The "X" is Lt's designation for Cpm3V. I have a Genesis in 3V with a scandi grind which is my favorite. Mine has natural Micarta scales. Excellent knife.

The X you're seeing on the knife means it was made from CPM 3V lol 3 years later

That’s my old knife! I had that lanyard bead custom made to match the silver pins. Glad to see it went to a good home. Great review!

Nice review. I've wanted to try a Genesis Scandi for a while now. The new 6" one that Larry Roberts has looks interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Good review. The bushcrafter should have a Scandi grind and will split w less strikes from a baton . The “x” = 3V. The flat grind is not the best for baton splitting. Should be a great slicer as LT does great work. The Bravo 1.5 is the King of splitting wood. But I’d suggest buying a Bravo 2 and keeping the flatgrind LT for a GREAT pair. Enjoy the woods!

Say Heah, The "X" is the code for 3V Steel, But you lost on the trade, I love my 3V Bravo 1.5. Dilly, Dilly.,,.p

Everyday Survival I guess it's in the eye of the beholder, But I still love my Bravo 1.5, and my Bravo 1 both in 3V, but I do have the 1 and 2 in A2, I like them, I have a 4Knife pick and choose starting with the Woodland Special, B 1, B 2, and the Golok, all with the Ghost Green Jade G-10 Handle's. But anyhow, I'm glad your happy with your trade. Infact I just recently bought a Busse Combat Flak Jack, It's looks a little like my S. O. G. Pillar Fix Blade, but alot more robust and in the INFI Steel. I also just bought a S. O. G. Super Bowie a 7 1/2" blade. They were very popular in our Vietnam Conflict, Alot of Special Forces used them. I now have the Seal Pup Elite TiNi, Trident 2.0, my Pilar, and now my Super Bowie TiNi. Yeah, the Camel Hump Spine is one of my Fav's. Dilly, Dilly.,,.p
