With it's amber beacons that suggests it goes ''air'' side at an airport. Would this route put it on track to Heathrow / Gatwick to extradite somebody. the Trailer body has cells in it, judging by the configuration of the windows
The amber beacons were most likely fitted to it when it was bought from a farm (it's a horsebox) and Met decided it wasn't worth the effort to remove them. I doubt they even worked, and the vehicle is now untaxed, so likely off the road and sat in one of Babcock's garages.

It's either a large money shipment, Top secret technology transport, or a warhead container, but that usually a Mercedes Benz truck, I doubt it's a nuclear materials truck, nowhere near enough security, they usually have up-armoured vans as well as police cars and riders with around four times tye security as well as helicopter way up above, high enough not to be heard. A warhead convoy contains: Warhead load carriers (enormous, plain dark green trucks) Ministry of Defence Police escort vehicles Military support vehicles to deal with accidents or breakdowns The warhead carriers are 44 tons, seven axle, articulated dark green trucks made by Mercedes-Benz. They are military green with the rear trailer covered by a fitted canvas. These trucks are known as TCHD’s, short for Truck Cargo Heavy Duty.
The vehicle looked like a command room for when Cobra and Gold Command are activated. Due to the comms and computer systems it is a classified location hence the need for police escort.
It's not The Stig getting to work, it will be Shergar! They found him, now going to a farmers field, he had a very successful season in 1981. Shergar was an Irish-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse.
Surely that is the regular Bank of England convoy taking used notes for destruction? They used to use furniture lorries with armed police sitting above the driver.

It is either transporting huge amounts of old money to be disposed of or highly deadly substances that kill within seconds and are airborne spread, note the trailers wheels are covered to hide the advanced suspension system.
Years ago one of these screwed up a long journey we made across the south of England. ............ Sunday morning at 5.30am in a rickety old van that would do 90mph down hill but would die going uphill so you had to cane it flat out to hit any hill at speed to keep your momentum. If you hit a hold up on a hill then the engine revs would die and you'd be doing 40mph for miles until you got your speed up again. ............ Suddenly there was a police helicopter overhead following us, then we saw the police convoy behind travelling at 1mph below the speed limit, (69.9mph). The roads were empty so we had no problem keeping ahead of it, then just as we got to the 1st climb on a long hilly section the leading patrol car caught us up, and pulled up over on the hill to let the convey past. 4 police bikes, 6 patrol cars, 1 unmarked low profile lorry and a f%#*ing helicopter. From East Sussex, through Hampshire & into Dorset all the way stuck behind this lot who were bang on the legal speed limit for the entire route. What a pain.
