Making McVitie's Chocolate Digestive Biscuits At Home|But Better

  • · Ingredients:
    Unsalted butter 80g
    Salt 1g
    Powdered sugar 40g
    Whipping cream 20g
    Cake flour 90g
    Whole wheat flour 60g
    Baking powder 1g
    Suitable amount of chocolate
    · Baking:
    170°C/338°F 20min
    · How to make:
    1. Mix the cake flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, powdered sugar and salt in a bowl.
    2. Cut the butter into small pieces, add the whipping cream, mix together to form a dough and roll out to a thickness of 5mm.
    3. Use a 58mm diameter mold to cut out the cookies, freeze for 10 minutes, place on a baking mat and bake.
    4. Melt the chocolate (preferably use tempered or unseasoned chocolate), squeeze it onto the cookie and spread it evenly, press the lines with a wooden skewer, refrigerate and serve after it has solidified.
