, so not exactly your target demographic, but you are so delightful! You are a style romodel for me.😊
I like the wide leg jeans. Out of the three you modeled, I prefer the ivory and the more fitted blue ones. I liked the brut color, but I think they would look better if they were slightly more fitted in the hip/bottom area. It's good to have a variety of silhouettes of jeans! As a rectangle myself, I wear everything from a skinny (yes, I still think skinnies have a place) to a wide leg. Proportion is the key to styling everything properly! Great video!
I’m fascinated by this video Marie-Anne, and people’s reactions. For me, I love wide leg pants in flowing fabrics and get stuck with wide leg jeans because denim is heavier and so my legs look blocky and bulky. I do have an ivory pair that work well. from Boden. I appreciate your tips here. But I think I’ll stick with the classic boot cut jean for me, because they look good and suit my shape.
Excellent advice with the balaning of the tops with the jeans. I haven't been wearing jeans this winter as i find too thick. I've been wearing skirts or leggings with long warm jumpers, ankle boots, and faux fur jackets. I know you dont like legging, but they are so comfortable.
I came upon your channel not long after coming home from our holiday in France. I'm a 61 year old Scottish woman and I'm really enjoying watching and hopefully learning the do's and don'ts of how to dress. While we were in France it always amazes me how stylish french women and men are and I said to a friend that a french woman could throw on a tattie (potato) sack and she'd still look good. Your channel is making me rethink how I dress. Merci.
Fabulous video. I purchased a few pairs of wide leg jeans/pants this season and I love the silhouette on my petite figure. I also like the barrel leg on me. Thanks for the tips that will flatter my rectangle shape.
Merci Marie-Anne. The ballet flats look great with that outfit. Also like the black vest with white wide leg jeans. Your mother's jacket is beautiful and slimming.
Marie, you do a great job! The ideas are a primer on the subject! I have to adapt! I'm 65, 120 lbs and 5'2", so what looks good on you may not work for me, but you've given me a starting point! Merci!
Mare-Anne, your Mother's jacket looks wonderful on you. She obviously had exquisite taste. I love my boot cut jeans and wide leg trousers. They are very comfortable and your tips on styling them will help me to make the best of them xxx
Not jeans, but I have a pair of wide leg patch pocket green pants from Madewell that are fitted at the waist and upper hip and wide through the lower hip and leg, great for my rectangle shape. Love them and wear them a lot. Thanks for all the styling ideas from Ottawa, Canada!
Accidentally came across a video of yours on how to wear a denim midi skirt. Now subscribed and watching as many as possible. I love that you go into detail to show us the difference certain articles of clothing make in our appearance. Do you have a video showing different footwear and what they look best with? Example: how to wear tall riding boots; ballet shoes; sneakers (all types); loafers; block heels, etc. I haven’t a clue and can use your advice. Thank you 😊
Bonjour Laura and a Big French Chic Welcome to you 🤗 I have a series of videos titled How To Style .... I think the only one with shoes is White Sneakers. But I have done very many videos on shoes which I adore which you will come to know as you watch my videos 😃 I also pepper advice throughout my videos as you have seen so it is a case of watching and maybe taking notes 😉 I can certainly look to doing more in the series and will keep your suggestions in mind 😃👍 thank you so much for joining us here and becoming one of my newest French Chic Ladies 😘
I absolutely love wide legged pants and jeans and so thrilled that they’ve been quite in trend for some time now. Great tip for the jacket. Love your beloved mother’s jacket 🙏🏼🥰
So glad I found your channel. I have a nice pair of wide leg pants, high waist cut. Now I know what kind of shirt to wear with it. I do have a small belly, not an apple shape or anything, but I do have a tendency not to tuck because of the small belly. Now I see what it really looks like. I guess I will start tucking in. I need a belt though. LOL
Great video! Im enjoying this trend. I'm pairing them with patent leather Vionic Flip flop sandals that have a nice bow detail. What shoes should I wear in the colder months? I am one of those ladies who hates tucking in her blouse. Instead, I have been wearing my wide leg jeans and linen pants with knit tops from J Mclaughlin. They skim my body closely. The tees with a jacquard printed texture are even more elevated and are heavier weight. I love my polo tops, and they even make a top with a nice ruffle at the neckline. I think I can get away with not tucking because they are short and hit not too far below my waist. The J Mclaughlin knit wear packs beautifully and has a nice drape.
