Looking forward to uncharted 2 on crushing! Ive been trying to beat all them on crushing and u1 really was tough lol now I'm doing among thieves. I did beat u2 years ago on crushing though so I think I can do it again.
Drakes fortune is the only game in the whole series that I’ve ran out of ammo in any weapon it’s crazy how you get so low ammo drops it’s like every shot has to be head shot on crushing you’ll barely have enough to finish
Once you get to chapter 4 after the plane crash, you truly see the difficulty and bs you’ll be dealing with for the rest of the game, and there’s no turning back.
Around that period might’ve been the hardest part of the game. I’m glad I had the PS3 version and Brutal wasn’t offered, so I wouldn’t be tempted to try it. I figure maybe I could do it on Uncharted 3, but I doubt this first game on Brutal. Also, Lazaravich on 2 on Crushing was as hard as I’m willing to go. Yes, I know there are ways to cheese him; but that’s not for me.
Yeah that's the hardest section of the whole game. Or maybe that's just the part that teaches you to the most how to deal with this mode and therefore the rest feels slightly easier.
@@v1nniacb452Jus in case you didn't get the trophy yet, replay chapter 17 and keep killing the monsters in the vault. They keep respawning. With the one-shot kill and infinite ammo tweaks it's very easy.
This is incredibly hilarious, it's been a long time since I found an hilarious playthrough without forced or cringey jokes. I just started my crushing playthrough and with ever chapter I complete I rewatch your reaction to that chapter, having someone to share my misery is comforting at least. I feel bad for you to discover the "cover trick" so late in the game but you know what they say, better late than ever!
It was a pain in the ass when the mercenaries weapons like the M4 and the 92FS started appearing (Chapter 11 and 13 I think). Before that, it was OK, even at my first run. But I fcking hated Chapter 14-22
Just beat crushing a few hours ago, and it took around 13 hours total. Four of those hours were towards Chapter 8 and 9. The enemy shootouts where you sometimes had to kill 15 guys with zero checkpoints and the jet ski sections got me killed the most. I also hate the shootout in the church during Chapter 20; way to many snipers and grenade launchers.
one thing that made the crushing run a little bit easier for me was that when you shoot 3 times starting from the mid section of the npc's chest the recoil makes the sight of the handgun line up perfectly for a headshot.
I suffered through these games on brutal, and as hard as 1 can be in certain sections I can’t wait to see you play 2 on brutal. The train and monastery will forever live rent free in my head. Those segments dethroned the blue room
I beat this on Brutal and, in retrospect, it was a mistake too. High difficulties seriously detract from the intended game experience of Uncharted. All you can do on Brutal is sit behind a cover and try to shoot everyone in the head. Each encounter takes 3-20 attempts. When I beat the final boss, I felt more annoyed than anything.
Train is definitely up there, not sure which segment of the monastery you mean. Overall uncharted 1 felt way harder, but maybe that's just because it's the 1st one I did on brutal.
Much respect. Uncharted is a series I'm comfortable beating on normal or difficult. Once it gets to the "brutal" or " insane" difficulty I politely decline.
Did i ever tell you the definition of insanity? Insanity is dying a lot on brutal over and over and OVER again, expecting shit to change. That. Is. Crazy.
FYI. This game uses Hit-Scan. So as long as the crosshair is on the enemies. It will Hit. So I do not mantle on cover. I just stand behind it and place the crosshair on their head for easy kill. Just sharing my past Crushing experience. Have Fun! :)
I found this out, too. Also if you trigger encounters and immediately backtrack to better cover, enemies will start to rush you and mowing them down close range is easier.
I finished Crushing without much problem, but I can tell you this was my experience playing on Brutal 💀 I got so traumatized that didn't even wanted to try it in the other 3 games, f*ck Brutal
I did these a year or two back, and it must have taken that long to forget how miserable Crushing is because my lizard brain has been considering playing on Brutal. Thanks for the video, I will now go reevaluate my life choices.
I just platinum’d uncharted 2 and I can assure that it was a goddamn pain in the ass. Nothing could’ve prepared me to the lazarevich fight on crushing that I almost gave up. Less than 24h later I platinum’d uncharted 4 and that was 10 times easier
I don’t know how this got recommended to me but I’m so glad it did as I cried of laughter for the entirety of the video. When Uncharted 1 came out, I was 12 and I remember trying to get the platinum trophy. Crushing difficulty enraged me so hard I snapped the disk in half while my brother was laughing his ass off at me raging like a madman. It’s the only disk I ever broke and can you even blame me for it? Imagine a 12 year old going through the same pain you expressed in each section.
