The fact that The Three Kingdoms are only tiny parts of huge ancient china history. Also, for those who ever played Dynasty Warriors before, must be very familiar with those names and storyline 😄
Fun fact: the Yangtze is a name that most of the the Chinese don't use. While living there I learned they they call the longest river in the country 长江 ling river or 大江 big river. The name Yangtze-derived from the name of the ancient fiefdom of Yang-has been applied to the river mainly by those in the West. - Britannica.
The whole burning dong zhuo body after he died is very true in history and his body was very fat tbh. And ppl couldn't touch the body or stole it cuz they made a rule if anyone did they would get executed for doing so. Plus all his family except I believe the granddaughter were killed afterwards
Dynasty Warriors fans anyone..? Big fan.. You guys should react towards Dynasty Warriors 8 Story events of historical Wu, Shu, Wei, Jin, and Other.. Trust me You'll love it..
actually the part where Dong Zhuo kills the emperor child and make his brother the emperor, it makes sense if you view it pragmatically from Dong Zhuo's view. Dong Zhuo is from the border area where court and noble culture isnt strong of an influence. So he view things in a more pragmatic way instead of the court and traditional way. according to the 3 kindgoms book, the child emperor cowered before him when they first meet (and actually peed his pants i think), cry and complain all the time while his younger brother took charge and bravely take the lead to talk to Dong Zhuo. Dong Zhuo offered the child emperor and his brother horses to ride. The younger brother climb up and rode a horse and rode in parallel with Dong Zhuo silently without any sense that he isnt in charge, ahead of his army while the child emperor bitching non stop, Dong Zhuo was impressed and feel like the younger brother would make a better emperor. Also, arguments about many of Dong Zhuo's action where he station armies in the capital and brought his sword to court, argues that he actually maintain stability in time of crisis. He is seen as rude and barbaric because he simply did not adopt the classic court culture where nobles and emperor are privileged and the fact that he is from the 'barbaric' border region. Han people in general simply did not like the fact that an outsider has taken control of the capital.
Nah, the point of Dong Zhuo is he killing everyone who has different ideas against him. A lot of high-class and "the elder" (mean they are old and have very large knowledge) has been killed just because they shout out the truth. Yes, they are killed just because they shout out the truth of Dong Zhuo: killing citizens, raid a genocide to near villages, steal thousand of woman and let his army rape them. Using all government money without any benefit for government.
It would be way more understandable if the og video doing more work on the map, like marking the center of the national economy, that way people at least understand who is actually stronger in the situation, who controls more population, the most dense area in terns of people and in terms of trading, merchant activity. And geography as well
I love the Three Kingdoms story, this video obviously being over simplified does it zero justice. The deep strategies is my favorite part of the story. The full story is over 2300 pages.
Check out the series "Unbiased History", its about Roman history and its obviously biased and from the perspective of the Romans. Great comedy and memes. The first few videos are really fast but they will slow down so you can understand what he is explaining😂

In Chinese, the bird is singing: "Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down" lol
Fun fact: the Jin Dynasty began killing itself right after the point where this video ends, so the whole thing resumed.
Forget Game of Thrones - asian history is wack!
