Hobby has truly come a long way, I remember when the NK65 EE first came out and that was considered one of the best budget boards at the time. It also went OOS in like 5 minutes for the first drop 😅
I appreciate how you include historical context and comparisons to other boards/companies in your video. It makes your reviews much more interesting and informative as someone who is pretty casual to the hobby
really enjoyed your take on this! I have both a bakeneko 60 and 65, the 65 definitely feels stiffer, I think it’s that blocker that’s really doing the o ring a disservice. That said, happy to see Neo designing around this and offering gummy o ring in the first place. I really hope to see more gummy o ring boards available in the future. I’d love a gummy o ring mounted 75 that’s in between the freebird and Tomo.
I've been on the lookout for an alice layout keyboard for a while as I've yet to add one to my collection... I think the Neo is going to be the one! Another great video man, one of the very select few youtubers I hit the alarm bell for
I got a red with copper weight FR4 plate and put Pyga on it with KTT Darlings. Perfect clacky board for me... I'm so tempted to keep it though it was meant to be a Christmas gift.
Nice vid mate, always bangers, love the history-keeping One note is your audio is always kind of quiet. Often can't hear even on max if a fan is on or something
The 50 Duro Gummy is def a lot stiffer than the gaskets, but I bought a 30 Duro as an extra and I think that it strikes the perfect balance between having bounce and flex during typing and a pretty good sound. Really enjoy this video!
It's so interesting seeing the evolution of the budget market since the qk65 was released
i love what neo/qk/owlabs has been doing. best thing we can have for the future of the hobby

Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed!
deep dive in the budget switches(both tactile and linear) would be nice

Definitely agree with this!
Still waiting for updates for mine (bought through ashkeeb), and these video reviews of this board is what keeps me alive welp

For sure, it’s looking to be a nice one! Thanks so much, genuinely means a lot!!

I'm really amazed that this keyboard can be used plateless. Hearing how it sounds from other creators, I'm increasingly tempted to grab one...

Thank you! Ah got you, will keep that in mind for future, cheers!
I think it would be cool if you also did a cycle7 video when people get hold of the international units
For sure!

Would you make a review for the cycle7? :)

I freakin love this board :)
What keycap set is this?
I think it's GMK Red Alert Base kit + OG Numbers

You shouldn’t have a problem with Mac compatibility!
day 3 of asking to cover the history of renders in the hobby
