      2 Pacers in a "F"ing H.S. race. Ridiculous...Pathetic!! Record DOES NOT Count. In any real Race-there are no Pacers-EVERYONE Runs to WIN!!! Any race anywhere using Pacers yields a B.S. and Bogus Record!!!!

    • @DavidLeidy
      @DavidLeidy ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I would think it would be easier to pace with actual people. Plus, it wasn’t nighttime yet. The lights might be hard to see. Particularly when you take into account they’re putting all your energy into the run. Not much energy left to put so much focus into lights you can hardly see

    Pacers form is both maddening and confusing. Like is he running that way on purpose? Is that just his natural gate? Is he running like a cartoon character because he knows he's stepping off at 3 minutes so why not have fun with it? And maddening because others behind him look like they are moving quickly to keep up, and knowing me even hitting A 70 would be like all out, while he can prance like he stole a loaf of bread and hold 64s.

    Correct me if I am wrong, but the new generation of high school kids is redefining the standard of what is good running...a high school coach told me recently that anything over 4:10 for the mile is relatively slow. It's the shoes allowing these kids to practice harder and recover faster! Plus nutritionally they are way ahead! Just better athletes!

    • @henryschoon7816
      @henryschoon7816 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      calling anything above 4:10 'slow' is stupid. There's still only about 12 kids that have gone sub 4:10 this year. What they're actually doing is redefining what the upper limit of high school running is, and that's where they're really impressive.
