Choosing A Secondary Profession | An Ironman Journey Ep.2

In this video we continue the Guild Wars 1 Ironman Challenge through the Prophecies campaign and get to choose our secondary profession. On top of that we learn some more ranger skills, expand our inventory and lay out the road ahead of us.
The rules currently are as follows:
Fresh account so I can only unlock skills that the skill trainer actually sells (no account unlocks)
Not allowed to use anything from other characters (gold, mats, upgrade components, etc.)
Not allowed to buy armor from armorsmiths (except elite armor), so that I have to look out for collectors and farm specific mobs for upgrades
Not allowed to buy any runes, so that loot drops stay a lot more exciting
All henchmen only get 1 life. If the whole party wipes or we load into a new city with one or more henchmen dead, they can’t be used for the rest of the playthrough.

I really enjoyed watching these two episodes. You have a way with words when explaining the game; I've never played GW1 yet I could follow the videos easily. I feel like there's not many other GW1 content creators who pull that off.

This got me back into GW after I stopped in 2008. Recovered the acc recently. First character was a ranger but this time I started Proph with a Mes since thats what I started with in GW2. It's funny looking back at the character names I had back then as a 12 year old. Perplexed when I came back and saw I have a Rt called "Lousy Was Yo Momma". Then I logged in and realized it was a play on the Rt skill names.

After seeing this Video, I was able to recover my old account from 2007 even though I no longer had access to the email address to which it was assigned. Gulid Wars support is at a very good level that after providing activation codes , data that I remembered I was able to recover this account and change the assigned e-mail and password . I tried to play one of the characters from those years in the campaign with the map of Ascalon (I do not remember which add-on it is) unfortunately I ended up playing there with a character of level 10 and I ran into a dead end . I am not able to get to any location on the map that is above Ruins of sumria because the bots that I can hire for story missions are max level 6 and I keep dying because even low level mobs are able to kill me quickly because of that :| .Fortunately, I still had a character from the Nightfall Campaign where I finished playing at level 15 and already had normal characters unlocked with my level and higher and somehow I can slowly push the storyline forward there ;-) . The only sad thing is that Kamadan is practically empty on every possible server and I remember the time in 2007 where players were a lot and everyone was bragging about how they got somehow minpets ;-)

You'll have to switch the region to America in Kamadan and choose District 1. Everyone gathers there nowadays :)
