How dare you assert that He created a room for his beloved creations to burn and tortured forever, while he Loves everyone, no matter what they did... except the Canaanites of course, because those were just the worst! ;)
My dear, I hope you know that when God put Adam in heaven (Adam is not one person, not a man, but Adam is a group of people, he is a stage of our development), He taught him everything. He taught him logical thinking. He taught him to complete the chain of thinking from the concrete to the abstract. How do we extract results from their causes and premises? God is merciful. He did not throw Adam into the experiment without preparation. Adam is a chain of development for the previous savage humans. God adjusted him through the angels = the lords. The spine was adjusted and straightened after its bending, and the hands were freed. I hope you compare the hands of a monkey with the hands of a human to know how Adam evolved. Likewise, the chromosomes were divided into male and female. Adam transformed into an entity equipped and trained for his mission in populating the earth and achieving peace upon it. God did not punish Adam when he ate from the tree, my master. God loves Adam, so He gave him a chance to conduct his own experiment to get to know God. Each one of us takes the same journey. We search for God to know and love Him. Unfortunately, some of us reject God and reject the truth. My dear, I hope you think about the two verses. The two verses that I have sent down to you from two distant places. The first one blames man (O man! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord? He who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? In whatever form He willed, He assembled you.) And it asks every human being: Why do you reject God after He bestowed His blessings upon you, developed you, and made you conscious and thoughtful after you were nothing at all? My beloved, I will quote to you verses from Surat Al-Insan (Has there not been over man a period of time when he was not a thing worth mentioning? (1) Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We might try him; and We made him hearing and seeing. (2) Indeed, We guided him to the way, whether he (3) Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a Blaze. (4) Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup whose mixture is of Kafur. (5) As you can see, there is a reward for the winners and a punishment for the criminals and corruptors. Just as a student who neglected his studies was punished and failed, another student who worked hard and studied was rewarded and succeeded and won as well. I hope that the translation is clear about the meaning of the verses. Finally, please think about these verses that respond to the mockery of those who came before you and rejected the logic of God. They mocked the light of God for humanity, my beloved and the light of my eyes, the noble, loving person, Muhammad. They said, “He is crazy and a magician. He is insignificant and has no business. How dare he say that there is a God and that there is another life?” After death? They said, "When we die and become dust, will we be resurrected?" Indeed, this is an amazing thing. (Does man think that he will be left neglected? (36) Was he not a drop of emitted semen? (37) Then was he a clinging clot, then He created and proportioned it. (38) Then He made from it the two mates, the male and the female. (39) Is He not able to give life to the dead? (40))

The 'god' of the Bible spends the vast majority of the Old Testament chastising his people (usually via his 'prophets' but often personally) for worshipping other gods. In fact, he spends an extraordinarily large amount of time and effort punishing them for not showing proper worship and deference to HIM.
Claiming that there would be dire consequences for those who choose to ignore religious leaders is a means by which those religious leaders can make themselves appear to be essential. "You must worship god, or else god will send you to hell" is total hogwash. I have no reason to believe that the human persona can survive brain death, thus no divine retribution is even possible.
The ‘punishment’ only happens once you’re dead (and so there’s nobody to witness it, which is suspiciously handy). The god of the OT was extremely talkative and had no problem smiting numerous peoples for even the smallest indiscretion. Now, nothing. It’s almost as if if it were made up 🤔