New subscriber here. Good Lord, wishing I had the $ to redo my entire wardrobe after watching this video. I'm close to 70, 5-ft tall, size 18/20, and definitely an apple figure (uggghhhhh). I clearly see changes I want to make now and open myself up to tucking in my tops, pay more attention to styles I've been avoiding, need to buy some nice belts (haven't worn a belt in decades), start wearing straight-leg and/wide leg pants, on & on. Although I don't live in a "chic" area geographically, I still want to look my best that's also appropriate to where I live. I'm so excited to start making simple easy changes. I'm now binge watching all your videos to learn as much as I can.
Bonjour Denise and welcome 🤗 style does not have to be expensive. The first thing to do is to declutter and draw up a list of the items you need - look into thrift stores and se what you can find - and always hold out for the Wow! Over time your wardrobe will be transformed 😃 and never forget I am here to help 😘
I love the wide leg jeans/ as a change from the straight or bootleg jeans. A belt looks great with jeans or trousers but just doesn't look right over a jacket Amanda
I'm somewhat tall (5'8") and wear size 2 with a small waist and weigh 115-117 pounds. I still think wide leg jeans or pants make me look fat and dumpy. I just lost 60 pounds so I may be biased. I honestly think that wide legs flatters no one no matter what size. And they will be dated very quickly. I still will only wear straight or skinny. Hello from Key West Florida!! ☺️☺️☺️
We are all different I think skinny suit virtually no one just makes people look like parsnips. My daughter is only 5' she looks great in wide legs but she would wear them with very fitted top horses for courses I guess
Thank you Marie-Anne! I’m getting ready to go out as I watch your video. I am wearing wide leg white jeans and was planning on wearing a striped button down shirt over the top. It’s a shorter, somewhat cropped shirt so I thought it would be ok untucked. After watching you and hearing your wise suggestions, I decided to do a front tuck and wear a neutral belt. Just in time!!
Hi Marie-Anne. Would it be possible to do a video on the difference between French Fashion and Italian Fashion? I think this would be interesting. Very good video and helpful.
I once did a collab with the beautiful and lovely Alyssa Beltempo where we did just that 😃 here is my video th-cam.com/video/Bv7uhBUjR-c/w-d-xo.html and here is hers th-cam.com/video/iyUTd_mdMsk/w-d-xo.html 😘
I was waiting for you to style them with a cropped jacket, as I think this is the best option. However, I do think the look you created with the belted blazer was nice too! ❤
Great advice thank you. I see a nice pair of blue Espadrille shoes with a cork bottom in your shoe cupboard . I think that will also flatter a wide leg pants. Also a bit of height is very slimming .
So well explained! I understood some more things. Thank you! One more good Video/teaching from you! The jacket of your mother is really nice shaped and suits you very well.
Another great video, MarieAnne! :) For reference, I am 5ft 3in tall; hourglass shape. Just found a pair of Madewell Brand----it's called "Perfect Vintage Wide Leg" Jeans. Read the reviews, and ordered one size down. Was delighted to find they are very flattering....fit like palazzo pants--nipped at the natural waist, then drape perfectly everywhere else. Medium Wash, as it was the darkest I could find in my size, and they're nice. They're so comfortable, I feel like I'm wearing my favorite 'at home' pair of sweat pants. LOL And, per your directive, my tops will be of closer fit. Am looking forward to dressing them up and down, by changing out the footwear, etc. :) Comme toujours, Merci MarieAnne. P.S. Your BALMAIN JACKET.....BE STILL MY HEART!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! :)
I'm under 5' tall and have a pair of high waisted, wide leg jeans. I ironed them to create a center seam down the leg. Result? My legs look super long 😊 yay 😁
Such great advice as always. Love the belt on the jacket! What drives me mad is that many jeans are not really denim jeans, they are jeggings! Too much elastic. I'm tall and slim, but I have hips. The boot cuts are fantastic for balance.
