But I think it's a good thing that OverSimplified gives an overall summarize of history in an interesting and fun way and if people are really interested in that piece of history after watching the videos, they can do more research on their own.

Eh Zhuge Liang was extremely overrated in Romance. According to the Records which is considered infinitely more reliable most of the famous strategems attributed to him were in fact the work of Pang Tong and Fa Zheng.

@@vivacattuber2360 I agree. They are great videos to give a starting refrence point into something new, to make it less overwhelming to dive deeper into.

Thank you for making this video! I watched the original video three times in a row for the laughs while trying to convert the badly pronounced names into the chinese ones. ^^ Really fun to mentally add the details too lol.

Ha ha, thanks for your support. Oversimplified actually did a good job on pronouncing the Chinese words in Mandarin appropriately, with very minor accent.

@@vivacattuber2360 It took me so long to pronounce Lu Bu's name right since I was in an English mindset at the time, so I kept saying something like 鲁bü with the fourth accent 🤣🤣

Your English is great thanks for the vid.
Chinese history is brutally under studied in the U.S.A partly I think because there are so few sources translated to English.

Ancient history were brutal everywhere around the world I think, mostly because people back then hadn`t develop modern day moral values yet I think, and there were probably much harsher livin` environments too compared to present times

@Will Muny depends on the internal conflict, Rome is probably a bad example given how detailed the build up to Sulla and Caesar are.
I concede your point though. I see what you're getting at.

If Oversimplified were to win the hearts of the more dedicated viewers, he should’ve done a bit more with simplifying relations, rivalries, and values shared between competitive warlords, their valorous heroic officers and advisers, and the deeds and events made true in this tumultuous historical period of China, transitioning from ancient kingdoms to feudal and foreign empires, with a legacy of folk tales and memorable events bestowed upon future peoples that survived an even terrifying age
