I haven't thrown a leg over a bike for more than 2 years now. Somehow this satisfied my craving and soothed me at the same time. Awesome bike and great scenery. Might get one next year.
Cheers, bro! I wonder, have you tried comparing the Yoshi with the Scorpion Serket Taper exhaust? Kinda not liking the size of the Yoshi too much, but it sounds mean!
This video sounds exactly like my '17 sv650 and I love this. Wish I could find such nice roads to ride on. Your video will definitely lift my spirits in the winter.
I was thinking the same thing just before I read Kyle's very accurate comment. No music, no commentary... no watching you put your gloves on for 2 minutes. Just a great sounding bike. Good job and thanks.
Thank you for the kind words! I will try to do some videos next year with a new setup to improve quality further and hopefully reccord several new bikes then :)
+Tatsuya Shiina Thank you! I wish I could have recorded a video in Norway a week before, truly an amazing experience. The bike is almost to loud in the tunnels (without DB killer).
Thank you very much for your reply♪ I've never ever seen such A BEAUTIFUL scenery before. I'm looking forward to your recent post.I'll be back again!!! (When you edit the video(s),I heard that...It'll be hard work for you. Please don't strain yourself.) (↑動画の編集は大変だと聞いたことがあります。くれぐれも無理をなさらぬようお願い致します。)
Hey Victor! Like you, I have a 2017 SV650ABS. I am trying to figure out whether to go with the Yoshi pipe you have or the Akrapovic slip on that just came out. I know the pipe doesn't add power, but as to sound improvement specifically in person (videos don't always do it justice), in the low to mid RPMs, is the sound improvement very noticeable? Does the new tone cover up some of the sewing machine-esque valve noise? Lastly, with the db killer removed, is the slip on noticeably louder or just a little bit? Thanks!
had an original 1999 sv great bike loads of character sounded like a little Ducati I miss it a lot after seeing your video i am thinking of getting the new sv650a
I got a Yoshimura titanium for my SV650a in Thailand. I think it might be louder than the Euro version, it is 93db. Anyway, it has really transformed my SV into a great bike, because it cured the snatchy throttle response maybe because it seems to have a good deal less engine braking now. Sounds better too, with the stock all you could really hear was the induction noise of the airbox.
Hi Victor, sweet video. I have a question for you. I know the slip on isn't going to give much power if any but people notice better throttle response and smoother power. Have you noticed anything like that with your pipe? thank you!!
Have the same bike (x variant), its lovely :D the mic is a bit "Generous" but the sensation sounds much the same, I have to say its a lovely stretch of road, I see it's in sweden, and being in Denmark I have to wonder how far it is :) - I've been lurking this vid many many times, and I just have to chime in and say its a great one, no bs babble, just pure road and sound. Fan-fucking-tastic. :D
Oh, thank you for the kind words. If you live in Denmark, then you can take this road as a detour if you’re going to Bornholm. Just go off the E65 at Svaneholm castle and put in Häckeberga castle as a destination and you get quite a bit of this road. :)
@@VictorEkroth excellent! Thank you, my family is from Bornholm, and I have been thinking of taking a trip there, so maybe I should! 😊 Happy rides, and stay safe
You don't have to. I didn't with my full Yoshimura on my FZ and it was fine. But even with stock exhaust the bike will run better after a reflash/tune. So with the exhaust it's worth doing.
Victor Ekroth what kind of gro pro you used to record this video? Im looking for action cam..aiming for sjcam m20. But still looking for any other good cam available out there..let me know if you hv any suggestion..
Hi mate which exhaust is this in the range from yoshimura thinking of upgrading the metal vase on the end of my sv .Cheers dude awesome video by the way 🏍🏍🏍🏍
Hi, Can you tell me the average fuel consumption of this bike when you drive your SV650 like this (3~4000 rpm with relatively high gear maybe?)? Thanks.
Victor Ekroth Because I just installed LeoVince slipon and when I let the throttle in the 2 nd gear and engine breaking occur I got the popping in the exhaust...maybe need to do a remap?!
If you get loud popping, then it might be a good idea, I just think it sounds odd. I´ve removed the catalytic converter on mine with a arrow mid-pipe for this season and i still don´t get popping. If it sounds like mine on the overrun I would not worry about it unless you don´t like the way the throttle response is.
Wow, you got a shout out from Dale! Pretty high praise, I recently bought some parts from Dale and the customer service is fantastic. Guy knows his stuff.
I had an original 99 mk1 sv650 all the bike you need lots of character you just need to get used to the engine braking comming into corners I miss it a lot thinking of trading in my super bike which I can't open up because I'll get done
Thanks for the most glorious Suzuki V-twin sound. It has nourished my soul in lockdown. 👍🏽

