Toyota GR Yaris - Circuito del Jarama - Nankang CR-S test

Nankang's CR-S is finally available in Europe and I had to try those. I was expecting a tyre capable of maintaining performance through multiple laps and as you can see during this short stint, they seem to do that just fine. I did 1 cooldown lap after the 3rd lap so my oil temps wouldn't get too hot, the tyres didn't need that.

How CR-S feels compared to AR-1?

To me it feels like a more refined tyre. It takes a bit longer to properly heat up but then it can take the punishment no problem. And on the road it’s very civilized, no noise or vibrations like the AR1.
