I thought it would make more sense to have them go through like a flowing chocolate curtain, like a shower. I don't know how to describe it. That way you don't need to flip them at all.
@@dumi_thicc Not really. I mean, they have to recoup and rework all the chocolate that isn't under s biscuit. After the minimal loss due to an amount coating the insides of pills and stuff, the chocolate that did not land on a biscuit could also be recouped and reworked. I'm guessing their decision to use the flip method was because it gives a more even coating.

This is a good video. Sometimes these “how it’s made” videos contain unrelated clips that are unnecessary, disruptive, and irritating. It’s good that this video is strictly about the manufacturing process without those stupid cuts.
Oopsies. When I read the title, I thought these were biscuits that helped you poop😂 Made me even more confused reading other people's comments saying they loved to eat digestives.
Chiara Tsuji *it totally doesn’t. When they were invented over a hundred years ago they were marketed as being beneficial, but they have no health benefits. Digestive or otherwise, they’re just a sweet biscuit and you are stupid*

My grandmother loved these and you couldn't get them in my country. The last time I bought them for her she passed away before I could come back home. Now every time I eat them myself I am reminded of her. It's a strange relationship to have with a tea time treat.

Their digestive biscuits have become thin, crumbly. 100 grams less in a packet. Before the package was 500 grams, now 400 grams.. Over priced. I won't buy them anymore. They used to be very good biscuits...
We were talking to a couple in the supermarket who showed us they just reduced the packaging size. They make plenty of money anyway as they have half price specials. I need to lose a little weight anyway so probably a good move.
I didnt even know you could get Caramel digestives.... Also I live near a McVities Factory, sometimes I'd the wind blows in the right direction you can here it. Especially when you get out the car at the shop next to it.
Wait, these have caramels? I ate them before but mine is only milk chocolate and dark chocolate types. There's no caramel in it. The packaging is different too, probably because I buy it in Singapore. This one looks so much better. 🤤
normal ones are just chocolate... these are caramel ones, they have a different packet, the milk chocolate are just a dark brown packaging, these are like a orange packaging like shown in the video
this is oddly satisfying to watch.
Why is it odd

the decision to flip all the biscuits onto chocolate rather than individually adding chocolate to each was genius
I thought it would make more sense to have them go through like a flowing chocolate curtain, like a shower. I don't know how to describe it. That way you don't need to flip them at all.
I still thought they were covered with chocolate - it must be more cost effective to have them flipped onto it instead.