Really don't know if "Evil" is the correct word. Petty and uncaring come to mind. Also, God wanted Abraham(?) to sacrifice his son as a way to show his love for God. Seems rather uncalled for for a God to demand that people would sacrifice their off spring. Maybe being a supreme deity is an insecure job, title, and/or role. I'm trying to find faith, something that says, " I Care". Unfortunately, I've found nothing.
I would most definitely use the word "evil." Only a megalomaniacal psychopath would condemn beings to an eternity in Hell the moment their born, UNLESS they accept an arbitrary set of ridiculous rules and suspend their reason and logical faculties. That's so evil it's almost incomprehensible!
"God endowed Eve with the ability to choose between right and wrong" Really? Did god tell you that? Did you get a video? Or was he too busy making a tree the fruit of which was going to teach Eve about right and wrong if she ate the fruit? Not a good start telling everyone something you could not possibly know and which goes against Genesis. Wake up and smell reality: How could god give Eve the ability to choose between good and evil if it hadn't already created evil and shown it to her? Cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo....... Here's the thing: There is NO POSSIBLE SCENARIO where a god could set up a test of choosing good or evil where that god would obtain a right to punish Eve for choosing evil. Simply put: In order to do that god would need to commit a wilfully evil act of making Eve suffer (which your your god did by creating the temptation of the tree and telling Eve [innocent and without sin] she must not eat the fruit in order to create suffering to entrap her.) God continued down the same path by wilfully not giving Eve [innocent and without sin] the information required to make a considered decision. (God denied Eve the knowledge of death, punishment, lies, deception, temptation, right and wrong and the list goes on i.e. everything she wouldn't know until eating the fruit. Otherwise Eve wouldn't be innocent and without sin) God also wilfully withheld the full extent of the punishment as we see it on earth since first sin. The bottom line here is: As per my first statement, god could not possibly gain a right to punish Eve for failing a test which was a wilfully evil test created by itself to entrap her. Do you doubt me? There are up to 4 billion people on earth who know of the Adam and Eve story, who have the knowledge of the consequences that followed and have the knowledge required to make a considered good versus evil decision, how many of those do you think would eat the fruit? None. The god of the bible created all evil and is directly responsible for it all. (Next time, engage your brain before speaking.)

thats exactly what i was thinking. its 'cannon' that she gains the ability to differentiate AFTER that event. God himself says "Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever."
@@m.n.executor1902 Yes, that god was threatened by them possibly becoming wise and powerful. The same thing happens at the tower of Babel episode, where that god was again threatened that humans would gain power. It was only after eating the fruit that they would die (though it lied by saying that they'd die that dame day). Before they ate, there was no death, no predator/prey, no sickness, so it was before they ate, that they'd live forever.
They had more wisdom that many today even knew what death was without experiencing it because of their perfection however because of Eve desire to be more she got deceived and Adam could not let her go so he fell as well and they learned the difference between God and Satan the Good and Evil

Example is not words, nor one true action. On top of that the church, as just about anyone can see if they really look closely, is simply greed for gold or its equivalent. I do believe in a higher power, be it God or be it something else. There must be some type of intelligence for all of this! Think about the possibilities, > I have been pondering the concept of God, for many years. I started Life as a Catholic. Became interested in many other religions, Judaism, Hinduism, Shintoism, and others, since I couldn’t find God there. I came back to Catholicism at my birth church but not for long. The claim God put forward through his/its agents had been he made us in His image and in His likeness. Finally, I wonder that God might have a mean streak because he created the people leading all our countries. They are certainly Evil and Criminal with much etcetera’s to follow? Image and likeness, you know what I mean? However, after a lifetime of curiosity both in God and strange things, happening around us. I have decided. That there is as much proof, of God as there is of aliens. Something to remember though. Absence of evidence is never evidence of absence. My query is it possible that beings 750,000years (more advanced) than we are, could have traveled here and had done what we believe as God-like things in our history. In the mid 1920’s an airplane landed in the mid-western United States the natives who had never seen an aircraft began to worship the plane. Please do not quote scripture to me, that would be like saying Puma Punku is where aliens came to earth. Here we can try to add a little bit of math to the situation. It appears that most people are in agreement that the universe is about 13.787 billion years old. The Earth Is 4 billion years old. Now, we make some utterly ridiculous assumptions that the Earth has intelligent life. I personally am not going there since the definition of planetary intelligent life requires all people on a planet to be at the top of the ladder. So, let us subtract four billion from 13.787billion. This equals nine decimal seven-eight-seven billion years. Nine-ish billion years / 750,000 years equals 13,049.3. So, for nine billion years after the big bang there (could have) been 13,049.3 groups of highly intelligent and powerful beings. These beings could be creating all sorts of things. Over time, things could very simply interest them. These are my thoughts. There is always the possibility that I am mistaken. But there is still the chance that you could be since there is (zero absolute proof) for either side!

