First let me say I’m very proud of my Tigers. They left it all out there on the field at Bryant-Denny. Tough to let this one get away- because they actually had a legitimate chance to shock the college football world, last night.
And hey- Congratulations to Alabama, as well- they found a way to still win the game even though they clearly weren’t playing their best. Good teams find a way, and they did.

The team consist of different parts of the offense loses the anchor the center during the game it can throw the teams timing off sometimes when they have to substitute another player that hasn't been playing recently . It just seems like there's a lot of so called Alabama Crimson Tide fans who has forgotten about Nick Saban and what he has done Andrew will continue to do for Alabama . Well we played like crap but rtr, LSU held us on the brink, being a Bama fan I really don’t want to go to the playoffs looking like this.
It's Georgia at #1...then a drop off to #2 (who I still think is Alabama)...then a small drop off for #3 and #4. And just about 20 teams have a worthy claim for 3 or 4 right now. (Except Notre Dame...they shouldn't be ranked more than #20. They're way overrated with the most cupcake schedule, as usual.)

LSU is one of THE MOST difficult teams to win against from one season to the next. They have an extremely talented roster of players. SEC fans throughout the conference know exactly what I am saying here. Any doubters? I welcome your comments. ROLL TIDE

@@jeffbell3762 Thanks, Jeff, for your response. I truly do respect and have the utmost admiration for LSU football. I grew up in Alabama, Mobile area, back in the 60's.I now live in Pennsylvania. I have been a lifetime fan of Alabama football since childhood. You can understand what I am saying because of how fervent football is in that part of the country. LSU has simply had many many excellent teams over these years. The history speaks for itself. The pageantry and toughness of the SEC has always been front and center for me as a fan. I have seen the mighty struggles LSU and Bama have had over this time. And you're absolutely right about each team having more success on the other's team's home turf. What a crazy yet exciting scene to witness. I really do hope that Coach Kelly can accomplish all he wants there. He is an outstanding coach. Your state has tremendous athletes everywhere. You know this because Coach Saban gets his best players from the Bayou. Stay confident Jeff. You guys have great things coming in the very near future. I am not saying this just to make you happy, I firmly believe that the Bayou Tigers are gonna be truly awesome. You guys ALWAYS are! Don't ever, EVER, doubt the grit and determination of your teams. Dalcourt going down was massive. People underestimate how much O-line communication matters and it was lacking hard today.
Facts - u seem to be one of a few people that realize what happened tonight- the center is quarterback on the offensive line- that is the reason for bad protection and 6 yards rushing 🐘🏆🏈ROLL TIDE
But Chris Owens has two starts at that position, and in the playoffs of all games. He has reps and experience there so there should really be no big dips in communication the way that I see it.

Yeah, seemed like we had plenty of time and the defense really had me believing they would get a stop and give our kicker a chance. He can make them from 60 and LSU has enjoyed Bama games that have come down to kicking.
Was honestly shocked to see my Tigers in this game at the end and I’m proud of their effort. Coach O had the team ready, he coached an outstanding game...until that decision to go for it on 4th and goal. Now, I can’t really blame him if that’s the play they had drawn up all along, because it actually worked-Johnson’s throw was high, and he held onto it a moment too long (like he does). But a field goal and a stop gets you the ball with several minutes left, an offense that’s finally clicking, and a kicker that we saw the year before make it from 57 on the road in the clutch. SO CLOSE to stealing one from Bama that night! Can’t wait for the season, and Geaux Tigers!

LSU lost tonight because their QB is mediocre, caused turnovers and didn't capitalize, giving BAMA more opportunities to win.

We're not winning a ship this year y'all. I don't see it. This was the most disappointing game that I've had to sit through in a long time. How do you come off a bye week and into a game vs THIS team, after what happened two years ago in this match-up, and play this flat and uninspired? Coach O had NO business walking up and down the sideline talking to his players about how we didnt come to play. NO business. This should've been a shalacking from start to finish and it was not. Maybe its time to shake things up with this offensive line. Give JC and Brockermeyer some playing time and see what they're about. And get rid of our OC because he is not helping. If it aint one thing its another, and I didn't expect our defense to be the silver lining in this game but it was. We honestly don't deserve to be #2. Some people might read all of this and think I'm being too negative, but no I just try to be objective. This team as it is right now, just aint got it.
EDIT: For all the people who remember this comment and wanna come back to it after the SEC Championship game, let me say something. Being a fan of this team does not always mean being unflappable and having overly inflated sense of confidence. I'm still gonna ride with these guys whatever happens but I just made what I felt was a reasonable observation at the time, and had we came out against Georgia the way we did at LSU (and Auburn), and not played at the level that were capable of, we wouldnt have won that game. And yall know that. I became a fan of this team during Shula's last few years so trust me my support of this team has survived a lot worst than us not winning a championship. I remember the years where we weren't even in the picture to get to those games, so spare me the "fair weather fan" comments.

