I agreed with that understanding of having the 11" for a while, until I realized for me and many people I know - it is a compromise. When I want to make something done, I want to feel the screen and keyboard to appropriately get the job done without feeling suffocated by the lack of real estate (the ideal portability of work comes from 13") But when I want to consume on the go or carry my ipad literally anywhere or any situation I am - I want the lightest version of the iPad possible (where iPad Mini shines). iPad 11" is great, but cannot appropriately address the extreme intentions of having both iPads 13" and Mini, so kudos to the comment and kudos to the video using 2 iPads
I use two iPads, the iPad mini 6th gen and the iPad Air 5th gen. I do get a lot of criticism for owning two iPads and I find myself using the iPad Air more, tomorrow I’m trading in both of my devices for the iPad Air 6 gen 13”. I really liked the video and If anyone feels like they’re wanting two iPads, I say do it, it’s a one in a lifetime experience.
I use two iPads as well! Had an iPad pro from 2018 and wanted a new iPad mini 7. Still use my old iPad at home more like a computer. My mini is more a tablet and notetaking device for me! Love to still use both!
I’m an artist, and have two iPads as well. An 11” iPad Pro and an iPad mini. My iPad Pro is my main content creation device. But when I really wanna travel light, I always grab my iPad mini. It’s the perfect size digital sketchbook when on the go. My iPads have totally replaced my laptop and my iPhone has replaced my heavy dslr as my main camera. I’ve adapted to an iOS only workflow. I originally chose the 11” iPad Pro over the 13” because of the hold-ability. To me, even larger iPads were meant to be held, and i felt the 13” was just too cumbersome. When it comes time to upgrade my iPad Pro, I may go with the M4 13” since Apple made it thinner, but I’m not sure yet. The 11” is still plenty big enough for serious drawing yet also super portable too. Either way, having the iPad mini compliments the iPad Pro nicely because it’s even more portable. I can just stick it in my jacket or cargo pants pocket & I don’t even know it’s there. But if inspiration strikes while walking around NYC, i can whip it out and start drawing.
I use two iPads as well….the M2 11” and the Mini A17. But when I go out just the Mini and my iPhone (16PM). I also ALWAYS use my Kindle Fire 8HD because I am a voracious reader and busy book reviewer.
I use 2 iPads as well, the mini 7 and 13 inch iPad Air. The mini I use for note taking, reminders, reading and calculations for budgeting and investing. It’s wonderful to have both. Great video and good job keeping it under 10 minutes.
i live in the UK and I actually have that same setup for exactly the same reasons. I have been rocking that since the iPad mini 6 gen came out 3years ago. Spot on video and love the content.
I used an iPad Pro and a 6th gen iPad mini before. Now that I got the 7th gen iPad mini, I sold my iPad Pro and 6th gen mini and am happy with just using the mini now.
Great video, Faiz! I too have a IPad Air, M2 13 inch, and a iPad mini 6, which fits my computer lifestyle the best. I truly love the work , preparation and your delivery explaining your use and demonstration with your iPads. Keep up the good work, been a subscriber for last 3 months . Look forward to your next video!
I have a similar set up. An older 12.9 iPad Pro and an iPad Mini 6. I use the Mini more for consumption, email, and social , while the Pro is my work device and content creation. Solid video as always!
@@JudiChristopherhonestly I don’t, but I also didn’t use the iPad Pro like some May. I don’t do any editing or drawing. I more so just casual browse and watch TH-cam , TH-cam tv etc. if I edited and drew or write, I’m sure I’d miss the bigger screen

I used to own two iPads until they got stolen. But they both had their own purpose. I had a 2nd gen iPad mini to just basically store and read my medical books and articles. My iPad was my main device for almost everything, content consumption, editing photos, also storing books, and an excellent note taking device.

I think you forgot one of the most important use cases for having two iPads. Using both of them together can serve as an incredible multitasking and productivity tool. Stage manager is garbage, so being able to reference a book on the iPad mini while taking notes on my iPad is glorious.