I love how cover shooters have you pop completely out of cover to shoot someone, exposing yourself to every single enemy. I often just stand a bit behind the cover and aim around the right corner, but it’s often an exploit since enemies can’t see your character while your reticle has no problem tickling them.
This guy deserves more than 7k subscribers. Uncharted++ aka all of them were my childhood, and u just made it into such a good comedy ngl, u fr made my childhood memories and my day bruv thxx
15:00 “deadshot” is the only word to describe this menace. I’ve spent probably 6-9 deaths trying to figure out how to kill him. I had to get lucky and draw him out so I could mag dump him behind cover. This part almost made me rage quit the game ngl.
I just beat this on crushing. It had been a while since I wanted to throw my controller, so that was nostalgic. Now I'm here to validate my suffering. Before I actually make it through the video, I MUST vent: Holy fuck, those powerful pistols make me want to slap someone. One hit kills on a ranged weapon with enemies that aim more accurately than a pro... it's literally worse than rockets and grenade launchers. Some spots are so ridiculously unfair (like "here, have some instant kill enemies while you're running up these stairs with no cover") that I ended up memorizing trigger points for enemies just so I can run back and hide in a corner by the door that just closed and locked behind me without anyone's interaction or consent. And on top of all of that, the controls become so much jankier when every motion actually matters. Like when I first played the series, I was like "okay, these controls are simple enough so I don't have to overthink." But now I'm like "for the love of God, turn O into three other buttons, please. PLEASE." AND STOP GODDAMN STICKING TO WALLS THAT DON'T PROTECT YOU, I'M LITERALLY TRYING TO DODGE BUT YOU WON'T LET ME. AND STOP GODDAMN GRABBING THAT DUDE THAT RAN UP TO YOU, I'M LITERALLY JUST TRYING TO DODGE. (more relevant to future titles, but a very valid complaint, tbh.) Ok, I'm good. :) Edit: I do want to seriously emphasize how badly they messed up with cover in this game versus the future Uncharted titles. One reason is that I've died from enemies shooting me while we're on opposite sides of cover (which one could argue is fair because we can shoot enemies under cover, BUT we can't go prone and they can so...), but also, there are specific formations that are angled so you aren't actually protected, particularly at the beginning of chapter 11 "Trapped."
I played Uncharted 1-4 all on crushing and I honestly didn't have as many issues playing through 1-3 on Crushing as I was mostly aiming for headshots and the entire experience was honestly a blast for me, however, Uncharted 4's crushing was the worst in my opinion and that is due to severe balancing issues that were never quite ironed out such as certain weapons not being available on Crushing as well as the general lack of ammo which was extremely frustrating.
i think some endgame encounters are outright impossible without the needed grenades. Especially Averys House and the Tunnel Encounter. Absolute crap fights
not to mention, the original ps3 version doesn't have the grenade quick throw with L2 and you have to aim it, and that's not even where the problems end! You have to move the controller up and down to increase distance of the grenades and you leave yourself even more exposed so enemies have more time to kill you. Nice vid btw
In all my years of gaming have never fully broken a controller or mouse. Until last week playing Uncharted one. On NORMAL mode. The ps3 controller probably had some dust in the d-pad causing it glitch and randomly select weapons, especially grenades. After dying over and over and over and then the random weapon select glitch reset the entire battle just before the checkpoint. I tapped the controller against the ground in an attempt to maybe dislodge the dust. The handle snapped!... somewhere deep inside me from a dark valley I didn't know existed came forth a beast. I slammed the controller to the floor, bits of plastic darting across the tile. The beast liked. I slammed it again and again, getting out of my chair and pursuing the largest chunks with a vengeance. Happy was the beast. Down to the circuit board I crushed my foe and ripped the battery right out. The beast, satisfied, retired from the field of battle. Goodbye red controller. Your replacement is in the mail as is the third game, cant wait to finish the series.