The final SEC games will be extremely tough for Alabama. You cannot expect to loose that much talent and not have these growing pains. I’m especially proud of this team as they continue to figure out themselves. The 2021 Bama team is like the 2020 LSU squad after losing multiple star players and coaches. The difference is that a Bama off year is still better that most teams (rebuilding or not) but the growing pains are still there. A 2-loss season will be a successful Alabama season this year.

@@captainkirk197 as a life long Georgia fan and alum I totally get that and I still have my worries. That being said, they have usually had some sort of trip up due to mental lapses, injuries, or blatant bad games, at this point. Kirby seems to have them hyper focused on the bigger goal, and what it takes to achieve it. He's got the perfect examples of what it looks like to be great but not finish in our own film from the last few seasons. Always a chance, but I've never seen a Georgia team look this good. Offense has had some hiccups, but the defense is so dominant to this point that it hasn't mattered. It's a strange year, with a lot of power house teams showing some real weaknesses. Alabama's defense is just trash compared to what we're used to seeing. They are making a lot of mental mistakes causing silly penalties. It's gonna be a good game I think. Who am I kidding though I would think it was a great game being 56-10 Georgia at the end 🤣🤣🤣.

This year has shown me records don't define if a team is good or not each week a different team in the same uniform shows up to play. The lsu bama games were all low scoring up untill about two years ago

Alabama is not the same dominating Bama of old… they got flaws this year which are being exposed by lesser opponents
They've always had flaws and clunker games with the exception of last year. Think back to 2015. After losing to Ole Miss, Bama let Butch Jones' Tennessee pull ahead with just a few minute left in the game before coming back to win. Bama had poor O-line play the entire 2015 year but the defense was so dominant, it really didn't come back to bite them. And Bama really didn't dominate Clemson in the title game. If Bama wins the title, no one will really be too concerned about these mishaps. No team is perfect, not even Georgia, who plays against a weak eastern division that doesn't have the coaching or recruiting to test them. This year is like the NFL. Anyone can beat anyone if you don't bring your A-game

I feel less confident as a Georgia fan. Our offense isn't the same without JT for the deep threat. Our defense will slow you down but our offense won't put up 40.

I remember last year Texas A&M had a game with a similar final score to this. The Aggies beat LSU 20-7 in a really disappointing showing. Despite that, the Aggies still won out and finished 9-1. Seems to be a thing with LSU. Pretty sure Bama will be fine.

Hindsight is 20/20. Considering how dreadful the offense was at moving the ball, they likely thought this was the closest they'd get to Alabama territory for the rest of the game. Remember, they had to convert 3 4th down conversions to score twice.

It's kind of funny to me is that Bryce keeps throwing it to Williams and Metchi I understand that these two are the number one and number two receiver's and they are more athletic but you have 3 more people that you can throw it to you have Billingsley, Slade and you also got Latu in the mix as well he needs to throw it to them as well rather than just those two players and on the other side of the ball I like how nick Saban doesn't throw in Drew Sanders in there just like Will Anderson he missed like 2 or 3 weeks play back in the beginning of the season then the next week he puts Anderson in after that week when he could have put in one of his back up's but with Drew he was suppose to be back this week and play but nope nick decides to put him as a second string behind Dallas Turner and yes I seen Drew on kick off and he played 2 or 3 snaps and then he was done for the rest of the game but also the thing is nick has put some injured players on the field like Johnathan Allen and Ruben Foster and I could name a few other players that played with an injury and played a full game but for Drew not in his case they going to sit him on the bench and I guaranteed when next year hits around Drew sanders will not be the stater he will be playing behind turner and that's going to be a given
