Congratulations Mark! You've built a perfect racing car! Front-wheel drive, 200hp for only 837kg! You are a myth of engineering, tuning and racing. On that track you passed a GTR, an Elise mk2, a blue Elan, a Vxr8. Outstanding time at Brands Hatch! Congratulations to you Mark! Is this Clio still yours or have you sold it? Bye 😃👍👍🏆🎉💯
Hej Salvatore! This car was what got me hooked on the Renaultsport chassis, it was a brilliant car. It would pass so many things on track because you could drive it right on your limits and know it wouldn't punish you. I sold it (and bought a Radical), I wish I'd kept it longer. The guys who bought it went hillclimbing in it and loved it too!
It was Mark! A friend had a drive in it (after me passing him a lot on track) and came back into the pit with a huge smile saying 'oh my god that thing is so easy to drive fast!' 😇
@@MarkTheVanMan After the father and son duo owned it for hillclimbs, a guy bought it for track days...he did a few bits to it (gripper diff being one!) and then stripped it 😔 he said to me 'what have I done' afterwards. Such a shame as there was no real reason for it I don't think.
@@SoloLap I never dismantled it, it was sold to someone near crowthorne area who was going to use it for hillclimb. I miss that car you did a great build
@@SoloLap You know what, you are right! I bought it off the father and son, did a few track days in it then stripped it for bits! Damn I am an evil person......
Nice sharing 🌹🌹👍
Glad you like it!
So cool game🎶 Fantastic My friend🌼 Have a nice day💕
Really nice project you captured on film.
Thankyou!

@@SoloLap Amazing job Mark 😃👍
you clearly have a great deal of talent mate not just building but also driving great video thanks andy
Thanks Andy that means a lot as building and driving are my two biggest loves 🙂 that Clio was sooo easy to drive fast though, what a car it was.
Your video is so impressive! I'm happy to be here! much appreciated 💯😊Have a pleasant day ahead
Glad you liked it Raj!
@@SoloLap my pleasure, stay blessed always
Lovely build
Thanks Jon 🙂
I have a 172 cup with VW/audi 1.8turbo 20valve running gear its 300bhp and 400nm of torque full track spec and road legal it’s a lot of fun
Another great build video, nice to see some clips on the track too!
Thanks guys, I thought I'd add some in as it was the whole point of the car :)
@@SoloLap yeah good call :)
Very nice video enjoyed watching always stay connected.🌺
Superbly executed!
Thankyou Ahmet!
congratulations! a very nice project, a question, how works the aluminium indlet? do you have a real change in performance?
The aluminium one was garbage, it was poorly designed and made for a turbo conversion. The JMS carbon one was a lot better.
hello my dear and precious friend. I really liked your videos. I am already your forever follower🥰🥰❤❤
Just one injector cornet + one compressor tage 2 sooo good cars the motors the chassis rs is one good cars y love it serious
cant believe how quick it seemed on the track!
It was rapid because you could just hold the speed more in the turns, amazing chassis by RenaultSport (again).
Nice build mate. Do you have the part number for the dci steering rack?
Sorry I don't, it's been years since I had this car. If you look on ebay you should be able to find a dci rack from a mk2 clio.
Very good
Please tell me where can I get the right manifold for my clio 2 from 2003 1.2 16v Benzin.
@@Iluuu5 not sure, sorry.
Good thanks for sharing 🔔👍👏
Thanks for watching!
Good work! 👍
Thankyou, it was a fun car to work on!
I bet that car must have been tons of fun to drive! 🤩

@@SoloLap Oh I bet! Just the simple recipe of low weight and a fair amount of power 🤩 Do you know where it is nowadays?
@@MarkTheVanMan After the father and son duo owned it for hillclimbs, a guy bought it for track days...he did a few bits to it (gripper diff being one!) and then stripped it 😔 he said to me 'what have I done' afterwards. Such a shame as there was no real reason for it I don't think.
@@SoloLap Dammit! 😔😔 It is a shame!
Brilliant!
Thank you 😊
Nice build although I was very surprised that a cage was your last thing to fit....it's always been my first
Yeah for me it's always been the reverse, which maybe isn't the right set of priorities 🤔
Awesome build dude 🤙
Thanks Nathan! It was one of the greats that car..
Nice build mate rines sizes are 195/50/15?
If I remember right yes!
does steering hard now with manual ruck ??
A little yes, at lower speeds if needing full lock, but it's fine!
Did you carry out any suspension upgrades other than the roll bar and bushes?
Yes, I fitted the KW V3s. They worked amazingly well for being quite a mild setup.
you are a jack of all trades
and master of none as the saying goes 😂
Nice 👍
what's is this light ? where I can find this please
The headlight? They are from Morette, might be hard to find now but must still be a few around.
🔥🔥🔥 nice built, it must be great to drive that car.😀😀😀
It really was. So easy to use, so much confidence in it!
Hi mate, u got a link to the scooped carbon bonnet? Cheers
Have a word with K-Tec Racing in the UK.
Alright cheers, u remember by any chance how much u paid?
@@williamwhittingham1656 good question. I bought it on ebay from K-Tec as it was a seconds (slight damage to clear coat) I think it was around £250!
@@SoloLap alright great. Appreciate it
Just one good motors one k20 turbo hummm y love it the projet
Impressive!
Thanks Dom! It was a brilliant car after its false start 🙃
How much do you recon it cost you to get race worthy?
I would guess about £6,000.
@@SoloLap that’s awesome. Was expecting real scary numbers 😅 Thanks!
@@tapo4727 it was probably a bit more but a lot of the parts were used and I did all the fitting. The Clio isn't an expensive car to modify.
Salam kenal dari Indonesia🙏🙏🙏
mate perfect project if the cup rear spoiler is for sale i'll take it thank you
Thanks Jeano! This car was a project from years ago now. I think I sold the cup spoiler shortly after fitting the kombat one?
Hi mark I don't think the last day at brands and the weighing at 837kg were really when you owned the car ;)
Wasn't it dismantled after that? I thought it was! 😟
@@SoloLap I never dismantled it, it was sold to someone near crowthorne area who was going to use it for hillclimb. I miss that car you did a great build
@@smellyv4g I sold it to a father and son duo who used it fully, then it was sold again and the last I saw of it, it was a shell if I remember right?
@@smellyv4g I miss that car too!
@@SoloLap You know what, you are right! I bought it off the father and son, did a few track days in it then stripped it for bits! Damn I am an evil person......
How much did u sell it for
If I remember right, it was around £6k?
Nice dude can you show me how you did that single wiper conversion?
It was a kit from Storm. Do a google search for Storm single wiper and you should still be able to buy it. Super simple to fit!
holy Mother of God, how much did you spend?
@@matteovrizzi I don't think it was actually so much? Not compared to my other builds 😂
Wau super
Thank you!
The + the hoseepower the cars is one chassis courses just one stage 2 is ok the cars
Et dire que j en est chercher une longtemps un cup 2 et maintenant que j ai plus de permis y en a partout un vraie chassis courses