I come back to watch this video now and then.. Still one of my favourite videos ever on yt. I’d love to see you do more challenges like this! (Btw i watched this when it had been out for 43 minutes)
I know I'm a year late at this but the "problem" with the grenade throwing in NDC was that in the original PS3 version, using grenades was bound to the Down DPAD button as a separate weapon where you had to aim it manually too like a gun. So in the NDC somehow mapped it to the L1 button but still mechanically worked like the PS3 version where you were never in cover in the first place if you use a grenade. TL;DR UC1 PS3 version you were never in cover using grenades.
I did beat Uncharted 1 on the crushing difficulty as well and one thing I realized is that you need to get accustomed to the cover mechanic, abuse the shoot behind cover and the walk and shoot without aiming mechanic I wouldn't use those much in the previous difficulties and I would just always aim with L2 trying to get headshots but on crushing you just must learn to use those and adapt quickly, especially if the enemies tries to flank you. It makes you play the game in a way you never played before, you must be extremely patient and let the enemy come to you so you can shoot them blindly from behind the cover because you can't expose yourself too much or you'll die. You also need to use weapons like the shotgun efficiently with the run and shoot mechanic since it's able to one shot enemies It was crushing but it was fun and I usually hate Bs difficulties in games
shit is hard , but i did it like 10 times , i’ve played all the uncharted games on crushing a unhealthy amount of times… i love the uncharted series ❤️
16:42 I have love the chapter cover 24:30 I also love how this cover is distorted unlike its counterpart, foreshadowing just how much hell this chapter will be
I remember choosing crushing difficulty on my first playthrough and it was my first time playing an uncharted game. INSTALY got the hand of it lolololol
@@GimbalosMorkinar Well, I know that in the PS3 version you have to beat the game on hard mode to unlock crushing, but in the PS4 Drake Collection it's already available.
Good video, mate! Crushing difficulty is generally broken in Uncharted games. You see... The gameplay in Uncharted is designed to be fast-paced and punctuated by daring improvised feats. You're not supposed to play these games like typical cover shooters. You're supposed to run around the arenas, engage enemies in spontaneous melee combat, flank them, jump on top of them etc. You're meant to be a bada$$ action hero who relies on improvisation and agility. Devs even said multiple times that the games are designed in a way to "encourage players to change position often". Once you're camping for too long, enemies will start throwing grenades at you to MAKE YOU reposition. Crushing diffuculty completely ruins this gameplay philosophy. It's no longer possible to get close to enemies to engage in melee combat, you can't improvise and you can't run around the arena. The enemies are so precise and deadly, you basically have to camp behind covers at all times and pop out for a split second to hit a headshot. Crushing difficulty sucks all the fun from Uncharted gameplay and turns it into an insufferable and more importantly BORING experience.
And the worst part is if you want the brutal trophy, you first have to suffer through crushing. So you have to suffer twice to get all the difficulty based trophies. Hell no.
@@Slyfrik I once used the infinite ammo & one shot kill glitch combined to stand a slight chance against Brutal because it was that annoying, very *very* annoying. I wanted them to feel the pain I’m experiencing from them. In fact lots & lots of trophy hunters did the exact same thing since this mode is more bullshit than Crushing. Crushing mode is really hard but at least it was doable, hell even I didn’t cheat on that mode. Brutal mode however is nearly impossible but doable if you can endure the torture with enemies taking more hits while you get 1 or 2 shotted. I did this back in 2015.
@Slyfrik I play the Uncharted games on Brutal every time I upgrade my console currently doing my PS5 run through extremely difficult to platinum on Brutal.
Just played uncharted 1-2-3 remastered and now playing 4 and i ll say this video really made my day. Its really good to see comrades in arm who also suffered this bullshit.
I didn't have any problem with this game. I've done it twice actually. My one tip for anyone trying to do this is on the blue room just backtrack until you get to the turret and use it to shoot in the direction of the blue room. When you come back the enemies will spawn in and ignore you while they jump down into the hole and then it's like shooting fish in a barrel.
Since you are unstoppable as you are saying let's see you now trying to beat all 3 uncharted games on brutal difficulty, it's high time you prove your worth my friend
I chose this difficulty on my first playthrough of this series thinking, "Hmph, it's an action adventure game, how hard could it be". Boy, did it left a sour taste in my mouth. The terrible enemy placement, loose gunplay and shoddy cover system (which i spent half the playthrough trying to wrangle the system) did not give me a first good impressions of this series. Thankfully i chose hard from Uncharted 2 onwards amd i enjoyed it alot more. Plus that game fixed almost all the issues with the first game. It was awesome.
i dont know how youtube suggest me this vídeo!! But thanks YT!!!!! It´s One of the bests videos in last years in youtube!! and english is not my native language!!! Congratulations from Brazil!!
