You can destroy wooden chests and have their content drop to the ground. Since a spirit orb does not have a physics object (or at least I think so), what happens if you break a spirit orb wooden chest?
If you destroy a wooden chest and you see something drop on the floor, then you can simply pick it up.
If you break the chest and nothing dropped, you know it's an item that couldnt physically be dropped (Like a Spirit Orb), and then you can simply save and load the savefile and the chest will respawn and you can simply just open it up.

Feel like they could use a placeholder model for this or something. Use like a Diamond or something... literally just anything that actually has a model and would entice you to grab it.

that's an overall, legit just one good thing, the rest arent so optimal, even in a very early casual.
Personally, this is an near-perfect randomizer that I would like to try out. But the the one thing that rubs me the wrong way is spirit orbs being randomized. It destroys the incentive to beat shrines in favor of treasure chest searching. I think a better idea would be to have the monk rewards be part of the randomizer. Imagine getting scammed after a hard fight and being rewarded a green rupee, or going to a blessing shrine and getting the Master Sword?
That's not completely out of the question. It's still in development!
Monks giving randomized rewards would be a nice improvement :)

I actually have seen randomizers for this game with the shrines being randomized, and the old man as well

I remember there was this one chest I couldn't reach in the water, I got super close to it, tried stasis, magnet, bombs, but I couldn't get it, so I just left lol.

This must have been a MASSIVE undertaking considering things like how you get the paraglider and needing the master sword for Ganon require some intensive coding i assume. Everyone involved should be proud this came together wonderfully.
The drops from the talus on the plateau where like that because the talus was randomized to a rare talus which normally drops lots of minerals

I wonder if you can continually generate new items through Eventide's off-island arrow chest, or it's the same item every time you save and reload.
For Mr. A-Game, it decided to heal him by removing and readding the 5th heart container. That was also after moving him down to 1. This is probably the most intense randomizer in Zelda history.

Linkus, do you know that there's a really simple glitch that lets you get the Master Sword if you have less than 13 hearts?
Step 1: Try to pull it out. First time around, the Great Deku Tree will stop you before you die (I think).
Step 2: Place a campfire right next to the sword.
Step 3: Sit by the fire.
Step 4: Mash A as Link stands up.
You then pick up the Master Sword as if it was any other weapon.
Thats one of the most known speedrun tricks at the moment lol and im sure he knows about it, he did run botw 100% for some time and i think any% maybe as well so yeah but why play a randomizer to just then straight up skip everything the randomizer has to offer. Its the fun in randomizers! :D
The ganon fight is triggered by the check that occurs through the sword animation i think. If this is the case, i would assume that it doesn't matter that you have the sword, just that you've had the animation
He knows abt this. ( also step 1 is not needed). I presume he just wanted to play the randomizer instead of just "haha early master sword"
99% sure you have to look up before resting by the campfire as it will deload the trigger for the animation temporarily

If you're placing the glider in a plateau chest, you should shuffle all shrines. Make you work for that Cryonis.

That was kinda weird how Ganon was skewed. It makes me wonder how the laser's aim is calculated if it was going over your head.

Fun fact about Sky sliding, you can Change your fly direction by wiggeling in the opposite direction of where you want to Go to, for example If you want to to Go to the colloseums But move towards hyrule Castle you Just Look towards the colloseums with the camera and make Link face the opposite of the camera (aka yourself) and Just start wiggeling until He goes the way you want him too

There is a 3rd option, tho not sure it'd work with randomizer. Just do the campfire thing to steal the Master Sword directly without the cutscene that drains hearts. My current BOTW save got the sword at just 4 hearts.
I saw a video a few weeks ago about several (normally) unobtainable chests where they spawn out of bounds under the map.
Is the randomizer aware of those and remove them from the pool or fix their locations?