Yet to her own, she is a queen who sits upon My throne and has taken to herself My authority, Perverting My Word and changing My Commandments As she appoints kings and princes in her own name, Each with names of blasphemy upon their heads, So-called holy fathers who shall go into perdition with her... And yet to those against her, she is the beast. Yet I tell you the truth, all are deceived. For her power and authority come from the beast, which atop she sits. For she has many names of blasphemy, and all her works are an abomination before The Lord. She is indeed a harlot, and her adulteries are many. Behold, she is also like the great whore who sits upon many waters, who has corrupted the earth with her fornications. And like the false prophet she spews perverse and bitter doctrine, leading many into false worship, even to the committing of fornication with the pagan and the heathen by all her filthy traditions! And like the beast, she has shed the blood of My servants throughout her generations, and has not ceased from opening her mouth to speak great things and blasphemies with a practiced and lying tongue, by which she has deceived many. Therefore, I must take My people out of her! Behold, I shall snatch them from her very breast! For she is also like Babylon, adorning herself with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornications.[4] Thus says The Lord to the deceptive harlot, to the mother of all fornications: Woe, I say to you! Even three times, woe! For the atheist shall have it far better than you, when the wrath of the great and dreadful God has come! For when they seek forgiveness, they shall surely find it. Yet woe to you who blaspheme the Spirit; from you forgiveness has fled away![5] Behold, destruction waits for you as you continue to tread the wide path![6] For you believe yourself to be a glorious vine, yet your roots are full of rottenness, a vine of deceit with many tendrils spreading forth abomination! Behold, you see yourself as a sovereign nation, as the mother church, universal, and yet you willingly go into captivity and hold fast in your rebellion! Therefore, I shall make you a desolation and an astonishment, an object of horror and hissing; I shall strip you bare! And behold, you shall become an island, a most desolate place amidst the nations. No more shall anyone draw near to you, nor shall any attempt to pass through. For all shall keep their distance for fear of your punishment. Every traveler shall go roundabout, horrified at the smoke of your burning. For thus says The Lord: I have set you apart for judgment! I have separated you out for death, for sorrow and for famine, until the fire of My wrath consumes you! For you have caused My beloved to depart from Me; you have turned them aside from The Way! You have caused them to trust in fables and to put their hope in lies and false visions, in worthless things![7] The Truth is not in you, and from The Life you are far removed![8] You have pierced My heart with a hot iron! You have battered and bruised Me, and torn My flesh! My sadness fills the heavens like the unending blackness, My tears cover the earth like the oceans, because of you! My anger wells up within Me like a raging fire, on account of all these you have persecuted and murdered throughout your generations! Indeed, the cup of My indignation overflows, on account of all you have done and are about to do, says The Lord. And still I sent to you many in My own name, that you might be saved from yourself. Yet you rejected them all, beating some and killing others, casting them out in your pompous rage. You will not turn, and so The Father has declared your end. WOE TO THE CHURCH CALLED MOTHER! WOE TO YOU AND YOUR APPOINTED LEADERS! WOE TO YOU AND ALL YOUR “HOLY FATHERS”![9]... WOE TO THE CHURCH CALLED ROMAN AND CATHOLIC! WOE TO THE CHURCH FULL OF DEAD MEN’S BONES![10]... For I have prepared a great fire, and behold, it is already kindled, And you, along with all who cleave to you, shall surely be cast into it![11]... SAYS THE LORD.
A meta-analysis of 63 studies showed a significant negative association between intelligence and religiosity. The association was stronger for college students and the general population than for participants younger than college age; it was also stronger for religious beliefs than religious behavior.
As a long-time atheist and anti-theist I simply haven't found that to be the case. Some of humanity's most brilliant minds have been believers. Newton -- arguably the most intelligent human who ever lived -- believed in that nonsense. One could even argue that Einstein believed in a generic 'god.' To the contrary, high levels of intelligence actually helps believers rationalize and explain away the inconsistencies and contradictions in their religious faith! In the end, it's less about intelligence and more about commitment to objectivity and the truth. If one isn't willing to honestly question their religious indoctrination, it doesn't matter how intelligent or simple-minded they are.
@@BoecifusJones24 It's selective introspection. I'm sure you've seen it. A person can be perfectly rational regarding almost any other issue, but when it comes to matters of faith, they insulate it from any significant examination. It's one of the many reasons I hate religion -- it makes certain ideas sacrosanct, and NO idea or belief should be above scrutiny!
@roadtoreason3368 doesn't that in itself suggest a higher percentage of people willing to suspend belief of reality in favor of 'alternative facts' within the religious world vs the atheists?
@@BoecifusJones24 Of course it does. But, again, that's not a matter of intelligence. It's a matter of how diligent one is in pursuit of the truth. Those are two different things.