Great video man! I'm playing on crushing difficult to get the platinum, I've already got it on uncharted 2,3 and 4 so I think its worth suffer in this game too lol. You've got another sub mate! Make more uncharted videos please, its my favourite franchise :)
I remember playing it on crushing difficulty so i could get the platinum trophy. I used glitches to skip over chapters. Never will i play any uncharted game on crushing. Uncharted 3 was hell
the hardest is a broken difficulty, because it was added in the remaster- by blue point, and the game is not designed around that. Crushing on the other hand, is perfectly doable and is designed to work fine, i've done it in all 3 uncharted games.
Beating crushing on the original PS3 near the release of Uncharted 2 in 2009 was a great achievement back then. Beating it again 2015 brought back memories. Then Bluepoint games decides to screw many players by putting a new mode and have players die instantly, even after respawning.
I finished Uncharted 1 & 2 on crushing difficulty recently bc enough time finally passed that I didn’t remember all the plots from the first time I played them. Although I died a lot, I found beating such a difficulty very rewarding! I started 3 on crushing but my ps4 began to eject the disk. Maybe it was scratched? Overall I remember I didn’t enjoy 3 as much so I just watched a recap and I’m about to start 4 on crushing. Uncharted might be my favorite videogame series! Seriously underrated
this is the most accurate video concerning this game on crushing, the water room and the fact that the ak takes 10 million shots to kill One pirate caused me to tone down the difficulty to hard
@@chillperson I'm the type who doesn't like to look up strategies, just because then I tend to feel guilt after the fact, but damn, I would've killed for that glitch at the time, lol. I'm actually playing Majora's Mask now and I'm getting to the point where I'm tempted to look up a strategy for something, but trying to resist it. It's funny, since the difficulty of more modern games and older games are quite different, but all can be equally hard in different ways. I know my limits, and I suspect I could never beat the Uncharted games on Brutal, so I'm not about to try them.
I beat this game on Crushing two time. How I beat it is work smarter, not harder mindset. All the enemies have patterns to their shooting and reloading, use the blind hip when enemies get too close to you if possible, use grenades to take down multiple enemies at once or take down a annoying enemy that is killing you a lot in a encounter, dodge a lot, and more importantly have a lot of patience. The only thing I find BS is once you get to the later chapters where you fighting military instead of Pirates, they will flank you a lot and have grenades launcher enemies as normal enemies and those enemies ONE SHOT you if you not careful enough, Witt the military enemies, you targeted the annoying enemies first, Sniper, Grenades Launcher, then deal the ones that are flanking and getting to close, and of they get too close, try and dodge out of cover to another closer cover. The supernatural enemies is easy to deal with, which is just hip fire and run and dodge if they get too close. The final chapter is the most difficult one out of the rest but you completely it once you play smart and have patience. Patience in Crushing is the most crucial and important thing to have in this difficulty mode. Oh by the way, if your screen is gray, IMMEDIATELY go back into your cover and wait to regenerate your health. That is also very useful and important to not dying a lot. And later in the chapters, when enemies flask a lot, try you best to immediately go to a cover far from the enemy when you gray. It not worth continuing shooting when you on gray screen. It best to retreat into cover and wait to health to come back. You can also use enemies that get closer or flanking to your advantage, since they get closer, hip fire from cover make it easier to finish them faster and you won’t have to endanger yourself. Sorry if I edit this multiple time. But these are the stuff I learn from playing Crushing. Must have patience and keep calm.
Honestly, crushing is a lot easier if you dont use cover and abuse the third person perspective behind a cover. It makes it way easier since you get hit way less if done right.
Congratulations as someone who has also been through hell you’ve achieved great things! Never try Brutal unless you wish to spend multiple months trying to beat it.
@@masterlee1988 yeah died more there than any souls game ever, compared to brutal those games are easy. I would happily do it again not for the end but for the reminder of hardship to get through.

By the way. I actually did the blue room section by activating the enemies before I dropped inside the room by exploding a barrel outside using the ma vine gun from the truck. So the fact that you finished it normally, FIRST TIME is genuinely a very high mix of skill and luck. But mostly luck cause you know how the AI is. Either it’s blind, or it’s on aimbot.
