From Stan on Discord: Thank you so much for the showcase. It's an honor to be featured by such a prominent member of the community. Just a couple points of clarification if I may (I understand that designers' intent may not always come through in descriptions and purpose): 1) The Corseque (KOR-sek according to the internet, shrug) is designed specifically as a Legacy killer so the bare amount of shielding is solely to deal with symbiotes before you get to the main quarry. No spinny tactics needed, just get to the front of the enemy ship and stay there, down the shields, and core with the arty. Infectors and Decimators would be your first targets; stay away from the other two baddies until you've had a chance to upgrade to EMP Cruise and Modulated Gamma turrets. It CAN take some shield upgrades if desired - all 8 of the T1 boosters will fit flanking the shield gen (remove deco piping) and in the nose at the double-dot symbols, you can remove all the glowy internal blocks to fit two T2 boosters. You'll get a 23k fast recharge or 45k slow recharge shield once you do that. A couple large gens will fit between for the extra power needed. At that point it obviously won't be as much of an armor tank - no warranty expressed or implied. 2) In addition to performing high-g transport/exploration duties, the Kiwa is my 2nd generation of planetary POI ground pounder (including Harvesters). It utilizes the often overlooked atmo capability of Zirax Imperial turrets. Mount 12 of them on the bottom (I like 8 laser and 4 particle beam), buy your ammo from a trade station, and go smash things. It'll handle most POIs smaller than a Sector Command - full combat steel belly and shield upgradeable to 28k at Core9. When I first starting playing/building in Empyrion, your videos were part of what got me hooked so a huge THANK YOU for your continued vocal and active support of the game and the community.
Stan is, absolutely, the man. I've made heavy use of his catalogue in my SP and Broken Eden playthroughs, and the Kiwa in particular has served me very well in both. In fact, it took down a Ghyst HQ and all surrounding defensive POIs with those Zirax turrets. I probably mixed up his instructions and used 4 laser and 8 particle beams, but that combo works really well for drone harvesters and the aforementioned Ghyst HQ assault. Currently using his Pickaxe and Mhanga for mining, and gearing the Corseque up for a Legacy fight soon. The color scheme has definitely grown on me, and Stan's one of the builders that you find he's got a solution for whatever problem has come up.
Stan is a fantastic builder not only for looks but for functionality all his ships perform for the functions they were meant for. I'd go as far as to say Stan's ships are for players people that want it do get them in and out of situations rather than just a RP scenario. Great video Spanj
Stan is one of my favorite builders. His ships are always a great balance between purdy and practical. His block work puts mine to shame, but that is a fine way to learn
I'm using the TrineoXL on your server at this very moment. I absolutely love it! I modified one of the bays to be an HV platform though. One thing to note: You can run it and many of the modules for free as they each have full solar built in. Nice not having to take my perishables on my person when I log off :)
Absolutely love your builds Spanj, but I do tend to lean more towards more practical smaller builds like this. Stan has a new workshop follower! The module carrier locked it in for me. His docking concept, hopefully gets me one step closer to a Star Trek TNG Far Point type ship build. When I reattempt it, I will copy my BP folder often so I do not lose it again.
Really enjoyed the Stan showcase. I think Stan has knocked out some amazing designs. I always love simple and practical and that is very much how his work comes across. That and very nice looking :)

For those curious at 28:00 Stan's High G Lifter will haul 3.91/2.59kt respectively off 4/5G planets with minimal thrust. With High G active will lift 15.9/12.2kt respectively off 4/5G planets.
The corseque is a type of European pole weapon, characterised by a three-lobe blade on a 1.8 to 2.5-metre shaft. The head features a long spike and two shorter and stronger lateral blades

I've loved the concept of the Helios but it was always too big for my needs, this one is it I'm in love i will be downloading is into the factory with this ship in mind. THANK YOU STAN (and Spanj!)

Maybe just maybe, you might consider having a show case competition, where each creator subits 1 [starter] hover, sv, cv, base [limits need to apply and a few chaos crew can be judges giving score in categories of fun? survivability? combat menace? utility? 😄😄😄 What sez you?
My builds are 100% practical, with very little effort put into making them pretty. Stan has struck a really good balance of the two. Very nice builds. And there are worse builders to be inspired by than jrandall by a long shot.

the Pangoline is a great MinerSV but i raised the Shieldgenerator up in the ceeling so u dont get any radiation ps.: sry for bad english not my langwich :)
