I know this fact because I live around the area and I know a few Guardsmen that was in the National Gaurd who were deployed to help during the riot. I was around 9-10 years old when this movie was filmed there.

A lot of reactors miss Brian “The Boz” Bosworth who was an NFL linebacker for a few years before getting an injury. He started acting with his most rememberable movie being ironically called "Stone Cold". He is also Kate Bosworth's father.
I love that Brian Bozworth said that at 01:19:37! He was a huge linebacker in 1987. He once said he was going to level Bo Jackson, when other defenders couldn't. They played in November of that year and Bo ran Boz over in the end zone. Boz has definitely humbled since then.
Adam Sandler is massive wrestling fan during that era, he was attending WrestleMania 21 (2005) in Hollywood. Also The Great Khali wasn't recruited by WWE yet during the movie release, but he was already a pro wrestler since 2000 and competing in several promotions like New Japan and CMLL in Mexico. He was recruited by WWE in 2006. Khali is also starring in the movie Get Smart and McGruber.
