I wish Christopher Lee could have played 007 himself. He was actually an intelligence officer during and following WWII, and could be genuinely menacing in films. I appreciate Moore taking the character into a lighter direction for the 70's, with Smokey and the Bandit, blaxploitation and Star Wars tributes reflecting the times.

Connery will always be my Bond, but I have a spot in my heart for Sir Roger Moore, probably because I knew him already from the TV series “The Saint.” Moore’s era was “lighter” than Connery’s, with more humor. Pretty sure you’ve already checked these out, but - the car flip was real and Count Duku was the SW name. Christopher Lee made 22, mainly horror, movies with Peter Cushing (Grand Moff Tarken in SW ep4) during the 60’s and 70’s. You should pick out one or two for a reaction.
Lol Sean Connery and Roger Moore were no spy's only Christopher Lee in WW 2 as a SAS British intelligence and Nazi Hunter interesting background And he was greeted with open arms when making the movie 'The howling 2' in Romania I believe he helped liberate from the Nazis
Christopher Lee was a very tall man at 6'5 no wonder he played monster's in the British hammer film's with Peter Cushing Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy to perfection. No contest !!
