I lived in globe in 1970s I did not like it at all if people want the old west just watch John Wayne & Clint Eastwood movies much safer . The Good BAD & the Ugly is safe on TV in old movies Glob no safe just open border crawlers & not enough jobs. Best thing was dirt bike riding 🤣
Great town! Some really nice homes, cool history, interesting buildings, the Pinals mountains have huge pine treesand the people I've met were very friendly. I love Globe!
Obviously, you’ve not lived in Globe as long as I have for 30+ years I’m not sure where you are getting your data from but this town is not a violent city by any means. Globe does have it’s issues such as large cities, but nowhere near the level, the percentages of which year indicating so you should check your data a little more closely as your data is incorrect from what you are saying and also understanding, demographic, location a little bit better. Also many of the stores you said are closed are open every weekday. Globe growth percentage is about 15-20 percent over the past 20 years. This I know because I did my dissertation on it in college. Globe is a retirement town. A very nice place to live.
Globe is in Gila county, which according to Dr. Jack Lesinger in his book "Penturbia" (which portrends a future population trend in the USA) fits the criteria of a future pentubian town that people will want to move to, primarily because of the older historical architecture. You showed my house there, nice to know that my taxes are helping to pay for that nice paved road that you mentioned!
I bet on a blue-sky day that place would look a lot better. Until you get kicked in the head. For a minute there I thought you were going to PIT that silver SUV. Thanks! Love, David
Perfecting pit? Go to Scottsdale instead nicer & more fun. Avoid Phoenix. Interesting video oh it brings back them memories of 1970s good old glob as my dad said.
The Miami/globe area is kind of a mixed bag but dangerous/crime ridden seems a bit overblown. There is alot of abandoned buildings since the whole areas economy is squarely dependent on mining. There is a few run down looking trailer parks etc. but i sure it doesnt compare to the rougher parts of the phoenix metro area. The scenery out there is really pretty in areas where there isn’t mining activity and the climate is not as hot as phoenix. I went hiking out there recently. It was early to beat the heat. I didn’t really see anybody on the streets. I went to the mcdonalds where there wasnt any shady looking people loitering around or anything. Its a bit old and ran down in the main drag areas but the landscape is beautiful if you arent in view of stripped down mountains due to mining activity etc. Hope the mining companies dont mess with picketpost mountian near superior or any of my favorite hiking destinations out there. Id get a house out there in the right area for a sweet price if i was retired or had a work from home job that wasn’t dependent on my location. Globe driving up the 188 to Roosevelt lake is really nice, all the homes were like ranches sitting on alot of land
This poor lady would soil her diapers if she got lost in Kensington, Philadelphia. That ain't a city that's like a small rest stop.
hey Frank! get those crumb-bums out! 😁
Here's the link to my video driving through Kensington - th-cam.com/video/CCUqBzhGGDg/w-d-xo.html - I didn't soil my diapers on that one. Sorry

The people of globe are nothing short of friendly.