I know someone else with the same exhaust, same bike, same sound. Awesome.
When the bike is under load in the low rpms that exhaust sounds sick
Man those roads are beautiful
Wow, this is awesome!!! I'm riding suzuki sv 650n '01 and your tracki is my soon holiday roads!
I think it sounds awesome! No wind noise is a big plus! The only mechanical noises I hear is the chain. That is to be expected!
Thank you for the kind words!
A riders dream! Gorgeous.
Damn, whata nice sound!
Cant get enough.
Hope this sound could be possible on the new Vstrom 650.
Same engine!
Can’t wait to get mine. I’ve had my SV650 since June 2020 and still stock exhaust because Yoshimura was out of stock. Soon!

Sorry, this was shot in southern Sweden 😅
Nice video and nice sound, I got the same bike recently and thinking of the exhaust, I would like to know is that a alpha race or street exhaust ?
Thank You Sir!
Sounds nice! Looking at getting one to go with my gixxer.
Yoshimura what model?
Which specific slip on is this? Street Alpha?
Which Yoshi exhaust did you fit?:) Baffle removed I suppose? Thanks in advance!
Nice video mate!!....great bike too!!...
where did you have the camera mounted?
Excellent riding and you seem very comfortable on the SV , so I have to ask ---- have you changed the factory seat?
EBthere Thank you! Yeah I’ve got the Tuck n roll seat.
I had a 99 sv650 great little bike thinking of buying the sv650a sick of sports bikes you can't use properly on the road
is this a full exhaust setup or the slip on??? please reply thanks
No, this is just the slip-on, I later installed an arrow mid pipe. I don’t recommend removing the catalytic converter. It makes it way to loud.
Hi Victor, sweet video. I have a question for you. I know the slip on isn't going to give much power if any but people notice better throttle response and smoother power. Have you noticed anything like that with your pipe? thank you!!

Very nice video, thanks! Where is this road?
Thank you! It´s part of a great road north of Skurup in Sweden. Let me know if you need better directions :)
Awesome video!
Does it sound as good with the dB killer in? Just quieter? Which yoshi model? Sounds awesome!
Love the sound this exhaust makes. Is it a slip-on or a full exhaust system?

Hi, did you have a DB killer/silencer in your exhaust? my Yoshimura sounds different to this, more like an inline 4 once it gets really going
Great video and great sounding exhaust. Was the dB killer hard to remove? Thanks!
Jason H Thank you! No, the db-killer is not installed on delivery. You get it in the bag with the mounting hardware.

is that the Alpha series slip on you have there?
Yeah it is

It's a slip on so u guess you don't

noobasdfjkl I got it sometimes when standing still and revving, never heard it when riding.
How tall are you, and do you love your bike?
Hi Victor, can I ask you what model of yoshimura exhaust it is?
Thank you very much.
Hello Pavel! It´s the Yoshimura Street Alpha SO SS-CF-CF slip-on with part number: 11670BM220.
Oh, thank you very much!! :)
I want to ask you, if I can use this exhaust on my SV 08 or if this exhaust is only for the last model.
