Nice! Somebody did a video on this not well known car. Funny. It always did remind me of a supra. But ultimately I keep thinking it was a jdm take on the neon.
I've been looking for one of these gems and I have a question are they worth buying in today's car market I've heard that parts are an issue for these cars
Great video, I didn't know about the EV yet. I own a FTO GPX, they are really fun to drive, but getting some parts is quite difficult/expensive nowadays.
First saw/heard of the FTO in Grand Tourismo on PS1. The front end reminded me of a Pontiac Sunfire, which is such a terrible car. That is interesting that they were experimenting with EV back then, I did not know that.
Haha! That would make sense if I wouldn't have already made a video about the GTO.😁 In reality though, it's crazy how slept on this car is! However, it is also a good thing, since they don't have a crazy price tag on them, like the popularized JDM cars do.

I always looked at these as Japan's Eclipse or Talon. DSM here in the states.
Oh, true! I thought about that as well, and to be fair, that's literally what they are, the only part missing here is available AWD

The FTO's design volumes remind me a little bit of the Alfa Romeo SZ
Totally! Something between the SZ and the GTV, and the latter came out just 1 year before the FTO did. 🙃
