So how do you know if it's a fungi? I think many women are suffering and misdiagnosed, told they have Painful Bladder Syndrome or Interstitial Cystitis when it's an infection! They are not prescribing antibiotics for long enough and fungal UTI is never considered! I'm in the UK btw.

Yes you are right. Improper diagnosis is main issue with UTI in female. Urine sample and vaginal swab can help better
