It’s all so sad. I watched swamp loggers from the begging on tv and on TH-cam. I will truly miss watching you and your family and your crew do what you do. Best of luck to all of you in the future and I hope this isn’t the last we see you
Sir, I want to thank you for teaching me (through your shows) how to be a better employer, and over all, a better person. Bobby, you have stood firm on your beliefs and faith no matter what was "popular" on TV at the time. At this moment, there are 535+ comments from people like myself, that are not only supportive, but are praying for you and yours. Not too shabby for a country boy from North Carolina, Huh? God Bless, Sir... and Thank You.
Damn,I'm sorry to see you going out,Bobby,I watched you on TV for years and I'd say to myself, now there's a man to workfor takes care of his workers,God bless you Bobby, your family, and your workers

Thank you for being inspiration to me Bobby. I watched the show as kid and have always been blown away at what ya'll have accomplished. Living in Pennsylvania we'd never dream of trying to work the ground you have for more years then I've been alive. You started logging when I was 5 years old. And Justin should be passing the business down long after your gone. But that's of no fault of your own. And like my grandfather with his trucking company you went out on your terms. Enjoy retirement spend time with your family you earned it. And thank you for entertaining us for all these years.
I'm happy to see Timmy Bowling helping Bobby out known Timmy many years knew his father Harlow all my life good folks . Bobby I hate to see it all come to this .
I greatly appreciate everything you’ve done with our logging industry! I’m pin hook nc born an raised and I’m gonna miss seeing your trucks around! Stay safe An keep praying for our leaders!
God Bless you Bobby your family and team from ATL thank you for sharing your journey in the swamp with the world, coming at yall from Melbourne Australia 🇭🇲
Like others I first saw you on TV and then on TH-cam. Having retired and been in leadership, I found you to have some of the best leadership skills I have seen in my career. I wish you the very best.
You guys are more than amazing people, you logged in impossible environments successfully 👍. You guys are what every single logging company around the world have tried to measure up to , you set the bar anyone in the industry big and small would say that if asked. We have a small logging company in michigan, we select cut specific species for small and medium sized mills around here. I wouldn't have ever thought to start this business if not for swamp loggers . I don't think we've ever missed an episode, I think my wife has some of them memorized from me watching them so much over the years, you are such an inspiration the whole crew. I wish we could give back to you all that we got . Thank you ( the johnston family 👪 )
I used to Swim in White Lake and I stayed in an Old Hunting Cabin on The Bivens Bridge Road until some Drunk Burned it down. I can't walk very Good now, but I still miss Swimming in White Lake. I swam around the Lake 2 times back when I could get around Good.
I remember watching "Swamp Loggers" on TV years back and always loved seeing what you and the crew were doing. Years later I found you on youtube and began watching as many as I could to catch up on everything going on. It is sad to see the rising costs end your business. I hope the best for you, your family, and employees. It's scary times we are living in, we all just need to keep our head up and remain as positive as possible.
I’ve been watching these guys for years on their television show then TH-cam. Take care everyone at Goodsons all terrain . Cheers from Australia everyone 🇦🇺
Those CSI buck saws and pull through delimbers are the best! I’ve called the factory in North Carolina and talked directly to Ronnie about questions I’ve had and he always set me straight.
Been watching and following you guys since 2009. I hate this for you guys- May God give you comfort and peace and bless your family and your dedicated employees. He is always faithful to His children
That hurts to see the company break apart, one piece of equipment at a time. I hope this wakes some people up. We can’t outsource every job, I wonder what the next 30 years are going to look like? Thanks for sharing your time and videos.
Because of fuel prices and the rest that Joe dementia and his admin. have done. Can't make a dollar and stay operating when it cost more to run than you can make.
Hi Bobby and family .I too have watched your show and on y tube. from the start . I drive cars to Florida and always Lok at any big log trucks to see if they are yours . Glad you pulled the plug early before you lost everything. . Get out with missus get some walks in .I'm sure you will rise to the top of the pot . Stay healthy God bless.
I farm in Anson co NC. I gave up all of my rented land last fall. I am just farming what I own. I guess you could say I am 85% retired. I am enjoying not be under so much pressure. Fuel, fertilizer, seed, parts, etc have gone through the roof. I have time to do things that I have put off, and doing them when I feel like it. Enjoy your Freedom!
So sad, I am glad you know when the struggle and stress is not worth the hassle. I've watch you guys along time and really enjoyed seeing how you guys logged. A big hello to you Bobby and the crew once again from Australia. I felt sorry for you and i must say i was a little misty eyed when i saw your loader moving out knowing that this is the end for you all. You seem to be getting along well which i indeed hope is the case but i can only imagine how gut wrenching this has indeed been for you seeing what you have worked so hard for for so many years slowly disappearing in front of you. My thoughts are with you all keep your heads up and moving forward as best as you can. You are a great guy and family. Hope to continue to see you on fb and youtube in some sort of capacity.
I really hate to see you guys go, but I do understand the decision. I truly thank you all for the tv shows as well as the videos, may God continue to bless you and your family. You all are in my prayers.

I miss my 20’s! 20 miles from our shop to IP Courtland. We could haul all the pine and hardwood pulp we wanted to 24/7. Diesel was between 1-2 dollars a gallon on average.
I really do hate all this for you Bobby. I've watched you for years logging on TV. Everytime I came through your area I always thought about you guys in the woods. I retired from a large construction co. Things have definitely changed and not for the best. Much Love to all of you.

You will always be a logger cause it’s what you see yourself as! I hope you can move on and you and your family enjoy some time together just being yourself.

I have watched you folks for years on t.v., and later on TH-cam, and it still fascinates me how your crew really wants to work so hard and make a living. I know how hard it is to shut down because I am doing the same thing. The only difference is that I have not let myself sell off my tools. I just cannot bring myself to do it yet. I am not healthy enough to start another job, and at almost 67 years old, another line of work is out. I do wish you the beat, and my wife and I will be praying for you and yours. God bless.

I know you are a smart man Bobby Goodson. I'm sure you been putting a little away when you can to keep you going into retirement. I don't know what the future holds for you but I'm keeping you and yours in my prayers. Your a good man and you always provided for those that worked for you and because of that the good Lord will repay you. I really feel for the crew Simetrio and the other fellas have been as loyal and hard working as they come and I also pray the good Lord will provide for them. I remember seeing Goodson trucks when I was stationed @ Camp Lejeune NC in the mid 80s. Good luck Goodson family and also to your hard working crew. God Bless you guys...
These videos and the times we are going through in this country is some of the sadest things I've ever seen. I honestly don't know if there will be anything for my 10 year old son to look forward to.

Makes me so sad. When I retired it was extremely hard. Your awesome Bobby.
What can I say except best wishes and good luck to you and your family Bobby Goodson.

Sorry to see this man. I hate it. You are so right, we need change. I just tagged my truck back to haul logs in April, deal fell through, truck sat. Paying insurance for nothing, I saw your video about selling out, I turned my tag in to stop the bleeding. Sad times right now in this world. Prayers
