Way to go, Ed! Sometimes it's the little things that don't turn into bigger things that make your day go better. At 2:48 Matt was about to lift the battery out of the tray and Ed immediately went to help. Age brings wisdom and Ed knew that the snug fit of the rubber would cause the tray to lift off and then possibly drop on the floor or Matt's foot. Ed "knows a thing or two because he's seen a thing or two."

Great truck! My wife wants to try welding. I am sure she will prefer it to sewing! Just one thing tho. Not an issue with you just the english language. My 36,000lb M543A2 6x6 has most certainly been off road all its life and used hard. It wouldn't go where yours does for sure and wouldn't work well at all for what you are doing. But it drags out 4x4 farm tractors, and combines, does winch logging. With 380ft of 3/4" cable blocked to well over 250,000lb and a 20k lb rotating crane and is considered a MEDIUM off road recovery vehicle. But i cant think of any other way to put it than you did maybe call it rock crawler wrecker? Great job!
Great special effects putting the wrecker back in the shop! 😂 Hats off to Lizzy for winning the weld-off; you’ve taught her well! I’m glad you all had such a great time at SEMA!! 😎
We were wondering who the beautiful blonde welder was... I don't remember ever seeing Lizzy with her hair down... oh, beating Matt in the Go Kart Race was just a perfect ending ( ,2 sec. margin is a great finish if it's YOUR .2 seconds!!) to a great day!! 🤣👍
You guys in this TH-cam off-road Community remind me of my neighborhood in Culver City California. We built dune buggies in the early days like 50 straight 8 Pontiacs chop down with a short chassis and dual wheels and a 3 inch galvanized pipe for a roll bar. We came a long ways from that building midship Volkswagen 2182s that scream up the Mountainside but that was decades ago. It's a love between the neighbors is what I'm getting at. And the fact that you adopted it into that family I just love that.
my favorite thing about Sema is even though they are different colors and brands is the same exact trucks with the same wheels and tires with all the hard to adjust 4link set ups. Oh and everyone saying "ITS A SEMA BUILD" Thanks for the video.
I love how family is so important to you! I love how you support others in need. Great job on the wrecker! I don't comment very often but we never miss a video thank you for being you as a team. Way to go lizzy on the weld off. It's just been fun watching the channel grow. Love you guys!
These guys are a class act that is no act! They’re sincerely like/love each other. They set a good example how good people behave. Love this family of rescuers !
Ok this video takes things to another level with the editing. Amazing. Honestly, I thought this was going to be kind of boring, but I watch the whole thing and loved it. The rope wrangling at the end was amazing. Good job guys!
God love Ed..he is on his game...he makes sure Matt has a mounting system before he gets to cocky..all the love from Maine Ed..you keep us older body men humble..
I was thinking you will need an integrated remote for all of the winches like on a modern off the shelf heavy wrecker, if you don't want to get them all mixed up. Harbor Freight coming up with the design was a great move all around.
My jaw dropped as the HF guys handed you the yellow case! What a genious solution for a very unique situation. Keeping 7 (seven!) winches under control is no small task... 😲 Btw: thumbs up that the Auto-Home feature of the heavy wrecker already works! When it's finished the wrecker will have a hybrid drive: the petrol engine and 7 electric motors. 😂😁😇🤟
I love Ed signing autographs. Bet he never thought he would be doing that. Congratulations on the build guys. It looks incredible. She is a showstopper.

Can confirm, Matt's Recovery Ropes look great draped over your vehicle at a car show. Some friends and I did a mini car show and I flexed out my truck with wood blocks and attached all my recovery gear and lights. The icing on top was the Matt's Rope draped over the top coming off the rear hitch shackle. And a couple people immediately recognized it as a Matt's Rope, haha. Easy way to find fellow fans.