No they don't have thousand of them, because there aren't any fragments AT ALL from the first century and there's only five scraps with a few verses from the second century. You don't even get a whole book until the 3rd century, and you don't get a full copy until the 4th. And so far up the 4th century, we haven't even counted to 200, let alone thousands.
@@VulcanLogic Well I am corrected , but not convinced . Have you heard of the Museum of The Bible in Washington DC ? It houses the largest collection of Biblical manuscripts in the world . @@jwsanders1214 I have now. Seems a cool place. I'm fascinated by these early manuscripts myself, even though I don't believe in the religion behind them. Most of their manuscripts seem to be medieval copies, but that's ok, too. I got to handle one myself at the Newberry Library in Chicago (a 14th century illuminated Bible). They do have a few early fragments from the 3rd or 4th century, and those are great. Doesn't make any of it true, though.
When a reasonable person meets an unreasonable religious bigot, (Usually a republican evangelical.) trying to reason with that person will only result in them raising their voice and proclaiming that the atheist is persecuting their beliefs.
In regards to Us Christians reading the Bible and thinking that we know everything.... .Actually we read that one book and believe that we know absolutely nothing. Compared to God that is. Our thoughts are not his thoughts. Our words are not his words. Our ways are not his ways. We choose to have faith because of who Jesus was, the words he spoke, and what he did. We all know that we are sinners un worthy of the kingdom of Heaven. We understand that we need a Savior. For all those who don't believe I pray for you. If God is not real and this is all for not then at least I will have lived my life to the best of my ability in accordance with the way Jesus wanted me to live. Which in my opinion has been exponentially a better way to live than the way I was living. I've witnessed it. But for those who don't believe that God is real, and do not recognize Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, those same souls Will one day stand and be judged before him. And the wages for sin is death.
@@DavidStowers-o7k I disagree. We look at things from a human perspective. We don't see what he sees. We maneuver within our lives with imperfect and incomplete information. Taking that into account, along with many other examples of evil acts the Bible advocates, you might want to redefine what you mean by 'evil'. You are living proof that religion rots what little brains you had to begin with.
“God” is a figmentation of early Iron Age imagination; doesn’t exist so it can’t be evil. Unfortunately evil people use it for motivation and as an excuse. Believers are the problem, religion in an expression of their evil. Don’t blame “god”, blame them. Blaming “god” is a waste of time.
In Researches into the Phenomenology of the Self, Carl Jung writes: "According to Irenaeus, the Gnostics held that Sophia, ..., in the form of a dove, descended into the water and begot Saturn, who is identical with Yahweh." What Sophia created in error is the Demiurge. In the Secret Book of John, the Savior gives the most accurate description of God the Father or The One, as distinct from the Demiurge who masquerades as god in the Old Testament, and who constantly demands sacrifice; in particular, child sacrifice. In the text, On the Origin of the World, "at the consummation of the age, ..., Sophia will take off her wise flame of afterthought and put on irrational wrath", to drive out the Demiurge and his ruling cabals, ushering in heaven on earth. The same text ends with "Each one by his deeds and his gnosis will reveal his nature."
God loves us so much that we'll never ceas to exist, that would be more tragic than going to hell. No one will see anyone in hell, because all wjo are there will be alone for eternity. But take courage now in knowing that you will at least exist. Yes yes on fire and screaming for it to all end. And cursing God that i was right in my comment here, LoL don't worry we'll likely all be there together even even though we'll all be alone, but i am very much truly right that it is better to exist than not to exist even in hell. Now God would truly be evil and uncaring if at the end of our lives we just stopped existing.
The topic of discussing faith and atheism is very confusing and depends on each person’s position. The percentage of atheism and faith is 50% for each side, but as a Muslim, I would like to correct two pieces of information. Mr. Shaar Fi Ras says that Muhammad ascended to heaven. This is not in the Quran. The Quran did not say that. The verses say: “Glory be to Him who took His servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him some of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.” (1) And We gave Moses the Scripture and made it a guidance for the Children of Israel. Do not (You take a guardian besides Me) The verses never said that someone ascended to the sky, as spaceships were not known at that time. Unfortunately, Muslims are the ones who claimed that and attributed stories and tales that they copied from Zoroastrianism and attributed them to the Prophet Muhammad, although the verses also speak about the Prophet Moses. Islam has only one book, the Quran. Muslims created other books after centuries, 250, 300, 400, and 500 years, and attributed them to the Prophet and to Islam. Thirdly, all this precise system in the universe, the movement of the stars and planets in their paths, the movement of water, the work of the heart, respiratory system, and liver, and planting compassion in the mother’s heart to raise her children, all of that came about by chance? Without a creator or manager? Unfortunately, man gives himself centrality as if the universe depends on man, and we forget the verse (O man, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous? He who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you; in whatever form He willed has He assembled you?) I hope you know God
So, there's all this stuff tacked onto your religion that wasn't originally in your religion, things which give people the wrong impression of your religion, and your deity sits back and watches and does nothing about it? As for the rest of it, you're just calling on the god of the gaps. It's an argument from ignorance and personal incredulity. "I don't know how this could have come about without guidance, *therefore god.*"
It isn't 50%. This is a false dichotomy. Theism has no evidence. Atheism doesn't make a claim. We don't care what your god says or you think your god says. We want you to illustrate a miracle, something supernatural, or maybe produce something like a flying horse or the like. You can't. You know you can't. So why should people believe? It is just a bunch of people sharing stories. It isn't magic. It isn't anything other than that.

