I love MV. She’s a joy to watch when it lands. This must be shortly after her AGT days, and perhaps one of the nights that she speaks of when she’s in a bad mood after a not so good performance. She’s a terrific impressionist and a great performer when the writing aligns with her strengths. Even on SNL there are hits and misses. But I believe she needs a writer or a team that really knows her zone.

Jesus, her Christina Aguilera singing is insanely on point, it's awesome that she recognizes how close she can match it so it'll blow people's minds every time she just busts out of nowhere sounding identical to Christina. If you were blindfolded and this chick like actually tried her hardest to sing perfectly, I honestly dk that you'd be able to pick out which voice was actually Christina between the two and that's a huge compliment. She's pretty enough as well to probably carve out a nice music career for herself if she wanted too, but I imagine it's probably hard for her to figure out her own unique niche and sound when you're capable of literally sounding just like Christina. That's gotta be a tough and weird spot to be in knowing you're good enough to sound like Christina Aguilera, yet at the same time recognize no one wants to hear a Christina Aguilera clone when it comes to her own vocal style for her music. It's almost like being cursed in a way kind of like if you were able to sing identically to Adele, but you'll never quite be able to get any traction in the music industry with your own career because Adele's already at the top and already doing it.

She is one of the rare comedians of today that I could say would have been able to make it back in the 70’s or 80’s comedy world. You can tell she has worked really hard on building her act and doesn’t rely on awkward deadpan non sequesters which is standard in a lot of throw away comedy nowadays.