I have always admired other ladies who wear wide legged jeans however, I have never had the confidence to do so myself. This video is inspirational and I will now definitely give them a try. Marie Anne with Autumn approaching in a few months could I ask you to do a video on how to wear jumper dresses please? Always a staple in a woman's wardrobe here in the UK. I have a couple and would love to be able to dress them up more for a super chic look ❤
Hello Marianne this was wonderful amazing how wearing the shirt out made you look bigger and your slim I am learning so much and i do try things on and to tuck it in. I prefer wide leg in jeans and pants I think they suit me better . Your mums jacket is Beautiful how special. Thank you for teaching us how to be French Chic ladles. Have a Beautiful weekend xx
Loved this, Marie-Anne! You opened my eyes to wide-leg jeans and trousers … I love their feminine look and love all those you’ve worn in all your videos. At least for me, I’ve grown very weary of the skinny jean. Plus, I live in a hot summer climate, and looser, wider legs make an enormous difference. I loved every outfit that you settled on here, especially your mother’s jacket (so lovely) and the Balmain (or Guerlain?) jacket. Wow. I love your necklace, and it’s the perfect length. If you can share, would love to know more. p.s. Your video on “finding your waist” changed my life. It made SO much sense. I didn’t think I could do it, but I’ve been wearing belts ever since, and loving it. MERCI!!! p.p.s. I love looking at all the stripes in your closet … it makes me laugh … and think I need to get more stripes! lol!
Bonjour Akearn - I bought that necklace a very long time ago so I doubt it is still being made. I am very happy that you are taking such value from my videos and loving your style 🤗
Thank you, Marie-Anne, this was a great video. Such good timely information and now it makes sense why I was Not having a good time trying on jeans the other day. I am 5'3" size 10/12 on the bottom and an 8 on top- therefore I am a Pear. I think small flares and bootcut are best for me (I agree with you on that). But i can get away with the wide leg style if it isn't too wide and more fitted in the hip area. Oh and I am so happy that we are seeing high-waisted jeans and pants again. I was miserable in trying to make lower rise and skinny jeans work. Damn - I wore bell bottom hip huggers and the 70's , but with a body suit that snapped at the crotch. Yes I am that old. Keep making these videos, they are so enjoyable.
Hi from Brazil!! I'm hourglass body type, 1,70m, 54kg .. I like to wear my wide legs with fitted sleevless tops with turtle neck. I also wear them with fitted tops, contrastant colors, V neck 🙂They match perfect with boots and short fitted jackets. Great tips!! thanks! 🙂 I don't like skinny & cropped jeans...
My favourite are the Comptoir in this video. I noticed that there is a tendency for wide leg jeans to be quite tight in the derriere section and uncomfortable. I used to like them, but I guess that I will have to buy straight or boot cut again which I have always done because I stayed away from the skinny jeans. (I thought that they looked cheap.) I remember you being in the Comptoir des C. shop when you were in Paris. I instantly loved the dark blue washes. As for the black, always a bit of non-phosphate creamy detergent and cold wash. May I add that long dark denim skirts are my favourite this season, especially a pair with vertical seams. Best wishes, Ivanka Merci Paris 2024, c'etait spectaculaire.
Marie gave ideal suggestions for people with different body shapes, of course its not easy for her to represent them exactly because she's slim 🤗. But it seemed you helped good numbers of ppl here so may I have a request .. I'm 5 feet tall, average and always liked the street casual, mild rocker not too over the edge style.😂 I'm a GenX by the way😅🙏.