Great special effects putting the wrecker back in the shop! 😂 Hats off to Lizzy for winning the weld-off; you’ve taught her well! I’m glad you all had such a great time at SEMA!! 😎
“When the student is ready, the teacher will appear...” Tao Te Ching ;)
Also, you gotta love Jamie pointing out how awesome the wrecker looks while Matt's being all self-deprecating. You guys are ace 🇬🇧
I love how family is so important to you! I love how you support others in need. Great job on the wrecker! I don't comment very often but we never miss a video thank you for being you as a team. Way to go lizzy on the weld off. It's just been fun watching the channel grow. Love you guys!
Fantastic job with the winch lines, and the video closer, thank you for the enjoyment as always.
that little skit at the end with the wrecker was really cool, reminded me of snowrunner
It brings tears of joy to see how much y'all have been blessed from your TH-cam channel and adventures!
No one can dispute your creativity, thank you!!!
Out of all those Sema cars and trucks I'd pick the wrecker every time absolutely love the build Matt can't wait to see it in action
I was thinking you will need an integrated remote for all of the winches like on a modern off the shelf heavy wrecker, if you don't want to get them all mixed up. Harbor Freight coming up with the design was a great move all around.
Looks like a great time was had. Awesome of Harbor Freight to give the switch setup for the wenches . Lizzie with her hair down 👍👍👍
My jaw dropped as the HF guys handed you the yellow case! What a genious solution for a very unique situation. Keeping 7 (seven!) winches under control is no small task... 😲
Btw: thumbs up that the Auto-Home feature of the heavy wrecker already works! When it's finished the wrecker will have a hybrid drive: the petrol engine and 7 electric motors. 😂😁😇🤟
Agreed!
It's so cool and clean. They didn't have to go out of their way like that, but they did and it will elevate the build just a little bit more.
I can't wait to see the Beast on the job👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love Ed signing autographs. Bet he never thought he would be doing that. Congratulations on the build guys. It looks incredible. She is a showstopper.
HEY! Good morning everybody and thumbs UP to Matt's Off Road Recovery ! 👍💯
'Morning!
Sema, shiny stuff, shenanigans (did you eat as much as the Fab rats crew.....), more shenanigans, lots of fun.....then you get to the REAL stuff. Always great when you use your platform to help with a great cause. Heading over to donate now. ALWAYS great content here.
There are few that are as deserving of being at SEMA - You are willing to entertain any idea that gets the job done faster, better, or more efficiently. Very open minded and everyone sees it. Love your content, Matt and all...
You guys are such a blessing to so many people. It's no wonder you are being so blessed in return. Well done!
I can't help but wish there was something I could do to help you help others.
I'm a disabled veteran who refuses to be kept down-- I fabricate truckie stuff, I do firewood, I build things out of wood... I hurt all the time, but I will not lay down and die just yet.
You are a HUGE encouragement to many many people out here just like me.
Please don't ever stop!!!
Lemme know if I ever win an all-expenses-paid trip to beautiful downtown Hurricane, Utah for the amazing opportunity to engage in the latest fabrication endeavors on THE WRECKER, the chance of a lifetime to SWEEP up and take out the trash at MORR, and meet and greet LARGER-THAN-LIFE celebrities like Matt, Lizzy, Jaime, Ed, the puppies, assorted neighbors and barn cats.
Thank you all for being so amazing and committed to family and community.
Thank you my friend for placing your self in the " line of fire" too bring the freedom and safety that allows all those buitiful soul's too be safe and secure.. . GOD bless you my friend and please God bless your loved one's also. "Thank you deeply and sincerely" from me way down under here in New Zealand,💌👍
The auto home feature made me smile a happy little smile, thank you.
21:43 SNOWRUNNER IRL. Wish winching was that easy in real life. Love the video!
The winches are more amazing than I could have ever imagined:)
Love these folks, always always helping someone !!!!!!!
This is awesome. I have been following you for almost 2 years and I made my day to see the reception you got. So well deserved. My favorite part was seeing Ed sign autographs--made me a little emotional. Love seeing you living your best life!
Very cool ! I LOVE YOU GUYS !!!
To be honest, we did not think you and Lizzy would be be at the shop last Monday morning,. Thank you Shannon and Lizzy for taking time to show us around. After seeing what you guys went through at SEMA ! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!
Thanks again
Win and Pam
I'm speechless 😳 " Its just good I can leave a comment !!! That is overwhelming !! I had tears watching Edd signing autographs , I couldn't take my eyes off the wonderful people you all are. I know I'll never get to SEMA but it just wouldn't be the same without you all any how !!!. I can just stay home and live it all vicariously through you . Thank you deeply for your time and effort to bring us all along with you !!! This was life changing for me ✨🥰✨. Big love to you all from me "way down under" here in New Zealand.
What a wonderful gesture from the Harbor Freight people; designing a custom device for Matt, but also a prototype that they can sell to other people as well! Innovation +++
And a big congrats for you helping ladies who've been humiliated and abused, God bless you!
I'm hurting all over this morning!!! But y'all always make my Day!! Thank y'all
You guys!!!!! Yall have no idea how proud i am to be a very early subscriber to this channel and see how far and how big this channel has become! Its amazing to see!! Everything you guys are doing for people in need : priceless. What an amazing great bunch of people you all are. Every video ive been watching since day 1 put a smile on my face and totally makes my day so I cant wait to see what you have for us in the future ✌
You guys are great! What you do in giving back in helping victims of domestic violence is commendable! The content in your builds and all you share with your subscriber is well worth watching! I know it's not always easy, facing deadlines etc. The stress can take it's toll, keep making a little time for yourselves to unwind especially when there's a million things going on at the same time! The making of the magical winches was funny to watch! Great video today...
What a great video of Matt's off road recovery team and family enjoying SEMA! And of course Harbor freight hooked Matt up with an awesome remote control for the 7 winches on the biggest wrecker! It's such a joy watching Matt, Jaymie, Lizzy, Ed, Tom Tom and the rest of the crew enjoying their visit to SEMA. Broke the Morrvair? Not good but Matt and his team will fix it. Where's Trevor?
The wrecker looks awesome! I can't wait to see it in action.
Love the way you always include Ed ... and now you've made him famous
Getting to SEMA is a really great accomplishment. Congratulations Matt and the MORR crew!!
Here I sit on my 57th birthday and I always enjoy watching but today was extra special with your Midnight Morrvair fundraiser.
Thank You so much Matt, Jamie, Lizzie and the whole Morrvair family for being the biggest utube family that cares.
I agree whole heartedly with Karl. Sending Love, Respect and Prayers to all in need that find Matt's family and help.
You all are in my prayers
Hoka Hey
Bless you guys. Who would have ever thought that this show could bring so much joy to its viewers and also help so many people along the way. My day gets a little better when I get to watch MORR, and it’s my birthday so a very good way to start the day.
Happy birthday
Happy Birthday from the UK!!
happy birthday
Why can't I like this video more than once? Best channel on YT, your generosity and hearts for those in need is seriously one of the best things about the people at Matt's Offroad. Love you guys!
I find myself smiling through half your videos by myself like a goofball. :) Thank you, MORR crew.
The winch scene was awesome Matt and can’t wait to see the heavy wrecker when she’s done
