Good topic of discussion! I’ve had a lot of my relationships/friendships change while navigating my own mental illnesses, but I’ve also gained a lot of new friends and supports through online connections, and sharing my struggles.
I definitely used to dwell and ruminate much more on those lost relationships, but in reality; who the heck has the energy for *that* many close friends anyway, right? 😜
You’re beautiful, Steph. Good to see you!

Agreed! Keep the good close and the great closer! … that’s how it goes right? 😜

I can deal with loosing friends, but family that part is the part that hurts

Losing anyone in your life is not easy but know that losing the people who don’t support you leaves space for you to find people who do.

Psychiatrists are medical doctors and can prescribe medications. They specialize in treating mental disorders. A psychologist has training and administers tests, and assessments to determine diagnosis which can lead to treatment using psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, etc. They can provide very valuable counseling. So the question as to which is right depends on how many drugs you need.

Thank you! I have always been confused about the difference.
