Agreed! Ingredients are still a bit costly but nowhere near 10 dollars! You also can pick up a desired ready made frost to pinch out any unnecessary hassle! All for the joy of that bite.. that significant bite.. wholesome bite! 😌Mmm..

Very good recipe, I made it on the first try! Not having to add any food coloring makes it way more stable for me, the cocoa powder adds the nice color and flavor without disturbing the mixture! 👍 will be making again!!
Very nice ! Your ganache seems a little bit dry though, I rekon it can be improved by heating the heavy cream and melting your chocolate with it instead of using a microwave. In my bakery courses we were forbidden to use thoses hahaha. Thanks for sharing !

I tried this recipe today and mine got cracked on top (thats partially my fault, didn’t let them dry enough it’s quite humid today) and some got lopsided somehow. This was the first time incorporating cocoa powder for me and i‘m sad it didn’t quite work out for me 😅 guess I have to try again
I think there is no harm in using it since it will definitely keep the shape of the cookies. And if you don’t have it on hand you may add half a teaspoon lemon juice for every single egg white. The acid will work its wonder in forming tiny bubbles holding onto each other resulting in very fine texture. I don’t know why you got a “No” for an answer here though. I hope that they explain!
Is it up and down heat did you use? I hope this comment is you notice because when I make macarons in a past day the top is getting burn. But the oven temperature that I used is same to you.

It was my first time making these and my macaron shells came out smooth! It have a nice soft chew. And i'm glad it didn't take long to make!

I think you should only use the below heat, like on a normal oven. Usually when we turn the top burners on it overcooks or burns the tops of things.
My convection oven uses top and bottom and also the fan.
