I am at home because of COVID19. The Tv was gone since 3 weeks. Thanks to you and your amazing video now it works fine. And It will work with a car battery too. When everything will turn normal again I will turn that it in a camping tv. Very good job indeed.

It is good solution but it would be much more interesting if you find the main problem. I saw your reply You couldn't find faulty place but I think it was possible. Because PSU (power supply unit) is an impulse unit you should check active elements such transistor key (usualy Mosfet IRFZ series) on the HOT side, PWM generator and power adjustment loop (transoptor). Also shotkey diodes . Of course schematic diagram would be helpful but (with some PSU repairs experience) it could be repaired . It is - simple construction for repair if you know how impulse PSU works. Congrats. for the invention - it works :) .
I've got the same exact issue, I believe, with a different revision but similar board overall. At first glance it did look like it was a diode and a 0.33@2W resistor to ground. After replacing both components all voltages and the pulses on the transformer (input) were fine. But 0V on the output. Not shorted on the input or output. Injecting voltage on the cold side worked fine. You can't find these switching transformers unless from identical donor boards. Its either replacing the whole board or injecting voltage
I have the same problem but a little different PHILIPS smart TV model 32PHH4509/88 and my only worry is TV uses 25W(57Wmax) and ADAPTER 12V/4A gives max 48W. is that a problem or will it work thank zou
Hi, i like alternate repair : this tv don't go to the bin. but can't really find the fail of this board ? maybe need service manual of philips ? philips don't want to help the earth ?
I have the same problem with my Toshiba Model 55u5863da where the light flashes green red and no picture but I can not find any Software on my Computer maybe cause Im in Germany or to old and dumb….PLEASE HELP::::MAYBE someone can send me a link or something….it would make my day … the TV is only 6 month old but lost receipt due to moving … again PLEASE HELP
Quick repair for yourself, e.g. to the workshop or CCTV but not for the customer. It's too unprofessional. You should check and replace main IC on primary side. This cost approx 1$. Now in standby mode you have a ~4W power loss. All in one board. That looks cheap shitty TV.
@@antasasas Включал адаптер серым кабелем с розетки и телек заводился. А с пульта не видел. Оптопара в этом режиме не будет срабатывать на отключение с пульта, управляется с пульта будет а выключаться только выдергиванием сетевого из розетки.
this is not a soultion y u dont repair orignal power supply this adapter is not for long time because ampair not match with company fitted power supply

how do you tell that object to press like a pen on the solder pins after you heat the solder with the soldering iron?

23:17 - A good way and a solution to the problem, so on this model of TV is enough to throw 12V at 4 Amps