Bonjour Azlyn - I have a number of videos for my Petite ladies 😃 these cover the essentials and all you need do is adjust for your style by adding in your personality and you are good to go 😃👍
Lots of different opinions on this video Marie-Anne, you have certainly given your followers plenty to think about, I personally really liked the look, and the Jacket that belonged to your Mum was lovely, as soon as you picked it out I liked it even before you said it belonged to Mum, again plenty of food for thought. Thank you very interesting video as always.
Which? the Consumers' Association, UK say that you should use washing powder for whites but washing liquid for darks (ie your black jeans) because that has no brighteners in it and will allow your darks to remain dark and not turn grey. All popular washing powders apparently contain brighteners, so your whites can glow white! Hope helpful.
Since I am more of a rectangle, with long legs, wide leg with tighter around my bottom looks the best. If they aren't tight there, I get lost in them and look frumpy. 😊
I wash dark clothes in Woolite for Darks, which really helps reduce and control fading. I love wide leg and bootcut jeans. The skinny leg trend is not for me, and I a, thankful it is going away.
go here Brenda its free www.marieannelecoeur.com/shape-up-ecourse.html and if you still have a problem email me your measurements - we will get your sorted 😃
The Comptoir les Cotonniers jeans are great for shorter people because of the medium rise. I am fed up of trying on wide leg jeans with high waists and looking like the old men from my childhood who used to wear trousers with the waist around the ribcage held up by braces! Please keep us posted of any more wide leg jeans with mid rise waists.
Thanks! Very good video 😍👏 I love the wide legs jeans with a more slim shirt (as you suggest). But all the shirts I see in the stores right now are wide too 🙃 So I find it difficult to find the right shirts to this kind of jeans. Any suggestions where to find slim shirts nowadays? 💓
Just yesterday I spent hours trying wide leg jeans and none fitted 😂 I think they look better with mid or low rise, at least on me, because there’s less fabric on the belly. I’m tall (5’10” - 1,78) that’s why I prefer the Comptoir for you. BTW, loved ❤ your white blouse, which brand is it?

That is wonderful Marilyn 😃
Thank you, Marie Anne. I adore wide leg trousers and jeans, they suit my body shape, so all you say here makes perfect sense to me.

I don't like to tuck things in because of my tummy (working on it 😊). I have found that shorter, more fitted tops look better with the wide-legged jeans. Sometimes I knot the looser tops to make them fit better. Kudos to you for your slim figure! Cheers from Chicago 🎉
Same. I wear a slightly fitted and just passed tummy. Works well. I have a less extreme pear shape/ pretty close to hourglass.
Same here. I have a really short torso, and find that shorter tops, or knotting something up instead of tucking in is more indeed more flattering to my frame. And for me the most comfortable as well. :)

I'm loving the wide leg jeans. Too much butt for the narrows. I hate apple bottom jeans and ripped.
I think the first two pairs wide leg jeans make your lower half look wide even with the better choices in tops. I like the third pair, which is fitted through the waist and hips. I just don't think the first two would be flattering on anyone.

Yes! The look works. I also think wide leg pants go well with shorter blazers, eg, blazers that hit at the hip. I appreciate your style tips so much. They help we work my wardrobe well.

Bonjour Karen - how wonderful that you are loving your beautiful, marvellous body that has given you the gift of children once more ❤️🙏
Loves all the advice!
Wide leg jeans/pants are cooler in the summer high tempertures.
I have two Anne Fontaine wide leg jeans and they are my faves. I get lots of compliments on them and they feel amazing-very worth the investment.

Adding white vinegar as a soak to lock in dark colors and/or a rinse instead of a fabric softener.

Merci Marie-Anne. The ballet flats look great with that outfit. Also like the black vest with white wide leg jeans. Your mother's jacket is beautiful and slimming.
🤗
Marie, you do a great job! The ideas are a primer on the subject! I have to adapt! I'm 65, 120 lbs and 5'2", so what looks good on you may not work for me, but you've given me a starting point! Merci!
That is perfect Barb 😃 I have done a number of videos for my petite ladies - make sure you study those well 😘
I recently bought a pair of wide leg dark denim jeans and I love them. I wear them with a fitted top. I think I look great ! Others may disagree.