I remember getting all the Uncharted games for free from PS Plus, and I thought, "Dunkey recommends playing on crushing so that's what I'm going to do!" I could never have imagined the frustration that awaited me. But I did it. I beat all 4 Uncharted games on crushing when I was like 15

I've only played this game on hard. I couldn't beat Rafe in Uncharted 4 on crushing difficulty. The only reason I got that far was because I internally raged. I already had infinite ammo on. So I paused the game, went to guns, and selected the RPG. This happened on chapter 12, by the way.
Playing this game for the first time ever and stupidly said f it and went crushing mode lol. Played it for weeks and frustrated as hell at the same areas in your vid. then stopped over a year ago for no real reason. I just recently tried playing again and didn’t realize I stopped at the infamous blue room. So far I’ve died 50 times I think lol. Sh*t is stupid hard. I forgot the controls too so that’s doesn’t help. I decided to look at a walkthrough and found your video. Great vid btw and it gives me motivation to finish the game. Then onward to the rest of the series.
Some years back, I was playing on crushing. Unfortunately, my save file became corrupted while I was on the last jet ski level. However, playing on the “Nathan Drake Collection”, I eventually came back and beat the game on brutal.
You can cheese crushing difficulty by exploiting the aiming system. The aiming doesn't take into account the player model and position of the gun, so whatever you're aming at, the shot will land on the crosshair, the bullet will go through the wall. This means that you can use walls without using the cover system, just normal aiming; the AI will struggle to hit you because you're almost completely covered. This made the crushing difficulty run much easier on the PS3. EDIT : Comment was written at the start of the video. I noticed you started using said exploit, without it everyone would have lost their sanity huh
I remember playing all 3 games on Crushing and 1 was an excruciating experience. The basics were to not use cover where possible, but stay behind the obstacle (pillar) and use the unrealistic way the game uses perspective - where Drake can shoot at the crosshair, but the enemies fire at the obstacle between them and Nate.
I played all Uncharted games in order on crushing. And I honestly though Uncharted 4 was the hardest one 😂😅 Maybe I should try the first one on brutal and see how it goes? 😂 UPDATE!! I just finished it on Brutal! 💪
Brutal mode Picture dying then the screen fades to black, then to fade back just for you to respawn just for you to die 0.1 seconds just for the screen to fade to black then fades back and you die instantly. That’s the jeep section in Uncharted 1 brutal mode, or the train in the snowy mountains in Uncharted 2 in a nutshell.
I finished U1 on crushing today, took me 3 days (playing a bit at a time). I’m by no means a great gamer so I’m surprised I did it so fast… Most sequences were doable after a few tries, but my controller suffered from my rage on certain fights… as well as my finger after I hit the controller too hard (hurt it pretty bad)😅 My tip for anybody is to always find cover, and if there’s none, run back to where you previously were and fight from a distance. Take your time, and don’t rush or else you’ll inevitably die. If you play using a TV screen (like me) then sit as close to it as possible, makes aiming easier. Always be wise about weapons and ammunition, this WILL contribute to your success in beating crushing. edit: those are just some of my tips, if you want more, reply to this comment and i’ll give you many more 😁
Yeah, I've never had any problems in the blue room, so I'm always confused when I hear people have trouble with it. Like even on crushing I've never died to that one room... pretty much everywhere else yes, but not that room.
I think headphones help a lot in that section because enemies spawn from every direction with shotguns and if you don't know where they are they can kill you pretty quickly
There is a glitch for that room that makes enemies spawn without needing to go down from the safe area. What you need to do is just go back to the place with trucks and explosive then return to the area you were at and it should work
definitely U2 was the hardest (maybe cuz its also my least favourite) and U3 was the easiest out of the 3 but still pain. I genuinely believe that Naughty Dog can't do proper difficulties (except TLOU), so after that challenge whenever I come back to any Uncharted I play on vey easy/easy cuz it's just more fun that way. U4 is more fair on crushing but some BS is still present there.

That. Is. Crazy.
@@regorn01😂😂😂
Love how half the shooting gameplay is the crosshair darting around frantically.
Controller shooters truly are a treasure.
Uncharted got big props for its characters, graphics, and story. The gameplay in 1 was... very not good compared to later games.
