Rewatching the highlights I realize what a true game changer Achane is. Doesn’t matter how many 5-stars Bama has on defense, you’re not catching a guy who runs a 10.04 in the 100m
Bama also benefited from refs. The td to Jwilliams should’ve been a false start. SEC refs real bad or intentional? Lots of no calls in the game for Bama holdings.
@@sonnyasu neither.. it’s natural for great teams/programs like Bama’s to usually have most calls go their way. That’s another part of what makes it so hard to beat them. It’s the same in any sport/level. Everyone said the same about the refs/calls when it came to the Patriots, the 90’s Bulls, the Yankees… probably has something to do with refs also being fans of the game and their subconscious expectations playing a factor, but who knows?
They called flags on both sides of the ball an I think Alabama had more penalties an our defense has been sorry ever since Kirby Smart left to coach Georgia. Used to not be able to run the ball on Bama but the entire team is young inexperienced on both sides of the ball I expected for us to go 10-2 this year maybe 9-3.

The weird thing about this game is that I don’t really think Alabama beat themselves. The Aggies actually earned that win every step of the way
Yes Alabama did beat themselves. They outgained A&M by ~150 yards, threw an interception at A&M's 1 yard line, dropped a TD, settled for field goals twice on goal-to-go situations and allowed a kick return touchdown. When there's a talent disparity as massive as the disparity between A&M and Bama, you're going to need some key plays to go your way, and A&M did.

@@ariqnoor8081 Idk looked like A&M forced a majority of Alabama's mistakes aswell as the 12th man playing a decent role. Texas A&M just wanted it more. Calzada had a great last drive with a hurt leg. He also got booed in last games. Alabama got outplayed and outhearted imo. To Alabama this was just a regular game, to A&M this was everything. Also A&M made some mistakes and even got scored on twice in like a minute with one TD coming from blocked punt.
@@ariqnoor8081 I agree that Alabama had some bad plays, but Calzada played a very different game than the last 2. The freshmen offensive line blocked for him and let him get passes off that he completed. At the end of the day, the Aggies played a better ball game. They didn’t win on technicalities or bad calls, they fought tooth and nail and won. You can say Alabama had a bad day, but they had a bad day against Florida and still won that one.

As a Bama fan it’s tough to watch us drop games at times, but I really just have to tip my cap to A&M. That place was as electric a game as I’ve attended, fans were really cool & classy and we enjoyed our trip despite the loss. Congratulations on a well fought game Aggies!

Which is surprising considering how terribly he did against Arkansas and Mississippi State. He plays like this against those two teams and A&M is undefeated.
He is our backup. He came in after the starter got hurt and SUCKED. He looked like a real QB tonight and came in CLUTCH.

I’m honestly still in shock, home games just get crazy sometimes. Between this, the Arkansas-Ole Miss game, and the OU-UT game this weekend has been wild, college football is the best.

@@donovananderson7990 my friend worked on the field as an OSU trainer. He said the big house was very loud. However, he said the horseshoe is ear splitting and louder. He was at an OSU TTUN game and the big house too, and said the OSU PSU game in 2019 was louder. Also, although I love the shoe. Our fan base is not as rowdy as it used to be. TAMU here sounds like 100+ decibels consistently here. Very few stadiums can match that

Of course Bama is no easy task, but as a life long Georgia fan this is genuinely the best I’ve ever seen them play on defense. We still have a lot of holes in our offense but once we return to full health we aren’t laying down for y’all, it’s about damn time we knock Saban down at least once. I just knew with that Florida game Alabama was not as strong as they have been in the past, and it’s the strongest I’ve seen us so we’ll see excited for what should be a hell of a game

As a diehard A&M fan, this was the greatest game I’ve ever seen. If it isn’t the best it’s the second best behind when we beat Bama in 2012. Zach calzada laid it all on the line. Tough as nails.

That run by Calzada at 11:42 perfectly encapsulated this game in my opinion. No matter the pain, and no matter how dire things looked, we kept moving forward. Never gave up. Kept fighting. Calzada was the embodiment of the entire team this game.

It mostly depends on how the tv crew mixes it. Iowa/PSU was so loud that PSU had 8 false starts, but you wouldn't necessarily guess that based on the audio coming through.

Both of those QBs are exciting to watch, tough in the pocket and some incredibly tough completions, Williams is one awesome receiver and that RB for AM runs hard, what a battle, what a game, congratulations to AM from Buckeye Land, and Bama fans, the season is far from over, I still think winning the SEC would put you back into the playoffs

As a 1st semester progressional school student at TAMU who did undergrad at auburn, this game was incredibly satisfying

I feel like the only sure thing this season is Georgia. Iowa was tested earlier, we will see what happens when they play OSU baring a Buckeye catastrophe. Oklahoma has looked shakey so far. I feel Cincinnati has a real chance assuming they finish undefeated (they need Notre Dame to do well). Lastly Wake Forrest could really complicate things if they go undefeated and beat Clemson.
