These come with Fords familiar Duratec 3.0L DOHC VVT V6. Engine makes 220HP & power is sent to the front wheels through a 5 speed auto. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
I finally managed to own one after years of dreaming.....first saw it on an autoshow way back in 2003, fell in love since. Mine is an 1.8 NA manual. I agree that from my eyes, I think this is the best looking Mazda6 generation. Looks good without being too flashy, such a timeless design.
I really love the design on that type of model. I prefer this than the newer models. the 04 and the 05 Mazda 6 sport and Mazda 6 has such a unique stans and is very pleasing to the eyes and not to mention great on gas. Great video by the way.
Love how in depth and stringent you are with every detail on the car. Refreshing to see a review where someone isn't revving the hell out of their car for 10 minutes.
If you add the spoiler, tints, fog lights, etc. It'd be sick. Add some tuning in and you've got quite a ride. Congrats on the new car dude

I have the exact same car and same color but with a manual transmission. Sounds great with an exhaust on it. Same engine I had in my 1996 Ford Probe GT and 1998 Ford Contour SVT. Decent engines, they do use about 1L of oil between oil changes. They all did that

I own this exact model but the previous owner didn't take care of it at all. Replaced many parts now. At first I just considered it a temporary car until I could get a better one but I really fell in love with this car and plan to keep it. It has emotional value now since I've been thru so much with it. Some things are worth preserving.
You can buy this device called iCarKit for about $100. It is just plug and play into the back of your radio. You then use the tape/md button to access the aux input. Or, you can solder a wire to the contacts of the tape/md thingy for like $10. But in both cases, the tape player has to be absent.

Catalytic converters are on the exhaust, so it is impossible for them to break and have pieces sucked into the engine. That is unless you hook up a compressed air hose to your tailpipe.
Just got a silver 2004 madza 6 V6 manual with the full "aero" it looks AMAZING. I just got black tints and I will install HID bulbs in the future since the stock light output is pretty good. I was lucky enough to get all the options in the car, sunroof, Bose, cassette player ( I use as aux player) . the only 2 complaints is that it is too quiet, both engine and exhaust and they could have pulled a bit more power from a 3.0 v6
Im just gonna necro this vid and say i bought mine. An 05 6S. Black. V6. 225k miles all highway runs like a beast. Full black leather. all mine is missing is fog lights and a rear wiper. I got Everything else
3 months in... still enjoying it? Any major repairs or anything else of note?

this car also uses the Duratec 23 or the 2.3L DOHC in the Escape and Focus and the 2.0 Ztec/Duratec Engine From Again the Escape and Focus

I've only heard a few with noisy timing chains but they're usually beaten to hell & have likely circled the planet a few dozen times. But they're reliable
@Intechdude300 Agreed 100%. The only thing I've thought of doing to my car are tints and HIDs but those hurt much.

I plan on getting one of these in the next year. I'm looking at around 2002-2004, between 100,000 and 160,000 miles, preferably V6, and reasonable condition. What would you say could be the lowest I could pick one of these up for?

also since you said the only speakers are in the door this means No Rear Deck speakers whatsoever?

This Mazda 6 v6 it's weird doesn't have the fog lights or the wing and sun roof I have a 06 mazda 6 v6 and came with sunroof, dogfights, spoiler and same color blue witch I like... Anyone know why this one doesn't have all of that
i was going to go with a $6000 2006 mazdaspeed 6 but ended up choosing the $4000 Mazda6 V6 manual, hopefully i didnt sacrifice too much. im a guy who prefers i4 turbo over more cylinders NA but we'll see how i like it haha

@Intechdude300 Wow that's not bad at all! Could probably even bump that up with a 5/6 speed (whichever these come with, I forget). 'Cause I love the 6, but thanks to my stupid truck I'm now under the impression that everything with a motor bigger than 2.5L and 4 cylinders is the most inefficient thing ever. My truck in it's hay-day got 248 miles in one tank. Now I don't even know, but it sucks. Have you had to do any basic maintenance yet? How much did they cost if you did?

I have been looking at one and might get it, it shakes at around 40mph so I have to find out why, its cloth interior, 118,000 miles on it. 04 mazda6. It is a goldish color to it. Would love to get a respray for it like that blue or black, get blue or red Tail/head lights, then get a spoiler (wonder how much that would cost). Also doesnt the dashboard light up red at night?

You need a BMW with the comfort seat option. 20 way power adjustable and extendable thigh support. I wish I could get one of those seats for cheap and make a computer chair out of it lol.

@talldude123 Speaking out of owning a 2003 Toyota Camry XLE. The interior is quite nice and better than the Mazda 6. The faster Camry is the 2006 on up Camry V6. Fast as heck. HP ratings says nothing though.