💙
😘
So glad I found your channel. I have a nice pair of wide leg pants, high waist cut. Now I know what kind of shirt to wear with it. I do have a small belly, not an apple shape or anything, but I do have a tendency not to tuck because of the small belly. Now I see what it really looks like. I guess I will start tucking in. I need a belt though. LOL
You are very welcome 😃
Boots would work well 😃 I like your thinking alternative to tucking 👍
@@MarieAnneLecoeur Thank you!
Living in the South I also wear Vionics much of the year. I love my new high waist wide leg jeans and also wear sneakers or flats with them.
A belt looks great with jeans or trousers but just doesn't look right over a jacket
Amanda
I look dumpy in them too
I hope these ideas change your mind Katrina 😃 they are certainly better than skinnies!
@@MarieAnneLecoeur I will give them another chance!☺️☺️
Parsnips 😂😂😂love it. @@sarahmacrae8277
That was well timed indeed Anne 😃
I love that silk shirt on you either way. ❤️❤️
I have 4 pairs of Zara marine cut. They are very good as have a fitted high waist which can be styled with a short fitted (but not cropped) top.
😃👍
I love high waist jeans !!! 😍
😃👍
Great advice thank you. I see a nice pair of blue Espadrille shoes with a cork bottom in your shoe cupboard . I think that will also flatter a wide leg pants. Also a bit of height is very slimming .
So well explained! I understood some more things. Thank you! One more good Video/teaching from you!
The jacket of your mother is really nice shaped and suits you very well.
Merci 🤗
Glad you enjoyed it Karen x that jacket is so lovely ❤️
Love the wide leg jeans on you. I’m 5.2” and petite, bootleg more flattering .
💯👍
Excellence! Thank you Marie-Anne!
This was very helpful and timely since I just purchased white, wide leg jeans. I'm returning them because they don't work with any of my shoes.
👍
Great video. Thanks. Look at all those striped sweaters! I think I need another one.
😃👍
Loved your video and all the styles shown!!!!!!!
I love my wide leg jeans ❤
The ballet flats really do work with the wide legs, I never would’ve thought. Merci! Would wide legs work with boots in winter?
It depends how you style them Akearn 😃 lets see in the Fall shall we 😉
Yep skinnys or straight are the best wide leg remind me of 1950s overalls for men
So helpful, thank you!!
Glad it was helpful Martha 😃
I would put on a skinny long sleeve crew neck tee, my jeans and a Black suit vest with white sneakers!
Marie-Anne. Thanks for a very useful tips.
You are very welcome Tina x
I'm under 5' tall and have a pair of high waisted, wide leg jeans. I ironed them to create a center seam down the leg. Result? My legs look super long 😊 yay 😁
👍
Such great advice as always. Love the belt on the jacket! What drives me mad is that many jeans are not really denim jeans, they are jeggings! Too much elastic. I'm tall and slim, but I have hips. The boot cuts are fantastic for balance.
Great tips dear Marie-Anne! I love your bee cushion 🐝! La petite abeille🐝! Regards 💖🤗
🐝❤️
I have always admired other ladies who wear wide legged jeans however, I have never had the confidence to do so myself. This video is inspirational and I will now definitely give them a try.
Marie Anne with Autumn approaching in a few months could I ask you to do a video on how to wear jumper dresses please? Always a staple in a woman's wardrobe here in the UK. I have a couple and would love to be able to dress them up more for a super chic look ❤
Bonjour Louise - I did this video sometime ago th-cam.com/video/HTkehD1S94o/w-d-xo.html 😃
Love your mom’s jacket with white jeans.
You are very welcome Jacqui 🤗
@@MarieAnneLecoeur Yet another reason to buy classic styles … timeless! Merci!
Love all these looks. Great suggestions! Thank you!
Coco certainly wanted to get in on the act, such adorable little dog 🙂

I enjoy making these videos Kim and happy you like to watch them 😘
Enjoyed your looks and tips with the jeans.
