Thought I was an ES kinda guy. Test drove a 2014 IS 250.. too small inside especially in the back for my gf and son. Test drove a GS.. LOVED the size inside! Din't even bother test driving an ES 350. Just bought a used 2013 GS 350 w/Luxury Package! My first rear wheel drive.

Revised - LS = Is a mammoth luxury car......weighing in at 4,200+ lbs. The ES for 2007 (my year) is 200 lbs lighter than the 2007 GS. The ES has the luxury suspension but is also FWD unlike a GS that can be RWD.
@Mike M Its more comfy then your discontinued GS. It's got more room back seat room and it doesn't encourage you to drive recklessly. If your buying it used then the ES are usually in better condition because they were not pushed as hard by the previous owners. It depends on what you're looking for. At least that's what I tell myself after not being able to find a used GS in my area that was up to my standards.

I have a GS 450h F Sport; I drive it like an old lady. I don't know why....its fast, but its something about a hybrid that transforms you into a "granny". Now my BMW 3 series i dog the heck out of it....the difference is my Lexus is appraised at 28K and the BMW is 4k haha (and has about 2 service lights because she loves being an endless money pit). Also of the two the Lexus still feels, looks, and drives new but I'm never selling it only has 21k on the odometer, but its several years old. Lastly, that voice you could probably sell glasses to a blind man.

The LS has rear heater and cooled seats, possibly massage options. and the option to have rear sunshades on all windows. And inside the rear arm rest the optional cooler for your champagne. The LS is the Ultimate in LUXURY, if you can drive a big car like that and feel confident get it. If you want mini luxury get the ES. I can't decide between ES and GS

Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. :-(

No I Set in my ES in the back seat I'm 6' I had about 5" inches where the driver's seat was... that was my concern too..but plenty of room

Check your facts, my friend. Since 2011, Lexus has re-tooled the ES 350 engine to run on 87 octane fuel. And, the RX 350 as well.
