I just beat dmc 3 after playing it for the first time ever, and it was everything it was said to be. It was also challenging too as I died quite a bit and pulling my hair out, but wouldn’t have any other way
The western release is hard asf but I absolutely love it, it feels so rewarding to beat a boss after like 10+ tries and the normal enemies are challenging but not too hard
The US version had swapped difficulty so medium was hard and hard was medium, also Vergil had adaptive AI to a certain degree, he could parry you if you were getting a little to aggressive and he could read your moves if you were spamming to much, don’t know why they tone it down in the later releases
Capcom absolutely blows the era of the arcades and PS2. anyone agrees with me? Though the PS3 era is good too, I've played some like the DmC reboot and UMvC3 so yeah there's that.
Honestly..i still play this game when i am bored and I already got plat on it. It just slaps and its so satisfying no matter of you play as dante or Vergil
I love this game the same way as DMC3! Easily one of my favorite games of 2005 and 2006; and my god isn't DMC3 fire ever since the first five minutes before Mission 1 starts, furthermore continuing the joyous camp and quality as the game progresses. The soundtrack is a favorite of mine alongside the franchise's OSTs; Taste The Blood combines the hilarity and sarcasm which fits Dante's personality compared to Subhuman in DMC5, as well as having the feels of music from KMFDM, debut Celldweller, or hell even My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, among other industrial musicians as the inspiration spreads to the vocal-laden/instrumental songs(both for battle and boss themes). Devil May Cry 3 is perfect to test my wee ass Game Journalist spirit, and I'm up to the challenge ever since mid October of 2021!
i actually fucking love that this video is on 720 and quite compressed, reminds me of the past decade when people couldnt upload higher than that. i 100% agree with the difficulty bullshit penalizing people who are already horrible, i played this on the original release on normal me and my step dad never turned down the difficulty and we also never understood how to "combo" (i learned that WAAAY later when i had gotten a 360 and dmc4) we just kept using rebellion normal 3 hit and usual pause because it had higher AOE, and stinger, when we got the bazooka we never changed it back. and the second weapon was always agni and rudra because it was just another sword and easy to use. the most bullshit fight to us was also agni and rudra, i still remember till this day one of the few times back then that he let me stay up until the sun rising for us to kill that boss we kept retrying the whole stage over and over until we got it and looked out of the window and indeed the sun was about to peak out. i am pretty sure we used more trickster due to the dash saving us a lot but we didnt even understood that properly either so we ended up rolling more either way. the thing i hate the most about capcom nowdays is that itsuno begged for dmc5 to be created for it to then have more grounded and normal looking level design and architecture than a ps2 tittle that went so fucking hard on surrealism the last quarter of the game is literally escher paintings put on polygons. i still hate that nowdays the only game that still has that ps2 capcom feel is literally Bayonetta and i cannot recommend that series enough, i had never seen pacing and peak setpieces for levels go as hard as that game in my life, and i really miss old time capcom due to that.
Secret thing as well. In the fight with Arkham, when Vergil shows up, also any time you use dopple ganger, if you had a controller in port 2 the game becomes multiplayer as a second person can control Vergil or the shade!
But, you can replay previous missions, select the easiest and shortest mission solely just to collect red orbs as much as you want then buy your upgrades and items to the max Then proceed to your current mission. Orbs, items and upgrades will be carried throughout the entire game its not a glitch.

This game is 3 years older than me :O
I played through DMC 3 today and it's so fun (exept for shitty enemies of course). I'll just have to better my combos and then i'll MOTIVATE everyone!
Never played this serie but after getting into Bayonetta these past couple weeks, im really interested
I highly recommend checking it out, it's a great series
@@Slyfrik only the last few were good. Dmc1 and 2 have aged so insanely poorly that I genuinely believe games like dmc1 have some of worst ageing in gaming history

I just beat dmc 3 after playing it for the first time ever, and it was everything it was said to be. It was also challenging too as I died quite a bit and pulling my hair out, but wouldn’t have any other way
ah ... God Hand music ,so you're a man of culture .
Awesome video bro. Keep 'em coming.
Bewolf be like abueno adiós master me voy por que se me quema el pollo
4:27 nice going with the God Hand track
The western release is hard asf but I absolutely love it, it feels so rewarding to beat a boss after like 10+ tries and the normal enemies are challenging but not too hard
It's pretty annoying to fight them on harder difficulty
Played and beat the US released of DMC 3 and didn't know it was so damn hard. Man, I miss those days.
Though the PS3 era is good too, I've played some like the DmC reboot and UMvC3 so yeah there's that.
resident evil 4 2005 is banger too , 2 games of my childchood not gonna lie
Dante in cinematic: gets impaled by 5 scythes
Dante in gameplay: gets slapped twice
Also Dante: … dies
Devil May Cry 3? More like, Banger May Cry 3.
yes yes yes
Honestly..i still play this game when i am bored and I already got plat on it. It just slaps and its so satisfying no matter of you play as dante or Vergil
Fallen are trivial to kill by throwing Rebelion at them and then follow-up with charges pistols.
"Spiral has a big cooldown animation"
Royal guard mains: what is a cooldown? 🧐
Great video made my day really
This was my very first video game that i fell in love with
At a job interview I will tell my boss that I completed the DMC 3
i actually fucking love that this video is on 720 and quite compressed, reminds me of the past decade when people couldnt upload higher than that.
i 100% agree with the difficulty bullshit penalizing people who are already horrible, i played this on the original release on normal me and my step dad never turned down the difficulty and we also never understood how to "combo" (i learned that WAAAY later when i had gotten a 360 and dmc4) we just kept using rebellion normal 3 hit and usual pause because it had higher AOE, and stinger, when we got the bazooka we never changed it back. and the second weapon was always agni and rudra because it was just another sword and easy to use.
the most bullshit fight to us was also agni and rudra, i still remember till this day one of the few times back then that he let me stay up until the sun rising for us to kill that boss we kept retrying the whole stage over and over until we got it and looked out of the window and indeed the sun was about to peak out.
i am pretty sure we used more trickster due to the dash saving us a lot but we didnt even understood that properly either so we ended up rolling more either way.
the thing i hate the most about capcom nowdays is that itsuno begged for dmc5 to be created for it to then have more grounded and normal looking level design and architecture than a ps2 tittle that went so fucking hard on surrealism the last quarter of the game is literally escher paintings put on polygons.
i still hate that nowdays the only game that still has that ps2 capcom feel is literally Bayonetta and i cannot recommend that series enough, i had never seen pacing and peak setpieces for levels go as hard as that game in my life, and i really miss old time capcom due to that.
Secret thing as well. In the fight with Arkham, when Vergil shows up, also any time you use dopple ganger, if you had a controller in port 2 the game becomes multiplayer as a second person can control Vergil or the shade!
I don't know if i am the only one noticing this but my guy here put god hand music in the background absolutely OG bro
But, you can replay previous missions, select the easiest and shortest mission solely just to collect red orbs as much as you want then buy your upgrades and items to the max Then proceed to your current mission. Orbs, items and upgrades will be carried throughout the entire game its not a glitch.

6:13 the shotgun enjoyer are coming for you and it’s actually good for stunning things like blood Bats
finally someone admits this. I used to complete the whole game in a day, over and over again, it was awesome.
