      25 for 217, 2TD’s, first one 18yards to take the lead, and second one for 33 to win it with 3 sec left. All KB26 has done is rush for >1000 yards in his two seasons, and I wouldn’t bet against him making three in a row this year. No, OU caught two hail-Mary passes (one with offensive interference), and Worthy ran out of end-zone on his own and fumbled. Just one of those not happening and Texas wins. At some point your luck will run out.

    Caleb didn't blink. We saw who Lincoln trusted with the last drive. #13 just has that juice that Spencer doesn't have. Plus the arm talent is there too. Those bombs were those off balance throws that only only a few can make. I don't see how you sit him after a performance like that.

    First of all, Alex Grinch, can you please stop playing conservatively at the beginning of games? The cover 4 zone nonsense is getting old. This defense obviously can't run true zone very well yet. Let them get after it with help over the top. The second half, he started running inside/outside stunts and drizzling in delayed blitzes off the edge with lots of drop two man under. Get you front seven energized and let them eat. Grinch is a damn good Defensive coordinator when he's aggressive. He just has to keep his foot on the throttle and get them going.
    Now, can we talk about Caleb Williams? That man came in and singlehandedly energized the entire team. He was making the correct reads and adjustments at the LOS (something Rattler can't do) which led to MUCH better blocking up front. They actually knew their assignments. This is a true freshman making adjustments at the line. That's impressive. He was working through his progressions fairly well. He did miss some reads and there was some incredible play from the likes of Hall and Mims, but for his first true game in potentially the biggest game of the season, I was so impressed with him. He was miles ahead of Rattler. Lincoln should really consider keeping him in. I know he won't, but he should. Rattler has had plenty of time but he just keeps missing throws, he doesn't have any situational awareness, he can't feel the pocket collapse, he sucks at working through his progressions and making adjustments. Not to mention he's a piss poor leader. The way the team rallied around Caleb says it all. Brooks never congratulated Rattler, but on Caleb's first play (Sneak TD) Brooks was right there. The whole offense was. This is obviously Caleb's team. Let him play.

      I see Lincoln using them both situationally. But I agree it should be primarily Caleb. He makes the O line look better, and Rattler makes them look worse.

    • @Tzap78
      @Tzap78 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@romi6810 So how do you see Rattler not hitting the transfer portal? He already lost millions and has to look out for No 1. Pretty risky in the playoffs with Caleb and a third string QB.

      @@Tzap78 I know this wasn't directed towards me, but personally, I don't see Spencer hitting the TP until this off-season. Not very many "decent" programs will want him right now. He's going to wait and then go somewhere once he has that experience under Lincoln Riley and puts himself far away from getting benched and playing rather subpar to be honest. That's just my opinion, but I could be wrong.
