You're absolutely right, I just checked all the fates kids I had and sure enough they all said it. Granted I don't have all of them and unfortunately Velouria decides to be a party pooper and say "It's nice to meet you" instead. (I still love her tho)
@@idk-bl5nt I checked my own barracks, cannot confirm Ophelia as I don't have her. Shiro, Selkie, and Midori are also party poopers with Nice to Meet You but the rest of them say it exactly right at the start.
@@goldencyclone4984 Ophelia does actually say it although it's a bit different she says "I suppose I should say it's good to meet you" and it's actually not at the start either, a shame for everyone else though.
@@idk-bl5nt I'm guessing it's a matter of preference on whether they say good or nice, they probably care more about saying the message over the exact words. I also love Velouria very much too (my favorite Fates girl), and I'm very happy that she actually says it in her base form *and* her New Years form too (Selkie doesn't though..)

@@xenoemblem8422 there were two festival DLC's that, I believe, focused on character development between the adults units and their child units. One for hoshido's units and one for Nohr's units.
The rewards for competing these were the hero brand and the Lord brand, that would let female units promote into a nerfed version of Lucina's lord class from awakening, and promote males into Marth's class, the Lodestar.
Unfortunately, those DLC's never released outside Japan, so the western copies could only (legitimately) get one copy of these seals per save by competing the "Before Awakening" DLC for the first time.
I'm still kinda dirty about them not releasing to this day, simply because they didn't get around to translating all the dialogue. No official reason was ever released as to why they didn't, but people think that fates was abandoned so they could focus on Fire Emblem Heroes.

Fates was fun, there was a whole community of people trying to squeeze every little bit of fun out of it, and it introduced a lot of fun ideas to the franchise.
I agree. I hate that its become underrated because of a bad story. Everything else was pretty much great.

@@kliffalibur3497 Its without a doubt the most fun 3DS FE to play, shame that people ignore the game part of the game when remembering it. And this is coming from a story guy. (granted Fates story can be fun if you don't take it seriously, its basically like your typical seasonal anime harem)

Great thing about heroes is that they reference Heirs with "Nice to meet you." With "Its good to meet you." In their summon quotes

Do you know who's child parents is who? Cause I'm still having a struggling pain of trying to find which one's it. Revelation relationship is a huge mess so I'm sticking with the Conquest ships, and Birthright ships.

Consider yourself lucky, Ramzaes. There was actually ANOTHER DLC that was never localized for this game. It was a Children's Festival DLC, with special conversations for different parents and child setup. And that includes EVERY POSSIBLE parent and child setup.

Yeah the final world is explained really poorly I won’t bother to explain it again here unless anybody cares but it’s a really good story buried behind massive walls of bad writing.
Pretty much how I feel. I've managed to figure it out by virtue of being *VERY* persistent, something that... not many people had the opportunity to.

