- Part 3 of 4 in "Volva Stav Exercises" from the Volva Stav Manual by Kari Tauring (available on karitauring.com... through lulu.com)
The original DVD recorded at the University of St. Thomas by Kari Tauring and John Faeth for the purpose of teaching. Over 50 dvds were distributed. Glad to add this to the greater body of knowledge at this time! KT
Kari is a honorable person, and you can see the kindness in her eyes when she speaks. Everyone has some different form of trancework which has been traditionally used by northern european shamans for years.
Drear Sarah,
Thank you so much for your words of confidence in me. I am sorry for the late reply. I have not been checking my youtube videos in a long time.
My very best to you!
Kari
This is great. No one shows what this kind of stuff looks like.
Hi Kari, I really enjoy your videos, thanks a lot. What wood is your Stav made of?
Hi Tanja, sorry for the late reply!
It is a staff of poplar that my dear friend sent me when I turned 35. I didn't know quite what it was used for back then! I have lots of stavs of different woods. Choose free fallen for good affect!
you still around Kari?
Took my eye off the stav...so to speak. Thanks for asking. :) I am busy putting information on KariTauring.com
@@karitauring7361 So, you're still alive?
@@jessiehermit9503 I Am!
head over to my website for my latest and best work yet. Also have kari tauring channels here - fun videos since COVID.
@@karitauring7361 I'll be looking until them!
Its beyond offensive you have the audacity to claim volva. New age historian possibly at best
Chris Eh, her intentions are honorable at least. I've seen worse. Wanna be fortune tellers using the gods to sell their act.
I disagree. I don't accuse Christians of being audacious for receiving their Word through a book only translated to English with political intent like what... 400 years ago?
Every last one of the things a minister does is not going to be dogma directly from their Western-accepted source such as a Bible, etc, or exist in a straight approved line as Catholicism attempts to do. Threads of practice do indeed exist till today, often not reclaimed under the word volva until well, it is.
This is her wisdom. Why are you even here if you don't think those exist? Or are you one of those people who defends the possession of copyrighted culture with all your stereotypes as if cataloging all the dead races/people they have killed off?
Hi Chris, sorry for the late reply. I would never have called myself a volva if the community had not asked me to. Carrying the staff for my own family of origin and traditional folk community is an honor and a big responsibility that I do not take lightly over these past decades. My teaching is not meant to "create more volur" but rather, to give people the tools that I have used to help heal personal family of origin oorlog and the wyrd of our greater community.
@@boofhead57sorry but i don't think it's wise to say you're a Walwó if we hardly know who the walwôz were
