Absolutely NO distressed jeans for mature women, they look dreadful and hopefully the trend is on its way out, Jeans are the most wonderful versatile piece of clothing that suit all age groups. I love them .
I’ve just turned 60 very recently. I think distressed jeans are for the young. But, each to their own. Thank you for your video, very informative. I used a few of your tips and had lovely comments on how good I looked. ❤
I wear jeans almost always, I’m 68 but I get compliments because how I style them blazers blouses accessories, shoes, and I will never wear sneakers. I love classy looks.
I am from India. Watched your video randomly. Good one 👏 I am under weight very thin but my tummy with 33 inches embarass me. So stopped wearing jeans. What do suggest? Plz share
I'm 68. I've been looking for over 50 years - five zero, half a century - for a pair of jeans that fit me and suit me. And I STILL acquire tops and shoes because they will go with jeans.
I love your voice! Thanks for sharing your lovely *yutulu* bag / wardrobe collection :) I actually love how you store your collection and definitely an inspiration for me in my future home
As I'll turn to 60, I think we are better to wear more elegant even we wear a jeans. As your suggestion can inspire me how to choose and how to match a jeans. Thanks for your sharing.
Hi Ana, nice videos for women over 50+. I am 76 years old petite with pear shaped body. I have three dark color wide legs jeans and not sure what top to wear with them, also, conscious about a bit of tummy. So I have not worn them for a long time. Any suggestions on that? I would appreciate your advice. Thank you in advance.
Hi @rashmishah3957, thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 For your dark wide-leg jeans, I suggest pairing them with a slightly fitted top or knitwear with a bit of stretch, and opt for lighter shades to balance your shape. A structured jacket or a longer, slightly draped cardigan can provide coverage for the tummy area while keeping you comfortable. Hope this helps, and you’ll feel fabulous wearing them again!
I like distressed jeans if I'm going to do something fun like go out dancing. In the recent past, I would wear distressed jeans with some sexy shoes and a funky top. On the other hand, I don't wear distressed jeans much anymore, because I feel like I've grown out of them at my age at 56.
I've got a very low 'apron' overhang tummy from childbirth....I'd love to tuck in a blouse with my jeans, but it looks awful. I just resort to wearing oversized tops x
I'm 60 and this seems like a very old opinion, I have distressed jeans and wear a blazer to Corp offic, wear crocs with my baggie wide leg jeans, wear what u want!!!
I’m 67 and still occasionally wear a pr of distressed jeans. I live in a rural, small town, so we’re not fashionistas out here. I usually wear my jeans with a white tee shirt, or white button up, with flat shoes….loafers or Chanel style ballet flats. Always have on earrings and my sunglasses even if I’m going makeup free.
Glad you watched 🧡I added a list of products in the video description for you to check out!

Distressed jeans are for teenagers. Grown women look much better in nice neat dark jeans.
I agree now
Thanks so much
Never bought the distressed jeans. They make women look poor. They look worn out. Great video.

Hi Ana, thank you for your quick response. I appreciates your suggestions.
I love wearing jeans and pants and would love to tuck my shirt but my tummy is not flat. How should I tackle this issue?
I really don't get the half tuck look, to me it looks like you got dressed in a hurry and forgot to either tuck it in or leave it loose.

No idea why anybody wants to wear jeans that look like they’ve been caught under a lawnmower.
Front tuck looks great from the front. Turn sideways, oops, there ‘s that belly.
When I see ragged and distressed jeans, I think that type of jeans looks worn out and old.

I never cared for Distressed Jean's
How to wear wide leg jeans over 50
I'm 60 and this seems like a very old opinion, I have distressed jeans and wear a blazer to Corp offic, wear crocs with my baggie wide leg jeans, wear what u want!!!
So. If I'm 49 I can wear distressed jeans?
If you feel right in them and feel you look good in them. I wore distressed jeans until just recently at 56.

Polished look put together outfit no stressed look ,mutton done up as lamb , won’t work
Just don't wear them. They do not drape properly. Trousers are elegant and do not crease everywhere.
Distressed jeans does not look good at any age.
jeans have never been comfortable and elegant for me !
Forget the jeans its out of fashion and boring now.
Don't worry what I look like at 50 or over in jeans