@@bhipus6570 Sure why not I’ll keep it brief. There are many different worlds of fates each with their own deeprealms separated by the astral void. The ancient dragons like anakos could traverse this void on some level and created the dragons gate and the portals to deeprealms to do as such, but couldn’t get far enough to reach the mirror but very slightly different realities. When anakos killed Corrin and everybody else except shigure in 1 world he reached very height of his power within his astral room the final map takes place on by killing everyone in the entire world and using their souls. With this newfound power anakos went searching to these alternate worlds looking for one where he won the ancient dragon war and all of humanity loved him as their savior and protector. However because anakos in every world where he won or survived the war fused with an ancient power in Valla to become the Ruler/lord of the dead humanity always rejected him an he always had to isolate himself for a long list of reasons like damage to his mind by being lord of the dead (he solved the being a dragon problem by making a super powered dragonstone for his power which is Azura/shigure’s pendant and guiding the souls of the dead to rest in the astral heaven instead of suffering in his army for all of eternity. In addition in every world anakos’s original personality and mind gets corrupted and also killed and taken over by the lord of the dead. Whenever anakos found an world he didn’t like (all of them) he used his newfound power to destroy it and add its people to his armies of the dead and used them to destroy the next world until he destroyed every single world and deeprealms except his own permanently. However in these alternate deeprealms a parent of each 2nd gen characters sacrifices their lives long enough for their child to escape through the portal, but because their home world is destroyed it takes them to the closest thing it can the final world that anakos is residing at (also maybe 1 set of deeprealms connected to the final world survived maybe not either way everyone in them died). From this point onwards the story of heirs of fate takes place. When the heirs of fate win and end anakos for good and all shigure thinks they will all be sent back to their own worlds when truly killing the lord of the dead and freeing his undead army sets things back to the way they were but he is wrong since killing anakos can only save the lives under his control and not bring back worlds that have been shredded to atoms. In addition the memories of the heirs of fate were of greater value than a human life and so even though they lost most of the memory they got to keep some and they are all in the same world with shigure who kept ALL of his memories because he values them more than his own life. Shigure then meets up with the heirs of fate in the final world and fills in the gaps of their memories with the “story he will never forget” including telling the story to both kanas at once. Also the destruction of anakos ruins the dragons gate forever so the awakening trio are stuck in their new world with no way back. In conclusion at the end of fates the grand failure of revelations and naive optimism kills countless people and ends countless lives but the heirs of fate succeeded where their parents failed to save one last world where they all live together remembering only what they have gained and not what was lost since memories cannot be reclaimed from the astral sea. (Also the reason Shigure success at doing in anakos and permanently removing the influences of anakos from the dead is because he sings the ORIGINAL verse in their original key as done by King Cadros who had to transpose the song so his female descendant could sing it and then azura accidentally unknowingly transposed it back) And that’s the short version. Make sense?

ZA BEANO Quick super short version then explanation: birthright=canon at least 20+ times, conquest canon at least 20+ times, failed birthright/conquest probably canon but we don’t know, successful revelation lore evidence suggests it is midly probably it never happened, failed revelations happened exactly once, heirs of fate happened exactly once the only true ending of fates and the only ending that is really the end. In long form well one world compromised of both Valla and the above world. Everybody except the awakening trio and male corrin gets a good ending but at the cost of trillions of lives that nobody remembers. Anakos was mad because nobody appreciated the fact that he literally sacrificed his own soul to save humankind and prevent them from going extinct because otherwise the dragons would’ve wiped them out never caring about the fact the Cadros cared because he is really dead. The heirs are sorta stuck in one world but at least the Kana’s and Shigure prefer it that way. Here is every characters fate: The awakening trio are probably content to live with their kids but the can never go home. Male Corrin is implied to maybe be suffering from severe trauma knowing that he not only killed thousands in his ignorance but that he is also not a very good father to his daughter and that there is literally a better version of him who took the hard path he was afraid of and managed to save lives and maybe the deaths of trillions are on the hands of a dead alternate him but he probably is mostly in ignorant bliss except for the being a naive slaughterer bit and the literally better version of him and the fact that his daughter is stronger than him physically and emotionally and prefers to spend time with her alternate reality less emotionally stable male counterpart. His emotional stability, lack of creative planning, and chronic lying all really come back to bite him. Anakos actually gets what he deserves for what he did eternal peace and freedom from his lifelong torment. Shigure gets to keep all his memories and live with his friends and be haunted by immortal ghost azura so he gets it pretty good. Azura gets to watch over her loved ones for the rest of eternity as a ghost which we are told is a worse fate than becoming a constellation but I don’t see it. Lilth turns into a constellation after a constant painful struggle. The Kanas support each other growing up as semi immortal dragons with second cousin Shigure hanging out with them and jogging their memories and as implied by their other endings they never go crazy and live out long and happy lives (best lords). The rest of the second gen cast gets reunited with their parents that they barely got to meet growing up with most of their own memories being severally mangled and their childhood memories being entirely removed of detail but with Shigure’s help they can fill in the blanks about how this crazy world where they are somehow better fighters than their heroic parents came to be. The first gen cast has the awkward feeling that all those people they were tricked into killing are now alive again and have families and kids and also there are two Corrins and two Kanas running around and a ghost Azura and the threat that has constantly overwhelmed them is dead. It’s obviously going to be a lot for some of them to take in and adapt to but their kids are there to help them out and help them get over their various prejudices and the fact that the people they killed are back alive and remember killing them and are told everyone was turned into zombies who tried to kill their children but that was actually alternate timeline them clearly a lot to take in. Garon still dead Mikoto still dead as she died pre world leaping same applies to lots of people who never survived rainbow sage is still dead etc. Thousands of innocent civilians in the neutral countries and near the borders who died in both routes and a lot of nameless soldiers are still just dead because they died in every timeline. Izana and scarlet brought back to life and probably very very confused having a tougher time than most of the first gen cast. The armies of the dead: all the original members finally get to die normally but all the people who only died post war by world annihilating aka everyone had no clue they were brought back form the dead in an alternate timeline to serve Anakos in death. Finally how in the world did all this happen? Look I could tell you but this is getting long and I want to sleep when you respond again tell me if you are interested or if you want something else (which may require backstory to explain)(The entire story of fates is actually a buildingsroman for both Kanas and Shigure and when you look at it that way it would be one of the best buildingsromans ever if you didn’t have to read through piles of poorly written backstory for every single minor character to get to the good stuff. That’s just my opinion though unlike most of what I’ve written here which is the actual lore of fates.)

