But missing a call you're allowed to go to replay for is hilariously bad. I draw the line between an honest mistake in live action and then seeing the play 10 times and still not changing the call.

One angle clearly showed he had just as much of the top of his face mask in it that he did top of the helmet. And the officiating crew doing the reviews agrees with the pretty clear angle.

Don’t believe the hype. LSU is very much a rebuilding school after 2 years ago. I believe they were 5-5 last year, grant it, it was a weird covid year. UCLA still has to prove the can hold their own against a capable team that’s good and not looking for their next set of stars.

This one's on the defense. Incredibly soft, especially on the edges. Ridiculous how many times that swing pass to the back with the tackle out blocking worked.
The thing is the offense got the ball back with 4+ minutes to tie the ball game. CJ threw a pick to basically seal the game. Overall the defense didn’t play a solid game but the offense did have a chance to tie the game

As an Ohio State fan I am impressed how we were still even able to keep it close with Oregon after the first half. I mean they were dominating us and had so many opportunities to blow us out yet we somehow were able to come back and make it a close game. Of course we blew it and I feel like there are a lot of things that needed to be improved for Ohio State to become a solid playoff candidate such as getting qb pressure on defense, getting Stroud more experience and working on his arm (his arm is solid but his accuracy seems to diminish when it really counts like all of the overthrown passes), stop being one dimensional on offense (They serious need some read option plays with Stroud and make the kid run the football. He seems soft and doesn’t like the contact probably due to not being exposed to enough of it.), and better coaching (getting better defensive adjustments and taking easy points early in the game. I mean Ohio State could have potentially tied the game if they had kicked 2 field goals rather than going for a 4th and medium yard situation outside of the 30 yard line). I hope that throughout the season we can improve on these things as now our games should be “easier” than the first two games we played this season so our young guys can get more game reps. I truly believe Ohio State could have a shot at the playoffs if they improve vastly enough and dominate their conference (now whether or not they get in is up for debate which depends on the end season results of all the teams). Oregon played their asses off with having 2 of their players injured. I can’t imagine the carnage if both were playing this game. I wish the best for Oregon and hope to see them in a rematch in the future. Short Summary: Ohio State needs to fix and improve a few certain aspects of their game to have a shot at the playoffs (not guaranteed of course to get in as their will be better teams), Oregon played their asses off with handicap of missing 2 best defensive players and could have whooped our asses bad if they have played. I wish the best for Oregon and hope for a future rematch. Go Buckeyes!

Not such a big deal. Ohio State has a life time bowl record of 25-26. Is 2-11 against the SEC in bowl games and has a losing record to every major SEC team except LSU and is 1-1-1 against them, Also is 1-4 against both Clemson and Alabama. Not much to wright home about I would guess.

@@markmillers4491 you ever heard of the bend but don’t break defense. I focus on results not stats. They held them pretty well in the first half and then made key stops on the last 3 possessions of the game. Along with 2 key 4th down stops. Defense is doing great at limiting big plays.

They should have all the conferences have an in-conference tournament to crown a champion throughout the season every year and then every champion competes bracket style against each other for a National Champion. To make it more than 10 teams competing you can throw in some wild cards however many (4,6,8) but they’d have to be the team that lost their conference championship.
Oregon played it right on D. Bend but don't break. Play them tough between the 20s, make them work, but focus more on not giving up the big TD play. Whenever OSU got in/near the red zone the threat of a long pass was gone so the Oregon DBs could closed up a lot of those gaps and the drives fizzled out.

As an Ohio State fan I am impressed how we were still even able to keep it close with Oregon after the first half. I mean they were dominating us and had so many opportunities to blow us out yet we somehow were able to come back and make it a close game. Of course we blew it and I feel like there are a lot of things that needed to be improved for Ohio State to become a solid playoff candidate such as getting qb pressure on defense, getting Stroud more experience and working on his arm (his arm is solid but his accuracy seems to diminish when it really counts like all of the overthrown passes), stop being one dimensional on offense (They serious need some read option plays with Stroud and make the kid run the football. He seems soft and doesn’t like the contact probably due to not being exposed to enough of it.), and better coaching (getting better defensive adjustments and taking easy points early in the game. I mean Ohio State could have potentially tied the game if they had kicked 2 field goals rather than going for a 4th and medium yard situation outside of the 30 yard line). I hope that throughout the season we can improve on these things as now our games should be “easier” than the first two games we played this season so our young guys can get more game reps. I truly believe Ohio State could have a shot at the playoffs if they improve vastly enough and dominate their conference (now whether or not they get in is up for debate which depends on the end season results of all the teams). Oregon played their asses off with having 2 of their players injured. I can’t imagine the carnage if both were playing this game. I wish the best for Oregon and hope to see them in a rematch in the future.
Short Summary: Ohio State needs to fix and improve a few certain aspects of their game to have a shot at the playoffs (not guaranteed of course to get in as their will be better teams), Oregon played their asses off with handicap of missing 2 best defensive players and could have whooped our asses bad if they have played. I wish the best for Oregon and hope for a future rematch. Go Buckeyes!

@@markmillers4491 you ever heard of the bend but don’t break defense. I focus on results not stats. They held them pretty well in the first half and then made key stops on the last 3 possessions of the game. Along with 2 key 4th down stops. Defense is doing great at limiting big plays.

Oregon played it right on D. Bend but don't break. Play them tough between the 20s, make them work, but focus more on not giving up the big TD play. Whenever OSU got in/near the red zone the threat of a long pass was gone so the Oregon DBs could closed up a lot of those gaps and the drives fizzled out.
