Simply because my Portuguese sucks and I didn't understand that "imported W10 racing oil" (translated) just means 10 weight oil. Turns out SS8 is 10 weight. So, it's one and the same.
I haven't and don't intend to make any more videos about them, sorry. I'll leave that to people with better personalities. However, I have put over 1000 dirt miles on them, from double black diamond single track to groomed dirt road, and I haven't had a single issue with them. Never bottomed out - even through some rough stuff in Moab, and they feel great. Stiff but still with plenty of cushion. I would strongly recommend them to anyone over ~150 lbs. The extra clearance is great, too.
so, now it is good for motocross? and i though you need to get a new springs .. ? i just got my crf250f 2023 and I'm trying to get a new exhaust and new suspensions.. do you recommend those tuskany suspensions? 🙏
It's good for whatever you need stiffer springs for. I don't do motocross, but people do use this setup for mx. You can also get new springs if that suits you instead. There are some small differences between the pneumatic inserts and springs, but either will serve. I do recommend the Tuscany setup. It has been flawless and transformed the bike into something ridable.
In the video, you'll notice the stock spacer tubes at the top are really long (8"). These "good pression" kits replace part of that space with a pneumatic shock insert. It is very similar to a progressive fork spring but done pneumatically and turns your spring/compression into a 2-stage system with a soft early stage of compression followed by a stiff finishing stage to prevent you from bottoming out. I should have shown it in the video, but if you look at Tuscany's product picture, the inside cylinder compresses.
