The ride smoothness in the ES is so much better, and cabin noise is non-existent.You get so much more space, luxury. You will look for excuses just to go for a short ride.Highly recommend the ES.I personally am looking to get the 2023 model year by next summer.
I was debating on which one to get. At first it was the v6 with AWD in the IS but the ES has better back seat room and I can run regular gas with it too; after seeing this video, I know the ES ultra Luxury in the Moonbeam Beige Metallic is the right choice for me. Thanks
The ES seats don’t go down so that they are more comfortable for passengers. I drive the 2023 ES 300 hybrid ultra luxury and I think it is absolutely amazing. It’s a huge upgrade from the 2015 ES hybrid premium I traded in.

That was my first choice when I got my current car, but by the time I was ready to purchasethey had already been off production for like 3 years. They need to bring it back!
I watched an Australian reviewing both cars and he said the IS has a sportier character like the steering response and throttle response whereas the ES is more comfort oriented.
Thank You for this video, I have been driving an ES 300H 2021 and just test drove an IS 350. The handling is simply amazing. I know the fuel economy hurts. Still thinking what to do.
It's definitely a smaller car compared to the ES. The ES gives me 720 km on one tank of fuel. The IS felt much smaller, especially in the back seat. There is a fun element in driving the IS plus the 4 wheel drive and love how the engine sounds. The dealership mentioned it would take three months to order it from a Lexus plan in Japan and ship it to British Columbia, Canada. So, it’s truly a made-in-Japan vehicle.
@@Gentle1111 thank you! i love the ES currently but i’ve learned that the sound of eCVT can bother me at times and i’m assuming the Japanese quality of the IS truly makes it to the driving experience inside. so, are you still driving the ES?

I have an IS350 F-Sport, but recently had an ES300 loaner and was quite impressed with the performance. Also, the ES turbo was quiet and smoother than my wife's new 23 RX350

I have had both. Totally different. I can get 4 sets of golf clubs in my es. It gets 30 mph and takes regular gas. The is is louder more fun to drive. The is350 f sport has a mean growl to it like a muscle car. Don't like that you have to use premium though

The rear of the IS is just unbeatable. Man i wish the ES had a similar end.

Outstanding presentation. This was exactly the comparison I was looking for. Lexus Corporate needs to have you do National presentations.....
I would personally pick the ES over the IS for the extra space and better infotainment system. Both great looking cars though. 👍
