I think this is an HR (VQ35HR) motor from 350Z right? Because you have 2 camshaft position sensors for each bank (total of 4 camshaft position sensors) but DE (VQ35DE) which is the only version stock for all maximas from 2002 until 2022. (i'm not sure just guessing, maybe this motor is swapped).
Well, it seems like the question here is can you remove the engine & transmission from the top. I want to know about removing just the engine. I'm working on an automatic, so no clutch issues.
Yes, it will. I am working to post the video soon. There are a lot of components that should come out first, but the A/C does not require evacuation. It can be done in your garage or in the driveway. Thanks for the video @partsshooter very informative! @@tamarcusbills-sh2jl
th-cam.com/video/UHs6Tu7_lrw/w-d-xo.html This is the first half of removal. All of the top. I am working the video for the other half. I hope to have it posted by this weekend. @@tamarcusbills-sh2jl

WHEN YOU PULL THAT FRONT CLIP ,,,,,,,,,, IT'S A BREEZE 😎
It does look like it would be... I got tired of removing stuff lol
So it was easier to remove the engine with the transmission?
Is it the same way for 2020??

How long did it take to pull it from the top
Actually touching it, 5-6hrs. I can do it way... faster if I had to do it again
@@partsshooter O ok I did one from the bottom in about 2 hrs but I had a lift good to know I can come out the top tho 💪
Will it come out without taking the transmission out with it

Didn't know you had a channel
Now try installing it back in. It should be a lot harder than removing it.
No helper 😢
Explain how it wasn't help to you
@@partsshooter I meant he did it without a helper
