Im 5.4 wearing wide leg jeans with a low heel wedges, it looks good and good option beside kitten heels. I will try a (probably higher) block heel and slim sneakers
Not everyone can wear heels or wants to, and not everyone can or wants to wear cropped shirts or cardigans. Many of us carry extra weight around our stomach and hips, and we prefer styles that help conceal those areas. It would be great if you could make a video showing us what to wear if we have extra weight in these areas. Thank you!
Instead of cropped tops wear longer tops! Instead of heels wear flats! Instead of cardigans wear whatever you want! I'm pretty sure she has already done a video on how to conceal a fat stomach as well.
@@LightLoveLaughthen don't wear cropped tops and heels! No one is forcing you to wear those! Wear flats and regular length tops! Problem solved. Maybe she doesn't like to wear flats and regular tops so why would she waste her money on things she wouldn't wear? Y'all are hypocrites
Can you show do’s and don’ts for wearing pants with sneakers or athletic shoes. It’s just not practical for some of us to wear heels, not even short heels because they’re not comfortable at all. We need to wear sneakers to get around and be comfortable.
Maybe it's a personal preference, but if I wear a wide leg pant/jeans with heels, I'd want the length to be longer. I would prefer the back of the pant to be about half inch above before touching the floor, anything shorter than that tends to look too short, imho and I'd just wear a more pointy toe/squared pointy toe flat instead. I also like a darker wash denim with heels for fall/winter instead of a light wash, but admittedly I tend to wear dark wash year round, lol.

Please show how someone who is petite like you, but is much heavier and with a different silhouette ( apple, triangle, hourglass, etc) can wear wide leg jeans. I have a few pairs of these jeans but always look so awkward. 🤔
@@tonyak2446 thanks and I do agree with you- those 2 body shapes are well suited to wide leg jeans. Perhaps Chi has some suggestions on how other other silhouettes can also pull off wide leg jeans.
I Feel the best we can do is FLARE style denim. More modern than skinnies etc, but adds some shape back. Also called "kick" something (which is a smaller angle flare). I don't think this creator looks that good in these pants, even though she is thin. A wider person has no chance! Flare is elongating (at the right length) esp with heels. But even without.
@@squreshi8413 thanks for the suggestion. I have several pairs of that style as well which turn out to be too long, even in petitie size. After altering the length of the jean, the lower portion of the jean that flares out is very short and often looks like its not in proportion to the leg. I find it very difficult as a plus size petite to find flattering pants.
Great outfits! The only things I can't wear is the pumps or slingbacks. I have a wide forefoot with narrow heels and even kitten heels don't work. I've been using booties in a similar color density to the pants. Not quite as elegant as the pumps but not bad.
For a long time, as Chanel prices have risen, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I would be happy to have a kislux as a travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one would have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
I’m 5’ 0” and I wear them all the time! The trick is not to wear them TOO wide - you will know when you put them on. If you wear a slightly cropped wide legged jean, you can wear flats or loafers.
Girl, I know this well as a fellow 5' person myself. One trick I've found is to not wear a wide leg that is wider than your hips, at least for me (I prefer straighter cuts more than flared versions). Then it's a matter of trying on different widths/circumference (opening of the pant leg jean), and finding the look you like best, and remembering the width opening along with your preferred inseam lengths, which can vary depending on which footwear you intend to pair it with. Anything too billowy starts to look bottom heavy and bell-bottom-ish, which is a definite "no" for my personal taste, but again, to each their own, and it's always a matter of personal preference and style you're going for. Good luck!
I love wide legged jeans but I can't pull off too much volume. I look for them to be wideish and it helps if the fabric is lightweight. Denim fabric with some percentage of lyocel is very good for petites.
Can you please advise on what type of bra you wore with the black low neck bodysuit? I’d love to wear that however, my girls are too large to go without support. Help please.
I think these wide legs jeans look great with platform shoes and sneakers and wedge heel shoes and sneakers sneakers not only stiletto heel style shoes like the 70's but probably wedge and platform style shoes and sneakers are not a trend or latest fashion statement in year 2024 and 2025
Can you suggest another style of long coat that would go with wide leg jeans. The style you show unfortunately always looks like a dressing gown on me.
I’m very petite. I try loose buttom it doesn’t look good on me so I go back to legging again… sometimes I wear tight top but don’t wanna go with tight bottom… so what alternative I can replace the leggings ?
A lot of wide leg denim fabrics are too stiff and leg opening not scaled narrow for petites. I look for jeans thinner than denim but thicker than chambray. It usually ends up being luxury denim☹️
I would normally agree with you but I recently made a pair of light blue wide jeans from Madewell (I think that’s the name). It is amazing on my 5”3.5 plump frame. Goes well well with my light blue slightly chunky trainers.
There was a documentary recently where they interviewed very wealthy women. These women are talking about how they no longer buy authentic wallets, but instead choose to buy really good wallets kislux designer bags they love. They then invest the money they save in other things such as real estate, stocks, etc.
Why would someone who has been buying from the brand for years or even decades suddenly have to pay 50-60% more for the exact same item? Inflation cannot justify this. It's like the brand is deceiving the consumer. On kislux , the bags sold are priced lower but of higher quality, so you might as well go there.
Your jeans seem slightly too short imo, also the lighter faded patches are in the wrong place, for example the bottom area and back upper thighs, that's not very flattering. I am always careful when I buy jeans that the distressed bits are subtle and in the right places, sometimes I order 2 or 3 pairs and keep the one with the more flattering distressed bits - not all pairs look the same, in some the distressing is more obvious. Finally, have you considered a s darker wash?
Which is the correct way for women to wear their belt? I always thought we started threading through the right first so the end result will be the end flap is on the right.
Interesting. I’ve always gone ‘counter clockwise’ with the end of the belt to my left. I never thought there was a women’s method vs men’s method. Maybe left handed vs right handed? Or just whatever feels natural to you!
I've always put my belt in clockwise, but I recently noticed that the writing on the inside of the belt is upside-down when I do this. This makes me think I'm doing it wrong. 🤷♀️
I’m five two and wear wide legged pants a lot!
I think they are kind of elegant, like a skirt!
I just subscribed to your Chanell and I am 5'9". Your sense of style goes beyond that so every woman can benefit from it. Thank you!

I am so happy that wide leg pants are back in style. They look so much better.

Dear Chi, thank you for sharing this video!
I am 5 feet tall and on the heavy side and i tried the wide leg just last week and i really loved it. Bought the jeans from American Eagle

And if the pants aren't long enough, the hem often slips under your heel, between your foot and your shoe, if you're wearing mules or slingbacks.
I wonder about this too with wide leg jeans

I’m so glad I held on to my ‘lady’/short blazers when the oversized blazer trend arrived. They are just the right complement to wide leg pants/jeans.

Wide pants are best for rectangle and upside-down triangle body shapes to balance out the wider shoulders

I not liking the cardigans they gap to much buttons are to far apart
That was bothering me as well. I would not go out of the door with so much gaping going on
Also a lot of jobs that is very not appropriate.
I was thinking the same thing. I would need to sew in some small metal sew in snaps on the inside to close those gaps.

Looks like a basic square knot.
Where are the gray and cream cardigans from not linked...longer sleeve than HM one ...more elbow

Can you dress black jeans jacket for a black business jacket? Does the same rule apply.
Love the video but the music is awful
My flat butt does not always work with the wide legs, the pants need to be fitted at the waist and hips