I use two iPads as well, I may upgrade to the 7 mostly for the storage. I find 64GB is to small but 128 storage capacity would be ideal. It would be great for more video storage. Great video! Though that setup is not for me, it still makes sense. For me though I use an 11 inch M2 iPad Pro. It’s the perfect size imo for content consumption and productivity, so I have a magic keyboard for when I need to type, and a folio cover for when I’m using it for media consumption and for Apple Pencil creative work. And it’s still light enough to take wherever I go. But when I’m at home, I use my gaming laptop for productivity, so it’s become my desktop while my iPad became my laptop.
I’m also an iPad Pro, IPad Mini, and Kindle user. The only thing that I feel that I wasted money on is the Kindle as the Mini serves as my ebook reader
I think iPad Mini isn't ideal to be of use as an e-reader not until they use OLED. iPhones are way more comfortable as an e-reader because of it, especially on Dark Mode. I've also been waiting for the Books app to show the cover photo of what I'm currently reading on the lock screen 😂 Hope developers will do that soon with Always-On Display! 🤞
Excellent content, as always! I carry a 11” iPad M4 and a 2022 iPad 12.9” every day to the office. I use them both, every day. Might get the new iPad mini, and use three iPads every day . . . all for slightly different purposes. Can’t settle on just one for all purposes. Typing this on my 12.9” iPad, with the big Magic Keyboard. I just wonder whether it is cost effective to get the new M4 13” iPad? It doesn’t seem to be a huge upgrade from my 2022 12.9” iPad.
I have two iPads as well have 13 pro for at home as more a laptop and watching videos because has the better screen resolution and have the iPad mini 7 as a note taker e-reader and audiobooks small games browsing etc.
Low key, using the iPad Pro is probably better than a Mac for college students now that I think about it. Better camera, Apple Pencil compatibility, better portability. Quite nice.
Nice video!. I use that setup for a few months until I realize that I started to use mi ipad pro 12” less and less as an iPad, always with keyboard an mouse. I still have a MacBook Air - but hoping soon I can get rig of that - or worst case - go towards a Mac Mini - just something basic that will run Mac OS (for some of the legacy apps) and some web site editing (very basic). Thanks - I appreciate your Videos!
I am a user of iPhone 13 mini, MacBook Air 15, and iPad mini 5. The iPad mini is more convenient and better than the iPhone when showing drawings or documents to others at work and taking quick notes. The biggest advantage is the size and weight that can be lifted with one hand. Even when working with a MacBook, it is more convenient to use an iPad mini to search for references. The iPad mini is the best in a lazy position half lying on the bed. I live in South Korea, so my new iPad mini 7 will arrive tomorrow.
I have an ancient iPad mini 2 I think. It’s pretty much useless for anything but playing ripped DVDs and reading books, but it excels at those tasks. 16GB is a bit of a hinderance though.
Hello, I do the opposite of you : I do productivity tasks on my iPad Pro 11 and I consume content on an old 12.9 iPad Pro (I bought it second hand). The big size for content primary at home and the standard size for productivity on the go, primary without the Magic Keyboard but sometimes with. I don’t have an iPad mini and think I don’t need one. But I work on a desktop Mac too. but I’m not a creative person. I’m a PE teacher.
I downgraded my 13 inch Pro to the 11 inch much more portable size. I debated on getting a mini for travel and reading books as I currently use a Kindle paperwhite for ebooks.
I still rather use MacOS for content creation therefore I traded in my M1 Mac Mini for the M4 model and traded in my iPad 6 Mini for the iPad Pro M4 11” to do light content creation and use as my content consumption.
I still have my 2013 ipad air, and i put it in the toilet, so i can play nice music with it. Haaha while i use my 2022 ipad air on a daily basis at home or outside
I use the Samsung Tab S9 which I find far more useful and productive than any iPad. But I have the Mini 7 because of the form factor, but I wash Samsung would make a high quality small, tablet
I wish for it too, and i will buy ipad for the sake of mini and portable tablet. I have 10ish tablet before, its to big. On lenovo y700 is comparable to ipad, but ipad is better overall for travel companion and software support.