The pain on PS3 is the worst
@@manwiththemachinegunThey definitely got better as they went lol, still love this game though
FYI. This game uses Hit-Scan. So as long as the crosshair is on the enemies. It will Hit. So I do not mantle on cover. I just stand behind it and place the crosshair on their head for easy kill. Just sharing my past Crushing experience. Have Fun! :)
he does that
Till the enemies do the matrix moves
I found this out, too. Also if you trigger encounters and immediately backtrack to better cover, enemies will start to rush you and mowing them down close range is easier.
It's great to see you finished the entire game on Crushing difficulty! Well done. Now try out Brutal difficulty lol
I finished Crushing without much problem, but I can tell you this was my experience playing on Brutal 💀 I got so traumatized that didn't even wanted to try it in the other 3 games, f*ck Brutal
Respect, brother. Brutal difficulty makes you go insane.
@@regorn012 and 3 were actually beatable on brutal but 1?!!!!!1!
I did these a year or two back, and it must have taken that long to forget how miserable Crushing is because my lizard brain has been considering playing on Brutal. Thanks for the video, I will now go reevaluate my life choices.
I saved your life Gabe. Remember, you owe me now
do it. you have to.
I can't even pass it in easy mode, I always end up asking my brothers for help, you have all my respect ✨️
Can’t wait to see you do this on the rest of the uncharted series
You can use blindfire in Uncharted
This guy deserves more than 7k subscribers. Uncharted++ aka all of them were my childhood, and u just made it into such a good comedy ngl, u fr made my childhood memories and my day bruv thxx
i don’t usually comment on videos but this cracked me up hard, perfectly describes my playthrough i’m currently doing😢
Glad you enjoyed it mate! Good luck on your playthrough!
15:00 “deadshot” is the only word to describe this menace. I’ve spent probably 6-9 deaths trying to figure out how to kill him. I had to get lucky and draw him out so I could mag dump him behind cover. This part almost made me rage quit the game ngl.
Man I finished this on my channel on easy and gosh it seemed so hard. Can't even imagine how crushing is. Congrats! You have my respect!
Crushing is basically 2 pistol shots, You're dead
The only way to make it somewhat easier is to only go for headshot, otherwise it’s goodnight El Dorado
Yeah getting headshots is really important in this difficulty
Would be easy if all the enemies didn’t have Spidey sense and dodge as soon as the bullet leaves your gun
I just beat this on crushing. It had been a while since I wanted to throw my controller, so that was nostalgic.
Now I'm here to validate my suffering.
Before I actually make it through the video, I MUST vent:
Holy fuck, those powerful pistols make me want to slap someone.
PLEASE."
AND STOP GODDAMN STICKING TO WALLS THAT DON'T PROTECT YOU, I'M LITERALLY TRYING TO DODGE BUT YOU WON'T LET ME.
AND STOP GODDAMN GRABBING THAT DUDE THAT RAN UP TO YOU, I'M LITERALLY JUST TRYING TO DODGE. (more relevant to future titles, but a very valid complaint, tbh.)
Ok, I'm good. :)
Edit: I do want to seriously emphasize how badly they messed up with cover in this game versus the future Uncharted titles.
It's nice to know i wasn't the only one that suffered greatly in this difficulity
I remember how victorious I felt when I finally beat crushing, then I realized there was a brutal difficulty…
Duuude this video is of a million views, how the hell you have only 1.4k ??? I feel VIP myself for watching this hidden gem
The pain you went through is basically me on easy difficulty.
not to mention, the original ps3 version doesn't have the grenade quick throw with L2 and you have to aim it, and that's not even where the problems end!
I love this
I remember completely on crushing around a year ago and thinking this was the hardest thing this planet. Then I played in brutal mode...
You also need to use weapons like the shotgun efficiently with the run and shoot mechanic since it's able to one shot enemies
It was crushing but it was fun and I usually hate Bs difficulties in games
This made me want to play the entire uncharted series all over again, it's such a masterpiece
Hell yeah, I may even go for the brutal mode in the remastered trilogy!
The first one is kind of a stain on the series but it’s only up from there
Whenever I rage or lost hope while playing Spec Ops the line on SM or FUBAR I come to this video to laugh off is so amazing.
shit is hard , but i did it like 10 times , i’ve played all the uncharted games on crushing a unhealthy amount of times… i love the uncharted series ❤️
16:42 I have love the chapter cover
24:30 I also love how this cover is distorted unlike its counterpart, foreshadowing just how much hell this chapter will be
I love this video. You expressed a lot of my emotions while getting this plat.