I'm a happy lifelong atheist. My Grampy taught me secular values without realizing it. By the time I got to Sunday School the stories and cheapo coloring books bored me. I knew better versions of many of the stories. As the song says "Momma tried..." to no avail with several preachers/pastors to make me a believer. I wasn't having it. I was an atheist well before I ever heard or learned what it meant. I think we should ban teaching any religion until at least the teen years. Religions wouldn't last long imo. 💙💯
The easiest and surest way that leads everyone to atheism is to study the Bible... unfortunately the "sheep" don't do that and follow their good shepherd to the slaughterhouse...
They eat the body of christ and drink the blood of christ, they are cannibals! They also will not stop saying christ is coming any day, never going to happen. No kidding, I would go to bed scared that I could go to hell, spent my whole childhood praying to God for forgiveness for whatever I’ve done wrong (I had no clue), it’s a complete torture what religion does to healthy minds. I spent my whole life up to almost 30 years old praying every night before bed for nobody in my family to die, cause I thought if I didn’t pray someone was going to die, or if I went to bed without asking for forgiveness I could die and go to hell, I am still not sure about being an atheist at all but I wish I was never religious to begin with, I even feel bad sometimes for admitting it.
The 'god' of the Bible spends the vast majority of the Old Testament chastising his people (usually via his 'prophets' but often personally) for worshipping other gods. In fact, he spends an extraordinarily large amount of time and effort punishing them for not showing proper worship and deference to HIM.
Sounds like a certain individual in current events here in the US.

It’s almost as if if it were made up 🤔
False claim, educate yourself, Logically there are only two realities after death, Heaven, and hell, Hell is merely absence from God, God will not force you to be with him after death if you dont want to, therefore the devil automatically takes you to where you wish to be, Hell.

A cosmic Saddam Hussein, perfect description. I really like another comment on this video, "Man created god in his image".
Also gad knew what Eve would do. he set her up to fail. gad is immoral (if he were real that is).

Dear, your analysis of the motives of human action is correct, but how did you know that God did not tell Adam not to do evil? Why do you think that the forbidden tree is an apple or an orange tree? My honorable sir, God taught Adam everything, good and evil. He taught him to always choose virtue and stay away from doing bad deeds. God does not wrong people. God is reason and logic. He never contradicts correct logic. God taught Adam and those with him everything and issued the command: Do not kill, do not commit adultery, do not oppress, do not steal, do not be cruel to the weak. No, no, etc. All values were defined. Adam (a group of chosen people), but Adam was weak in front of himself. He did not have a strong will to prevent himself from committing sins. This is what the verses told us (We did not find in him any determination), meaning determination and strong desire not to commit sins. God does not wrong anyone, as God sent thousands of prophets to guide people to God’s ways so that they would not use the excuse of lack of knowledge. Here, God taught Adam everything. Adam did not sin, and he was ignorant and did not realize, but he sinned by his own free choice. My regards)

Nothing destroyed my faith, more than the Catholic Church itself. Furthermore, not one example of any church on earth that I have come in contact with as well. Nothing in my mind about churches displays their belief in God. Here is how I see their failure. Not a single form of (preaching by example). Never, not once did I see this.
Yeah, don't take a cue from Catholics.