I have two ipads pro m4s. I use the 11" for handheld tasks (reading, watching youtube, taking notes). I use the 13" for emails, watching movies, working on spreadsheets, video conferences and as a second monitor for my macbook pro.
I love my iPad Pro M2 with a Magic Keyboard. I received my iPad Mini 7th generation last week and I love it so far. This is a terrific setup. I have been using an iPad Pro 13 for years and really am getting use this new setup and am using just like Faiz.

I have an ancient iPad mini 2 I think. It’s pretty much useless for anything but playing ripped DVDs and reading books, but it excels at those tasks. 16GB is a bit of a hinderance though.
The iPad Pro M4 11 inches is the best portable device, while the MacBook Air M3 is for office job.
I have two iPads. Two pro models. M4 11 inch and M2 12.9
What’s your workflow like with both?
Would 11 inch pro merge your use cases? Just picturing my wife’s face when I tell her I need to buy two iPads 😅
That's why they should enable sidecar for more ipads.
So it sounds like the best solution is to use a MacBook and then an iPad mini as the e - reader
I have an ipad pro 13 and a remarkable 2. I can do everything with my ipad. Cannot justify a mini and a pro
2-3 days of battery life on the mini? I have a mini 7 and it barely lasts half a day.
I use it for just light tasks. Mostly reading books, news, and watching a video here and there on TH-cam
Love the huge black bars when watching content
All pakistani boy born in US keep saying ‘like I said’ a few thousand times everyday 😂
everyone in the comments got two ipads?! I've just got an 11 inch and a kindle
I tried iMac, MacBook Pro & Air as well, I settled now with iPad Pro M4 & Mini 7
And mini is gradually also pushing my daily kindle use away 🤷🏻♂️
I feel like once you get used to reading on the mini the kindle is used less and less
@ True, especially the interface and page turning animation plus if you’re reading comics as well
I still rather use MacOS for content creation therefore I traded in my M1 Mac Mini for the M4 model and traded in my iPad 6 Mini for the iPad Pro M4 11” to do light content creation and use as my content consumption.
I still have my 2013 ipad air, and i put it in the toilet, so i can play nice music with it. Haaha while i use my 2022 ipad air on a daily basis at home or outside
I use the Samsung Tab S9 which I find far more useful and productive than any iPad. But I have the Mini 7 because of the form factor, but I wash Samsung would make a high quality small,
tablet
I wish for it too, and i will buy ipad for the sake of mini and portable tablet.
I have 10ish tablet before, its to big.
On lenovo y700 is comparable to ipad, but ipad is better overall for travel companion and software support.
I like 11”
Lite and portable is a phone
Just use the pro 11 inch for all needs, my MacBook Pro m1 is still excellent for graphic design work in 2025
I’m a double iPad user. A pro and mini. One’s good for a lot of stuff and the other has its own strengths for sure
The mini 6-7 is thick, heavy and the bezels are outdated already, ipad mini air 8 should be a thing.
Hey Faiz Pakistani
I completely agree. I also own and carry two iPads.
I have two ipads pro m4s. I use the 11" for handheld tasks (reading, watching youtube, taking notes). I use the 13" for emails, watching movies, working on spreadsheets, video conferences and as a second monitor for my macbook pro.
That seems fantastic. It’s nice how screen sizes can make such a big impact on our usage
Smart man. I have the same setup!
I love my iPad Pro M2 with a Magic Keyboard. I received my iPad Mini 7th generation last week and I love it so far. This is a terrific setup. I have been using an iPad Pro 13 for years and really am getting use this new setup and am using just like Faiz.
Why I use 2 iPads? Cuz I’m RICH
The mini´s screen is pure crap
So outdated compared with iphone 16pm or ipad pro...
Because you are made of money, let’s be clear.
Or as we would say in Spain “porque estás forrao”
Give away one iPad. Only rich people use two iPads. No rhyme or reason. Thumbs down. How can I put two thumbs down?
It's ridiculous to have two. It doesn't make sense.