😃😘
Hi from Brazil!! I'm hourglass body type, 1,70m, 54kg .. I like to wear my wide legs with fitted sleevless tops with turtle neck. I also wear them with fitted tops, contrastant colors, V neck 🙂They match perfect with boots and short fitted jackets. Great tips!! thanks! 🙂 I don't like skinny & cropped jeans...
Sounds great Roberta 😃 I would love it if you would Share Your Chic with us 😃 send a selfie to info@marieannelecour.com
(I thought that they looked cheap.)
I remember you being in the Comptoir des C. shop when you were in Paris. I instantly loved the dark blue washes.
As for the black, always a bit of non-phosphate creamy detergent and cold wash.
May I add that long dark denim skirts are my favourite this season, especially a pair with vertical seams.
Best wishes, Ivanka
Merci Paris 2024, c'etait spectaculaire.
I adore Comptoire Ivanka - they are one of my go to brands 😃
Thank you Maryanne.
Thanks for the video…I bought a pair of white and also khaki wide leg jeans and I appreciate the advice. 😎
You are very welcome x
Dear Marie Anne,
You have a great skin indeed.
I have waited for your new video concerning skin care for mature ladies ,pl. 😊
Have a happy weekend ❤❤❤
Bonjour Rauli - it is on the list of to dos 😃
@@MarieAnneLecoeurMerci , Marie Anne 😊
Merci Marie-Anne, great advice for wide leg jeans

Love itt the cream jacket etc
Love your channel BUT I really love your little pups!
🐾❤️
I'll stick with the straight leg jeans 👖
Me too
Love the fisherman sandals. Do you have a link or brand name, please?
They are by Billi Bi Kathryn 😘
Thank you so much! Just discovered your channel and love it!
Bonjour Azlyn - I have a number of videos for my Petite ladies 😃 these cover the essentials and all you need do is adjust for your style by adding in your personality and you are good to go 😃👍
@@MarieAnneLecoeur Bonjour Marie, tats cool! 😃 Thank you so much Marie 🥰I will definitely check them out!😍Gotta rock that street chic look ASAP 😂❤
I love your dog, so cute😊

Lots of different opinions on this video Marie-Anne, you have certainly given your followers plenty to think about, I personally really liked the look, and the Jacket that belonged to your Mum was lovely, as soon as you picked it out I liked it even before you said it belonged to Mum, again plenty of food for thought. Thank you very interesting video as always.
😘
Which? the Consumers' Association, UK say that you should use washing powder for whites but washing liquid for darks (ie your black jeans) because that has no brighteners in it and will allow your darks to remain dark and not turn grey. All popular washing powders apparently contain brighteners, so your whites can glow white! Hope helpful.
Since I am more of a rectangle, with long legs, wide leg with tighter around my bottom looks the best. If they aren't tight there, I get lost in them and look frumpy. 😊
Excellent video thankyoux
Gorgeous blouse with the dark jeans- lovely
I wash dark clothes in Woolite for Darks, which really helps reduce and control fading. I love wide leg and bootcut jeans. The skinny leg trend is not for me, and I a, thankful it is going away.
Thank you for the info Marie-Anne... I am a Pear or Apple or Rectangle I cannot decided.
go here Brenda its free www.marieannelecoeur.com/shape-up-ecourse.html and if you still have a problem email me your measurements - we will get your sorted 😃
I will keep it in mind Elle 😘
They are hard to find Nina - a little bit of tailoring can transform a wide shirt into a slimmer one very simple for a seamstress to do 😘
@@MarieAnneLecoeur Thank you! Good idea. I was just going to my sewing machine and try to fix a big blue shirt to a slimmer one 🥰
The blouse is from ME&EM Julia 🤍
Really useful video ❤
🤗
Lovely👍
So helpful as always thank you.
I find buying a size up in a straight leg jean is better than wide leg . Gives a similar look but better for petite people .
Very smart! I am petite and love slightly loose straight leg pants. Never thought of sizing up. Will surely try!