Thus says The Lord: Beware, O peoples of the church called Mother. For she is a harlot, a false way, a deceitful house filled with both great and subtle deceptions. Be wary, rouse yourselves from this heavy sleep, and look upon the fruit of your doings. For you have been greatly misled, caught up in a faith which is dead; there is no life in it! For as it was written by My servant, so in like manner I now plead with you: Depart from the way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse things, from those who leave the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness, who rejoice in doing evil and delight in the perversity of the pagan, whose ways are crooked and who are devious in their paths. Be delivered from the adulterous woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words, who forsakes the husband of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God. For her house is sinking down to death, and all her paths lead to the dead.[1]
Therefore thus says The Lord God, The Holy One of Israel, to all who have ears to hear: This unholy church of men is a harlot! From the beginning she has been a whore! Yet she would have all believe she is a queen, even the true church and mother. Indeed, she has bore many sons and daughters, daughters who yet bear her likeness; and many sons who shall go to perdition, false fathers[2] and priests, who by their own authority take to themselves proselytes, who they then make twice as fit for destruction as themselves![3] Behold, deception is hidden within deception, as she continues to build up her sins toward heaven.
For I tell you a mystery filled with corruption,
Abuse of power and contemptible ways:
This church of men is like the woman who rides the beast;
She is clothed with purple and scarlet, enticing the
People to commit fornication with her...
Yet to her own, she is a queen who sits upon
My throne and has taken to herself My authority,
Perverting My Word and changing My Commandments
As she appoints kings and princes in her own name,
Each with names of blasphemy upon their heads,
So-called holy fathers who shall go into perdition with her...
For she is also like Babylon, adorning herself with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornications.[4]
Thus says The Lord to the deceptive harlot, to the mother of all fornications: Woe, I say to you! Even three times, woe! For the atheist shall have it far better than you, when the wrath of the great and dreadful God has come! For when they seek forgiveness, they shall surely find it. Yet woe to you who blaspheme the Spirit; from you forgiveness has fled away![5] Behold, destruction waits for you as you continue to tread the wide path![6]
For you believe yourself to be a glorious vine, yet your roots are full of rottenness, a vine of deceit with many tendrils spreading forth abomination!
You have caused them to trust in fables and to put their hope in lies and false visions, in worthless things![7] The Truth is not in you, and from The Life you are far removed![8]
You have pierced My heart with a hot iron!
For I have prepared a great fire, and behold, it is already kindled,
And you, along with all who cleave to you, shall surely be cast into it![11]...

One could even argue that Einstein believed in a generic 'god.'
To the contrary, high levels of intelligence actually helps believers rationalize and explain away the inconsistencies and contradictions in their religious faith!
In the end, it's less about intelligence and more about commitment to objectivity and the truth. If one isn't willing to honestly question their religious indoctrination, it doesn't matter how intelligent or simple-minded they are.

