      They're not actual natural rubber ;) More likely to be "NBR" nitrile butadiene rubber or teflon. They're designed for use with fuel and oil (which would perish natural rubber) and so are made from chemical resistant materials.

    Im pretty sure the colar that goes onto the hose is left hand thread. You should be able to basically thread the hose counter clockwise. You can also you coppper antiseize on the fitting threads. Then when everything is done, brake clean the whole line and fittings at once

  • @granttracy2062
    @granttracy2062 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Adam, you should drill holes in your bench just big enough for you to push a bolt up through it. Then attach the bolts to the vice via wingnuts so that you can have a clean bench or a vice

    if you put a little bit of super glue around the rivets they wont spin when you come to screwing the body on or unscrewing. Also if the threads are bad it is because you squeezed them too much causing them to pull insideout in a way

    Watching your videos makes me sad and happy at the same time.
    You're living the dream life with Nicole and cars, that makes me want to do the same, it gives me inspiration, but then I remember that with how I'm doing at school and the fact that I'm shy af, I probably won't be able to get my dream job, and to afford modding cars, and that I'll also probably end up alone.
    Trust me, I'm trying my best in both, but I just can't do math, the school system doesn't understand that not everyone is made to do intellectual stuff, but I'm ok in other lessons. I also tried to talk to my crush (it's a girl I don't even know, I just know her name but for some reason I fell in love...), but it just won't happen, literally yesterday I got so close to do it, we were doing preparation for a show at school, and after we brought the tables, I sat on one of them, looked in the distance, saw her, I tought about doing it for like 15 minutes, then I decided "fuck it, I'll do it", I went in her direction, then at the last moment I acted like I was going to do something there... The problem is that I always give myself excuses, that time I was like " I didn't want to go because she was with a friend" but in reality it's more like "I didn't go because I'm a fucking pussy." and it makes myself look like a fool, my friends laughed at me later because they saw me sitting on a table for literally 15 minutes without doing anything except looking stupid af, and I probably looked stupid while walking to her, looking at her, and then doing a turn just in front of her.
    Fuck. I wrote my whole life again lmao

    Have you considered getting some really strong magnets to put on the vice? That way it'll stick to the workbench better but you don't have to commit to actually mounting it somewhere.

    Theres a tool called a "cleco" and you insert it into the holes you drill to hold the two panels together while you drill the rest of the holes. They come in diffferent sizess dependiing on your drill bbits.
