I picked mine up last Thursday after a three day search. It had me at the orange calipers. This is my first Lexus. I always bought Mercedes SL and S. Don’t miss it at all. I like the vehicle and I like having a vehicle in a color I won’t see a lot of. In fact, since there were only 500 produced for the North American market, I may not see any. The fact that it’s not a V6 doesn’t matter to me. Those who are holding out should look elsewhere. Chances are slim that it will be coming back. Trust me, It moves when I want it to.
Just got a 2025 non hybrid version. Our 4th RX in 20 years. Absolutely love it. Feel as though it is the best one so far but we’ve only had it less than a month. Thought I would miss the V6 but so far I am okay with it. Much quieter and rides heavier than our 2020 we traded in for it. In town getting maybe 3-4 mpg better fuel economy than previous V6 version. Keep up your reviews, they are excellent.
I have a 2024. I previously owned a 2021 Macan GTS and let me tell you that the RX 500 is a beast. Go and try one you will understand how powerful it is. Most of the time it's the two electric motors that works. It's a wonderful car and look fantastic.
Does 2025 RX lineup have brighter ambient lighting compared to 2024? If so, is it a software update than can make the ambient lighting brighter on 2024 RX?
I have a few friends that recently bought RX and NX models higher in the lineups. For 65 grand, The interiors dont seem to excude luxury.. Yet when I look at Genesis, Cadillac, etc. there is a vast difference in luxury interiors… I am not dispelling the notion on quality comparisons. This is purely interior designs/comfort
I have test drive the beast It’s so quick , much quicker than my V6 on the same profile 235 all 4 tyres I got a question for you, I think by changing the 4 tyre to 255 will increase its grip, turning and balancing on the road, Do you know with the current rim , what is the biggest tyre it can take and also will not affect the turning ? Since Mercedes and BMW their SUV front tyres are massive 275 And back ones are like 335 And they are not that much quicker compared to RX If I can up size the tyres for RX, I would like to know the limit Thanks
Bro, I like your style, but you focus on details that most people don’t care about when buying a car or watching reviews. For example, pointing out rust as a negative if the brakes aren’t used or the battery going dead-those come across as overly critical. Plus, commenting on your pants and mentioning the suit brand is unnecessary; no one really cares about that. Modern suits look great, so keep rocking that style. My suggestion: when reviewing cars, especially as a Lexus-focused channel, keep the tone positive and engaging. Then, create separate videos for current owners, diving into the ownership experience and potential issues to watch out for. That way, you cater to both audiences effectively. Keep up the great work!
A 4-cylinder on this vehicle is almost a criminal offense. Mercedes took the same approach on several sport oriented vehicles and were met with the same disappointment.
It's a hybrid !!! 4 cylinder turbo plus 2 powerful electric motors one in front and one in back. It's really a beast . Most of the time it's the electric motors that works. About the same performance has my previous Porsche Macan GTS.
I thought the same thing, but I found one ten days ago after a three day search across three states. It was like finding a needle in a haystack, but I found it. It’s truly a beautiful vehicle. A bit darker when it’s in the garage, but in sunlight, it’s a beautiful chalky gray. My first Lexus and I’m well pleased. Hope you find one. You can also ask Justin about purchasing that one. You never know.
@ congrats! I hope you enjoy. I’ve owned 2 RX 350s and they are great cars. Were you able to get the vehicle delivered or did you need to travel to pick it up?
@ Thank you. My very first Lexus. I had to travel a few hours to pick it up. I traded my S550 so they couldn’t bring it to me at the Lexus dealership closer to me. They had to check out the car.
Very nice colour… wow… but no V6 a massive, massive hard pass I will not return to Lexus until they fix this major faux pas!! 4cyl is perfect for NX. But 90k for an overworked 4 cylinder, what do they think we are? Idiots??
The new 4cyl turbo actually has more power and torque than the v6. I actually prefer the new one better than the last model with the v6. Go and drive one. Don't knock it until you have tried it. 😊
@ thx for the reply, my brother in law has the new Tacoma, 4 cyl, flat surface yep, surprising for sure, put it to the test on hills and such, it’s a heavy moaner, same complaint really in the RX. Seriously if they would have said we put a smaller engine, we bring the price down a bit and perhaps it would be more acceptable for some, but no, prices increased significantly. For 90k I can get a base X5 with the B58 inline 6 that will blow that 500h in so many aspects easily. Not sold on this direction.
Imagine having to swap a tire on a road trip when your trunk is full of items. 😮 Also, the RX’s floor is rising like grass with each newer model. 😊 You really notice it when sitting in the back. Its trunk volume is already much smaller than its competitors, and raising the floor makes it even less practical. The RX is my favorite Lexus, but it’s becoming harder to justify. Soon, we’ll be comparing its interior size to that of the Toyota Corolla Cross.
This is exactly the RX model I would go for, actually like the incognito color, but black elements stand out more with brighter colors (Lexus does white right). Shame that this model is waaaay overpriced in Europe (can get X5 or GLE for the price).
I like luxury and horsepower. Lexus has neutered this vehicle with no V6. I guess I will need to move over to the Genesis brand for both luxury and horsepower.
The Japanese car is technically thoughfest. I can not let my old Lexus LS 400 be the car for the museum. Japanese car industry should develop a new Lexus with six and eight cylinders for the Lexus customers who are still looking out for a dynamic auto machine.
Большинство тех кто здесь пишет комментарии даже не пробовали ехать на этом двигателе, а он едет и едет лучше чем V6, вы сначала попробуйте проехать прежде чем писать всякую чушь.
nice car.. but the all-around exterior design of this new model looks like Mazda CX-60.. CX-60 still looks more elegant and smart.. this one looks like a boy racer SUV..
I have 2024 500h. Fir me full tank gas I can drive 280mils . No matter how I drive. Mostly eco mode .so disappointed. And car it self . Has bad finish. Don't like it for 72k car