If a god does exist its not the one of the bible or any religion because why would god create such a awful place of eternal torment for anyone to go to honestly it doesn't matter if god exist or not what matters is how you treat people how you lived your life live this life
Whoever Dan Barker is debating with (I assume he's a minister) his non-answers sound like a politician's.
The Museum of The Bible in Washington DC has thousands of fragments of The Gospels from the First and Second Century and they are all in agreement that Jesus is God in the Flesh
The point I want to make is that the Word of God that is available to us today is trust worthy . Men like William Tyndale and Jan Hus gave their lives to see to it
@@jwsanders1214 I have now.
So even if god was proven to be true you wouldn’t respect him. That’s nuts.
How is it nuts? Just read the Bible - your (fictional) God is evil.
athiesm is funny (tho despressing) but pretty funny how they all gather up in anger and hatred but give no good arguments lol
When a reasonable person meets an unreasonable religious bigot, (Usually a republican evangelical.) trying to reason with that person will only result in them raising their voice and proclaiming that the atheist is persecuting their beliefs.
@@DavidStowers-o7k Then meet a reasonable religious person lol
The wages of sin is death, What kind of death does "god" deserve then?
@@DavidStowers-o7k God doesn't play by our rules. He makes the rules. Swallow your pride.
@@JBT42884 Then he doesn't deserve to be worshipped.
@@DavidStowers-o7k I disagree. We look at things from a human perspective. We don't see what he sees. We maneuver within our lives with imperfect and incomplete information. If you trust that God is all knowing, then you should have Faith that his actions are just and for the greater good. Any innocent lives taken by his hand throughout history will be in Heaven. I trust this with complete certainty.
All the atheists crying about how “evil” God is but can’t ground what evil means objectively is pretty funny
The OT has yet to be translated. The little- but significant- parts Kamal Salibi has tells different stories. No one has “read the Bible.” Start at start. “The Bible Came from Arabia “, Kamal Salibi,1985, plus his 3 other bible study books and blog for facts not fantasies. The Bible contains myth, legend, history and science. Separating them is not easy but Salibi does just that. Good luck!
He admits it in Luke 19 47
Seems obvious to me. My morality is not dependent on your mythology.
Please watch and share with others my five brief videos in which I present examples of scientific facts contained in the Bible, facts that the writers thousands of years ago could not have been aware of without divine knowledge given to them by Jesus Christ / The God of the Bible. And today's scientists agree with those facts!
@@thetruthaboutscienceandgod6921 Like flat-earth geocentrism? Or the "fact" that Joshua stopped the Sun? Or that Jesus walked on water, made water into wine, healed the paralyzed? Do they agree?
I love the irony of Krauss, author of the appallingly bad work of fiction: A Universe From Nothing, commenting on any other work of fiction.
And a sexual harasser.
One is contrived from the reality we can present the other is contrived from a mythology we can only assert.
@@Jcs57 Krauss' book is not based on reality - it is the work of a conman. There is not ONE experiment in it which has produced a single extra quanta of energy extra than what it started with. ALL energy is conserved in ALL situations and this law of physics has never been violated.
Also, using whatever definition of "nothing" fantasist Krauss uses, he never shows that that state of the uniiverse ever existed.
So it went over your head. Got it.
@@Johnboy33545 So you're a gullible ignoramus. Got it.
We need only glance at the these two laughing boys to know where the seat of evil truly lies.
Remember when your gad flooded the entire planet? Was that "good"?
@@TboneWTF Do you remember when my God flooded the entire planet?
@@andrewfisherman3811 LOL. was it "good" Good luck my friend.
@@andrewfisherman3811 Why, did you have to be there to acknowledge the heinous nature of flooding an entire planet? None of it matters anyway, because a made-up god didn't do a damn thing. Still, if you believe he exists, you might like to ask him why he stood by and did nothing when the evil despots of history killed millions, or why he created diseases that have caused the pain, suffering and death of billions throughout human history, rather than make up excuses because inconvenient truths run contrary to your lunatic narrative.
Yup
This hole soap opera , is dirty as hell
God loves us so much that we'll never ceas to exist, that would be more tragic than going to hell. No one will see anyone in hell, because all wjo are there will be alone for eternity. But take courage now in knowing that you will at least exist. Yes yes on fire and screaming for it to all end. And cursing God that i was right in my comment here, LoL don't worry we'll likely all be there together even even though we'll all be alone, but i am very much truly right that it is better to exist than not to exist even in hell. Now God would truly be evil and uncaring if at the end of our lives we just stopped existing.
I can’t think of anything worse or more pointless than an eternal, never-ending afterlife. You clearly haven’t thought about what eternity is.
@@carolineclements640 Ohh yes I have, it's unimaginable that doesn't mean I'm wrong for wanting it to be real.
@@JJ-qo7th My dear, please do not pass judgment without knowing that every follower of a religion adds to their religion, and Muslims are no exception. God warned us not to do as the followers of previous religions did, but our human nature exceeds and transcends instructions. Unfortunately, you take your culture and values from me, then you criticize me and act arrogantly towards me. Therefore, I hope that you always remember, throughout your time, that your values from Abraham, Moses, and Jesus are our Arab values, the values of my region, not yours. Abraham was an Arab man like me. Moses, Jacob, and David were Arabs like me, and perhaps they were exactly like me. Likewise, Jesus is an Arab man, like millions of Arab youth now.
@@ibrahimelmasry-z3k Who cares what god or scripture you're talking about. It's a rather moot point, given that all religion is made-up bullshit.
The King James bible will always outsell these idiots combined, simply because no one cares about what they say, meanwhile people all over the world continue to want God's word.
If the idiot at the start read the bible, then he'd know everlasting fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, therefore, if you end up there you're a misfit, and you gotta ask yourself, better now than then, how you ended up in a place not meant for you.
