Nice job my friend. Don’t know that I would have thought to check for level and measure up from the ground! Take care!

Thanks Jim, yes the fenders were 3/4 of an inch out but that's what happens when it's a restored car and not a show car. I am really loving finding out her idiosyncrasies, like me she's not perfect but that's what makes things interesting. Blessings

Hope you got a tail light bracket for right side. The angle is slightly different for leftand right

Running these ole girls in traffic gets sketchy with big SUV’s and distracted drivers way too close on your tail. I will suggest a momentary flasher on the brake light switch that activates at first brake application. It gets immediate attention of drivers behind if they are paying any attention at all. I know it is effective as my GL1500 never got hit and lots of “Karens” would bitch at me at stops thinking I was taunting ‘em!

The tail lights from the factory are not mounted in the center of the fenders, they are off center, I had a 31 that's the way they were

Hello there Marilyn, you are absolutely correct, I miss spoke, the tail light is closer to the body than the outside of the fender. Thank you for your post, blessings

Awesome. That's oneof the next things on my list. Our 28 only has the one light, the only issue is that instead of the fender I've got to drill thru the lower body band, then thru steel. But that's what it takes to make em more safe. Directional are to follow. Thanks again .LOVE THAT CAR

Hi Dean, I love to keep a car original but one has to think of safety and with people getting more and more distracted what with phones and dash screens, which is like watching a video while driving, it is better to err on the side of safety. I do like the look and the center light can be easily removed should one need to change a tire. What body style is your 28? I love hearing about other folks cars. Let's keep the ol' stuff running ... blessings

July 4 will be 2 years since we got our 28 Tudor. This is our 1st A, and we absolutely love it. Looking back I wished I had done it 20 years ago. She's not perfect, but tons of fun to get out for an hour or two.Got her(PATIENCE) and quickly discovered how many A's are in my area in N.H. we've got 3 extraordinary restores in my area that have had decades of repairs and restorations. So Having said that I try and gain as much information as I can whenever I can.Its last kind of restoration was done December 1963.I found some bunched up newspapers in the lower panel areas. For the most part it's a nice car. Because of neglect last winter, I had to replace almost the whole underside, brakes, rods, drums, all the internal brake parts, emergency brake, king pins ,anyway you get it.Its basically brand new under the car. Thanks for asking, and keep on doing your video's. THX DEAN J.

@@deanjernstrom3760 that's wonderful Dean, my first body off restoration was a 28 Tudor, a Canadian built car.
