    You have a lot of the same tools that I do. I don't own a sewing machine or laser cutter though. People don't realize how much work it takes to make something like this.
    Nice craftsmanship, the result is excellent.

    Many thanks for quite detailed master class,- I like the sequence of operations , how you rolled over the ends - and a key d- ring- is very useful detail. Good job ❤

      As an something extra custom and handy- I would add an additional soft pocket for the sunglasses or smartphone

    Nice! I have to ask what is the little shop vac you used in this video? What a great shop addition.

    • @80ProofGoods
      @80ProofGoods  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a Milwaukee M12 shop vac! I use a lot of M12 small batteries and this fit in perfectly!

    Skiving big pieces like this by hand? Most use a machine. You sir are truly a skilled professional. Average person probably does not know how difficult that is to do consistently.

      I appreciate it! Since this video, I’ve purchased a bell skiver machine !

      @@80ProofGoods Nice purchase! How do you like it and what brand did you choose. Im torn between a $1,500 Consew and a $800 knockoff on Amazon. I'm only making stuff for friends and family as I am recently retired.

    What kind of fabric do you use to burnish the edges? And why are you using a fabric on the bag edges and the burnishing “wood” on the handles? 😊

    • @80ProofGoods
      @80ProofGoods  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      just plain ol canvas cloth! works wonders! I use wood on the handles after applying leather dye. I find that the wood helps to burnish the dye, then I go back over it with tokonole and canvas cloth to finish the leather!