I was waiting for you to find out the Cover-no-cover "mechanic". I was really impressed that your sanity was big enough to not go crazy.
What is that?
I remember choosing crushing difficulty on my first playthrough and it was my first time playing an uncharted game. INSTALY got the hand of it lolololol
Were u able to enjoy the story with such hard difficulty?
Sounds like a lie. You had to complete it on hard in the original game to unlock crushing.
@@ozbej5988 I did enjoy the story I just like playing Singleplayer games on their hardest difficulty and It was one of my first platinum's too.
@@GimbalosMorkinar Well, I know that in the PS3 version you have to beat the game on hard mode to unlock crushing, but in the PS4 Drake Collection it's already available.
@@rad1774 Aight didn't know that.
Hell no.
You can use cheats on brutal though

I remember playing it on crushing difficulty so i could get the platinum trophy. I used glitches to skip over chapters. Never will i play any uncharted game on crushing. Uncharted 3 was hell
Probably the most entertaining and funniest uncharted 1 video on yt 😂 Great job
the hardest is a broken difficulty, because it was added in the remaster- by blue point, and the game is not designed around that.
This is beautiful editing
Thank you!
this is the first time I can relate to someone discussing Uncharted 1's Crushing Difficulty.
this is the most accurate video concerning this game on crushing, the water room and the fact that the ak takes 10 million shots to kill One pirate caused me to tone down the difficulty to hard
nevermind crushing is nothing compared to brutal
Water room was maybe the hardest part of the game for me on Crushing.
@@chambeet I think the entirety of chapter 4 was the hardest part for me because you can use a glitch to make the water room super easy
200.000 views, congratulations!!! 👍
Thank you
I did this game in easy level and i still died plenty of times
That's what I did on Blood Stone 007 when I played on the hardest difficulty, since enemies can kill you in just a hit or two.
For someone who died over 500 times while doing Brutal difficulty across all 4 games. Is just like that.
Congratulations as someone who has also been through hell you’ve achieved great things!
Never try Brutal unless you wish to spend multiple months trying to beat it.

The blue room isn't that bad compared to the last 2 chapters. I swear to god that beating chapter 21 is just pure luck

0:00 I thought same thing, damn this game was hard
Yeah you could say it's very..... crushing (I'm sorry)
I got through that difficulty using cheats, and I'm proud to have done it because it was pretty hard
As long as you got it done that’s all that matters. Fuck how you did it 😂.
UPDATE!! I just finished it on Brutal! 💪
Brutal mode
Picture dying then the screen fades to black, then to fade back just for you to respawn just for you to die 0.1 seconds just for the screen to fade to black then fades back and you die instantly. That’s the jeep section in Uncharted 1 brutal mode, or the train in the snowy mountains in Uncharted 2 in a nutshell.
I finished U1 on crushing today, took me 3 days (playing a bit at a time). I’m by no means a great gamer so I’m surprised I did it so fast…
Most sequences were doable after a few tries, but my controller suffered from my rage on certain fights… as well as my finger after I hit the controller too hard (hurt it pretty bad)😅
My tip for anybody is to always find cover, and if there’s none, run back to where you previously were and fight from a distance. Take your time, and don’t rush or else you’ll inevitably die. If you play using a TV screen (like me) then sit as close to it as possible, makes aiming easier. Always be wise about weapons and ammunition, this WILL contribute to your success in beating crushing.
edit: those are just some of my tips, if you want more, reply to this comment and i’ll give you many more 😁
Next up is Brutal difficulty.
This game is challenging at some parts on easy. I salute you brother.
What you need to do is just go back to the place with trucks and explosive then return to the area you were at and it should work
How am I discovering this now , and why is this guy not famous 💯
don't play on brutal man...

My man how the fuck did you do all three games on brutal? RESPECT
definitely U2 was the hardest (maybe cuz its also my least favourite) and U3 was the easiest out of the 3 but still pain. I genuinely believe that Naughty Dog can't do proper difficulties (except TLOU), so after that challenge whenever I come back to any Uncharted I play on vey easy/easy cuz it's just more fun that way. U4 is more fair on crushing but some BS is still present there.