I agree!
So it does better in mpg? I have 2019 and many told me they didn't see much differences.
I enjoy your videos, very informative
Nice Car , can you also make a full review for the 2025 450h+ also .
IMO, the black line edition with pearl white color would look better.❤
That is my next car when I trade in my present RX. Love it
For this price point Lexus should put at least V6 on the heavy SUV.
LOL, I have a 23 500h F Sport model , it has plenty of power( 366Hp, 0-60, 5.8 sec, 130 miles top speed). It put my neighbors 21 RX350 V6 to shame.

2025 It's change in hardware, it's 3 times brighter
I don’t see Lexus mentioning it being brighter anywhere though.
I still wouldn't trade it for my 21 rx350L NA V6 made in Japan.
4 cylinder is a no go!
Looks good & stands out
Thanks for doing the video
I enjoy watching it very much 👍
Hi Dustin, I have a 2024 350h, how do I set up my car so it can speak “Good Morning Ken or Hello Ken” like you mentioned in this video for the 500h?

Dustin, that color combo is sexy. Is the 500 any larger than the RX 350? TIA
Love the new cluster screen. My 2023 seems ancient compared to that. But i think mudflaps spoils the sporty design.
Hi, Dustin. wonder if 2025 nx350h has the same customisable mult-info display?
Beautiful car!
How much for this particular model and mpg. Thanks
Double paned glass in the back now as well for the 2025 model.

@francoisrochette3808 I suspect Porsche hopes buyers like you will upgrade to the Macan 4S Electric.
I’d like one, but hear only 500 units of this Black Line 500h to be available in N. America. Highly unlikely I’ll get my hands on one. 😞

Is this new color only available on this 500h Special Edition or is Lexus going to provide it on all other RX models?
Thi smight be available later on down the line. Incognito is too popular to keep it one type of car.
