I have been working out with you for years so I was a little worried when I saw that this said "beginners" BUT I was able to go heavy and kept my heart rate up the entire time. I couldn't believe when I looked up at the time, there was only less than 3 minutes left to the whole workout!! Thank you, Amy!! Awesome workout!!
So tonight, I committed to working out for the first time in almost 2 years. I have 3 sons aged 7, 2, and 14 months. I have not prioritized myself and couldn't find the time between work, school, sports, and bedtime to focus on me. Tonight Amy, I did this workout in my kitchen, body weight only while packing my kids lunch, and I have to say it was perfect! Thank you for this. I can't wait to come back tomorrow.
This full-body workout goes back to basics, with your primary exercises all performed from a standing position. Using dumbbells, it has three circuits of lower body, upper body, and core exercises in two rounds. This workout is excellent for beginners and can be tailored to go heavier or lighter, depending on your fitness level.

It was great to get back to basics as a reminder about 'technique' and check I was doing it correctly and that I hadn't developed 'bad' movements, which is possible when we have been doing something for quite a while. I adjusted my weights, to slightly heavier dumbbells, and I had a really good workout. Thank you

Even though I've been religiously doing the BodyFit by Amy videos for years now, I always appreciate when you challenge us to really notice how we're performing each move.
I was nervous about working out again after several weeks of having got out of the habit - a workout like this was ideal to get over the hump! Promised myself I would switch to my light weights instead of giving up, but actually I went heavy the whole way through (except the bicep curls). Stronger than I think, indeed! Amy, I'm back! It's been a few years. My knee blew out and I have 0 joint left. But, I just got weightloss surgery a couple weeks ago and I can feel my body becoming saggy as the weight is coming off. I can't do a lot because of my knee. But I gotta get in shape so I can get it replaced once all this weight comes off!
I can’t do deadlifts or hinges or windmills because of my back. I usually just modify it with bodyweight or lunges. Do you have any other suggestions to change it up. ? Loved a standing only dumbbell workout!!
