- so the TL:DR on Gateron Snow Rabbit is:
It’s a switch commissioned by Acid & Co.
So this is basically a Gateron Smoothie but with a 4mm Total Travel, so It’s not a long pole. Also it comes with a different spring and customized lubing points. So the prelube spots on this switch is slightly different from other Gateron switches.
The ones I’m trying out here is the pre production one. It still has the usual Gateron prelube spots. So I expect that the production one is gonna be way of an improvement from the ones I’m using on this vid.
Cause my only complaint with this switch at that time was just the prelube.
and for me, so far out of all the “Full POM” switches that I’ve tried.
This is the one that’s closes to NK Creams
but, a lot cheaper and without the scratch or effort of tuning a NK Cream switch.
But the sound of those two is still different from one another. I still love my NK Creams as well hahaha. But I can still see myself using both switches.
I think this switch is good for those who wanted to try out something like NK Creams but without spending too much.
Okay I already talk way too much.
This is gonna be the vendors for the Gateron Snow Rabbit Switch:

how did u get that engraving on the weight of the keyboard? it looks really good!
It’s not mine. It’s the Acid&Co’s owner board. Also the board is a special unit for vendors, that’s why the engraving is different than the others hahaha
👀👍!
pretty nice, and like you said, it could be a cheaper and smoother alternative for nk creams for some people.
ikr, are you planning on getting this as well?
@@Kw1spyboards probably not, since I already have the nk dream creams, which are just nk creams that have been actuated 600k times by kailh. And I'm try8ng to save money for spyder tkl rn.
great vid! how do these switches compare to the Gateron Summertimes in terms of sound?
I’ve only try out summertimes once. But it felt like snow rabbit is louder than summertimes. I could be wrong though.
how loud is the switch compared to your ye olde mx blacks?
hi utoy! I didn’t have the chance to compare it side by side but for me the loudness is about the same. I don’t feel like mx black is a lot more louder than this or the other way around. I could be wrong though hahaha I’ve only tested in on the Alas as well. Hope the answer helps.
@@Kw1spyboards thanks for the answer, can you confim if its a rail or a pole bottom out? when you press down do you feel it wiggle in a circular motion or only up or down?
wiggling in a circular motions suggest a pole bottom out (similar to long poles) and only up and down will be rail bottom out (similar to mx blacks)
@UTOOOOOOOY when I try it out It feels and sounds like rail bottom out, I asked the Acid&co. owner he also said rail bottom out as well. But I’m gonna double check it again when I got the production switches.
What micro you use? The sound are very reality
I’m not sure how does it sound realistic but thanks hahaha I didn’t do any sound editing to it though. The mic is Samson C01u pro if I remember correctly.
@@Kw1spyboards What is the keyboard chord called? I have 3 different ones but I keep seeing this one in your video where it connects in the center
@mr.bluesky4402 you mean the cable? I’m not sure what’s the name cause I bought it from a friend. All I know this is custom made from my local cable maker.
are these pole bottom out or rail bottom out? iirc creams are 4mm pole bottom out
this are like the reguler 4mm non long poles, so it’s rail bottom out
@@Kw1spyboards thanks for the reply, we truly need more rail bottom out switches in the sea of long poles market today
yeah highly agree on this one, It’ll be nicer if we had more new non long pole switches