Have you tried 13 sentinels: aegis rim? It’s a very story based game and plays similar to visual novels but with more interaction with another mode of only gameplay. It’s such an amazing story that I think definitely needs more attention

Something I don't understand is why they sell you DLC for grinding when it's almost completely redundant in Birthright and Revelations. Conquest has limited resources of course, but I still feel like it should be a free update.

What's wrong with 3H DLC? The 3DS games I get, they were all similarly numerous and insignificant, and ones with story were generally BAD stories. But Cindered Shadows was pretty good, I thought. Pretty happy they didn't do the same approach with 3H as the 3DS games, just making 1 good DLC over a bunch of trash ones.
@@ethanmontgomery6132 3H's paid DLC was handled awfully. There were 4 waves which you had to buy everything or nothing, and then wait months for the only decent non-filler part to show up and then it was incredibly lacking in gameplay and content. They made 25$ feel really expensive somehow.

Fun fact: in museum Melee, you can trap the boss at the left most chest, with another chest above that. When they go to grab it, just make sure you put someone with 1 range who would kill the boss in the way. Not 1 space away, 2 spaces specifically. If you do it right the boss stops moving and you're free to go around with lock touch and kill/steal everything, before returning to the boss and killing it.

DLC has some good ideas, but why on Hoshido is it soooo convoluted!? Chrom appearing is kinda cool but unnecessary. The children DLC is also kinda cool... But it's such a mess my goodness!

funny enough fates was my first fire emblem game ever, it got me into the series and to this day its still my favorite of them all. Three houses only lost out because of how much i hate demitri.

ngl, I wasted so much time grinding on the coliseum to get the Great Club which basically has a higher crit rate, I was grinding for my girl Scarlet since her special perk allows her to hit critials when she's on low health plus with the fact it was I believe +5 version, it was nasty

I did the DLC for this game. Still, despite its horrible writing when it came to.... story... its still by far my favorite Fire Emblem Game so far. Awakening may have the best story in my opinion but nothing beats the complete discarding of the weapon degradation system that comes with many of the other games. Plus, I needed Anna in order to pair everyone up equality so I could get all of the kids.
*looks at all the other Corn sexuals.* Really only stinks for Conquest since Flora and Anna are the only Corn sexuals. Still I think the only corn lovers that are worth it for M!Corrin is Reina and Anna due to the amazing stats they grant plus being early entries in the routes and abled to still be relevant for the rest of the game. Flora isn't bad, but late and needing alot of work to be good.
Though personally I found Rinkah with a Dragon rider aux class Corrin is really good since she can go from Oni Chieftain in Maliq Knight and become a monster on the battlefield with the combined skills and stat distribution lining up to excel at the class, with Kana having the skills from Maliq and Oni Chieftain to pick from without grinding those classes and risking issues with stat distribution messing up.
Corrin and Nyx are also pretty good if you wanna maximize Kana's Dragon and Magic usage since you can get Lifetaker from Dark Knight and Vengeance from sorcerer making Kana a roaming monster who doesn't stop healing.
